Your new maintenance-free Philips vacuum beard trimmer combines

innovative technology and outstanding comfort of use.

The integrated vacuum mechanism absorbs cut-off hairs during use and

guarantees a clean washbasin after use.

The contour-following comb, the self-sharpening cutting element and

the adjustment ring for selecting hair lengths of 1.5 to 18 mm ensure

excellent cutting results and time-saving operation.The high-quality

precision trimmer guarantees a precise and defined cut and the

ergonomic shape of the appliance allows pleasant and comfortable

handling.

Check if the voltage indicated on the powerplug corresponds to

the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

Only use the powerplug supplied.

Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

Charge, use and store the appliance at a temperature between

15cC and 35cC.

This appliance is only designed for trimming the human beard. Do

not use the appliance for any other purpose.

Do not use the appliance if the cutting unit is damaged or

broken, as this may cause injury.

If the powerplug is damaged, always have it replaced by one of the

original type in order to avoid a hazard.

Charging

Charge the appliance fully before you start using it for the first time or

after a long period of disuse.

Charge indications (QT4080 only)

Battery running low

When the battery capacity drops below its minimum level, the

red battery-low light starts blinking when you switch the trimmer

on or during trimming to indicate that the appliance needs to be

charged (fig. 2).

When this happens, there is still enough energy in the battery for one

more trimming session.When the battery is completely empty, neither

the motor nor the lights will go on. In this case you can run the

appliance from the mains.

Charging

When you start charging, the green light starts blinking (fig. 3).

During charging the blinking green light indicates the level at

which the battery is currently charging.The battery capacity that

is already available is indicated by the green battery lights that

burn continuously (fig. 4).

Battery fully charged

When the battery is fully charged, the bottom three green lights burn

continuously and the top green light blinks at a very high frequency.

Battery capacity indication

Your Philips beard trimmer is equipped with a battery capacity

indication.This indication becomes visible for 5 seconds every time the

appliance is switched on or off.The number of burning green lights

indicates the amount of battery capacity that is available.

Charging the appliance

QT4080/QT4060 only:The appliance can also be run directly from the

mains (see chapter 'Using the appliance', section 'Corded trimming').

Charge the appliance fully before you start using it for the first time or

after a long period of disuse.

1 Make sure the appliance is switched off before you start charging

it.

2 Insert the appliance plug into the appliance and put the

powerplug in the wall socket.

QT4080 only:

It will take approx. 1 hour to fully charge the battery if it is

completely empty. If there is still battery capacity available, fully

charging the battery will take less time.

A fully charged appliance has a cordless trimming time of up to

50 minutes.

QT4060/QT4040 only:

The charging light goes on to indicate that the appliance is

charging (fig. 5).

The charging light will not go out when the battery is fully charged.

It will take approx. 10 hours to fully charge the battery if it is

completely empty. If there is still battery capacity available, fully

charging the battery will take less time.

A fully charged appliance has a cordless trimming time of up to

50 minutes.

For a single trimming session the appliance must be charged for

at least 90 minutes.

Optimising the lifetime of the rechargeable battery

After the appliance has been charged for the first time, use it until

the battery is completely empty.

Do not charge the appliance for more than 24 hours.

Do not keep the powerplug plugged into the wall socket all the

time.

Do not recharge the appliance between trimming sessions.

Discharge the battery completely twice a year by letting the motor

run until it stops.Then fully recharge the battery.

If the appliance has not been used for a long period of time, it must

be fully recharged.

Preparing for use

Always comb your beard or moustache with a fine comb before you

start trimming.

Using the appliance

Corded trimming (QT4080/QT4060 only)

Do not run the appliance from the mains when the battery is fully

charged.

If the battery is low, you can also use the appliance from the mains:

1 Switch the trimmer off, connect it to the mains and wait a few

seconds before switching it on.

2 If the battery is completely empty, wait a few minutes before

switching the appliance on.

Absorbing cut hairs

The suction system is activated automatically as soon as you switch the

appliance on. It absorbs cut hairs during every kind of use, i.e. trimming

with and without comb attachment and contouring.The flexible hair

guide follows the contours of the face and directs cut hairs towards the

nozzle of the vacuum mechanism.

We advise you to empty the hair-collection chamber after each

trimming session.When trimming long, dense beards it may also be

necessary to empty the hair-collection chamber during the trimming

session in order to maintain optimal suction performance (also see

chapter 'Cleaning', section 'Hair-collection chamber').

To ensure optimal functioning of the vacuum system, do not cut off

more than approx. 7mm of your overall beard length at a time. If you

want to cut your beard shorter, repeat the process one or more times.

Trimming with comb attachment

1 Turn the adjustment ring (Precision Zoom Lock`) to the desired

trimming length setting (see table) (fig. 6).

The setting will appear in the window below the adjustment ring

(Precision Zoom Lock`).

If you are trimming for the first time, start with the maximum

trimming length setting (9).

2 To trim in the most effective way, move the trimmer against the

direction of hair growth. Do not move the trimmer too fast.

Make smooth and gentle movements and make sure the surface

of the comb always stays in contact with the skin (fig. 7).

Trimming without comb attachment

Full beards and single hairs.

1 Remove the comb attachment (fig. 9).

Never pull at the flexible top of the comb attachment.Always pull at

the bottom part.

2 Make well-controlled movements and touch the hair lightly with

the trimmer (fig. 10).

Shaping with the precision trimmer (QT4080 only)

Moustaches, contours, single hairs and sideburns.

1 Remove the comb attachment (fig. 9).

Never pull at the flexible top of the comb attachment.Always pull at

the bottom part.

2 Remove the cutting unit (fig. 11).

3 Attach the precision trimmer (fig. 12).

4 When you are using the precision trimmer, hold the appliance in

such a way that the trimmer is pointing upwards (fig. 13).

Cleaning

The appliance may only be cleaned dry.

Do not use abrasives, scourers or liquids such as alcohol, petrol or

acetone to clean the appliance.

Never use sharp or hard objects to clean the filter to avoid damaging

it.

Hair-collection chamber

1 Switch the appliance off.

2 Remove the hair-collection chamber and remove the hairs by

shaking or brushing them out (fig. 14).

3 For extra thorough cleaning and to maintain optimal suction

performance, detach the filter.. (fig. 15).

4 ...and carefully clean the hair-collection chamber and the filter

with the brush supplied (fig. 16).

Appliance

1 Remove the comb attachment.

2 Remove the cutting unit (fig. 11).

3 Clean the cutting unit and the inside of the appliance with the

brush supplied (fig. 17).

4 Reattach the cutting unit and the comb attachment to the

appliance (fig. 18).

Replacement

Worn or damaged cutting units and filters should only be replaced with

original Philips replacement parts which are available at your dealer or

at authorised Philips service centres.

Environment

Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household

waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection

point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the

environment (fig. 19).

The built-in rechargeable battery contains substances that may pollute

the environment.Always remove the battery before discarding the

appliance or handing it in at an official collection point. Dispose of the

battery at an official collection point for batteries. If you have trouble

removing the battery, you can also take the appliance to a Philips

service centre, which will remove the battery for you and will dispose

of it in an environmentally safe way.

Removing the battery

Do not connect the appliance to the mains again after it has been

opened.

Follow the steps below to remove the battery.

1 Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let the appliance

run until the motor stops.

2 Separate the two housing parts by means of a screwdriver

(fig. 20).

3 Pull out the printed circuit board (fig. 21).

4 Remove the rechargeable battery by means of a screwdriver and

detach it by bending or turning it several times until the

connections break (fig. 22).

Troubleshooting

The trimmer does not work when it is switched on and none of the

lights go on:

1 If the battery is completely empty, the trimmer will not work and

the lights will not go on when the appliance is switched on.

Charge the appliance until it is fully charged (also see chapter

'Charging').

If the suction system of the vacuum beard trimmer performs poorly or

does not work at all, check the points listed below.

2 Is the hair-collection chamber empty? (fig. 16).

We advise you to empty the hair-collection chamber after each

trimming session.When cutting long, dense beards, it may also be

necessary to empty the hair-collection chamber during the trimming

session.

3 Is the hair-collection chamber or the filter wet?

Both parts may only be cleaned dry. If one of these parts becomes wet,

dry it carefully.

4 Does the flexible hair guide in front of the cutting unit jam?

(fig. 23).

The transparent hair guide needs to be flexible in order to be able to

adjust to the contours of the face. If it jams because hairs have got

stuck in it, remove the hairs carefully with the brush supplied.The

flexible hair guide should yield at the touch of a finger.

5 Do you move the appliance in the optimal direction? (fig. 7).

For the best possible cutting and suction performance, we advise you to

move the trimmer upwards, against the direction of hair growth, making

smooth and gentle strokes.

Ladeanzeigen (nur QT4080)

Akku fast leer

Wenn die Akkukapazität unter den Mindeststand gesunken ist,

beginnt die rote Akkustandsanzeige zu blinken, sobald Sie den

Bartschneider einschalten oder bereits benutzen. Dadurch wird

angezeigt, dass das Gerät aufgeladen werden muss (Abb. 2).

Der Akku hat dann noch genug Energie für einen Bartschnitt. Ist der

Akku ganz leer, läuft weder der Motor noch leuchten die Anzeigen. In

diesem Fall können Sie das Gerät am Netz betreiben.

Wenn Sie mit dem Laden beginnen, blinkt die grüne Anzeige

(Abb. 3).

Während des Aufladens zeigt die blinkende grüne Anzeige den

jeweiligen Ladestand an. Die bereits verfügbare Akku-Kapazität

wird durch die kontinuierlich leuchtenden grünen

Akkustandsanzeigen angezeigt (Abb. 4).

Akku vollständig aufgeladen

Wenn der Akku voll aufgeladen ist, leuchten die unteren drei grünen

Anzeigen kontinuierlich, und die obere grüne Anzeige blinkt sehr

schnell.

Ladestandsanzeige

Ihr Philips Bartschneider ist mit einer Ladestandsanzeige ausgestattet.

Diese Anzeige leuchtet bei jedem Ein- oder Ausschalten des Geräts 5

Sekunden lang auf. Die Anzahl der leuchtenden grünen Anzeigen zeigt

die verfügbare Akku-Kapazität an.

Das Gerät laden

Nur bei QT4080/QT4060: sie können das Gerät auch direkt am Netz

betreiben (siehe Kapitel "Das Gerät verwenden",Abschnitt "Das Gerät

am Netz betreiben").

Laden Sie das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch, und wenn Sie es

längere Zeit nicht benutzt haben, vollständig auf.

1 Das Gerät muss ausgeschaltet sein, wenn Sie mit dem Laden

beginnen.

Die Lebensdauer des Akkus optimieren

Lassen Sie das Netzteil nicht die ganze Zeit in der Steckdose.

Entladen Sie den Akku zweimal pro Jahr vollständig, indem Sie den

Motor so lange laufen lassen, bis er anhält. Laden Sie den Akku dann

wieder vollständig auf.

Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wurde, muss es wieder

voll aufgeladen werden.

Für den Gebrauch vorbereiten

Kämmen Sie Ihren Bart oder Schnurrbart vor dem Schneiden immer

mit einem feinen Kamm durch.

Das Gerät verwenden

Das Gerät am Netz betreiben (nur QT4080/QT4060)

Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit Netzstrom, wenn der Akku

vollständig aufgeladen ist.

Wenn der Ladestand des Akkus niedrig ist, können Sie das Gerät auch

am Netz betreiben:

1 Schalten Sie den Bartschneider aus, schließen Sie ihn an das

Stromnetz an, und warten Sie einige Sekunden, bevor Sie ihn

einschalten.

2 Ist der Akku ganz leer, warten Sie einige Minuten, bevor Sie das

Gerät einschalten.

Abgeschnittene Barthaare auffangen

Sobald Sie das Gerät einschalten, wird das Saugsystem automatisch

aktiviert. Bei jeder Art der Anwendung (beim Schneiden mit oder ohne

Kammaufsatz sowie beim Konturenschnitt) werden die abgeschnittenen

Haare aufgefangen. Die bewegliche Haarführung folgt den Konturen

Ihres Gesichts und führt die abgeschnittenen Haare direkt in die Düse

desVakuummechanismus.

Entleeren Sie die Haarauffangkammer nach jedem Gebrauch.Wenn Sie

lange und dichte Barthaare schneiden, kann es erforderlich sein, die

Haarauffangkammer während desTrimmens zu entleeren: So bleibt die

optimale Saugleistung erhalten (siehe auch Kapitel "Reinigung",Abschnitt

"Die Haarauffangkammer".

Damit das Vakuumsystem optimal funktioniert, sollten Sie höchstens 7

mm der gesamten Barthaarlänge auf einmal abschneiden.Wenn Sie

Ihren Bart kürzer schneiden möchten, wiederholen Sie den Vorgang

nach Bedarf.

Das Gerät mit Kammaufsatz verwenden

1 Drehen Sie den Zoom-Ring (Precision Zoom Lock `) auf die

gewünschte Schnittlänge (sieheTabelle) (Abb. 6).

Die gewählte Einstellung wird in dem Fenster unterhalb des

Zoom-Rings (Precision Zoom Lock `) angezeigt.

Wenn Sie Ihren Bart zum ersten Mal schneiden, stellen Sie die

maximale Schnittlänge (9) ein.

2 Für das beste Ergebnis sollten Sie den Bartschneider gegen die

Bartwuchsrichtung führen. Bewegen Sie ihn jedoch nicht zu

schnell, sondern mit sanften, gleitenden Bewegungen, wobei der

Kamm stets in Berührung mit der Haut bleiben sollte (Abb. 7).

Das Gerät ohne Kammaufsatz verwenden

Vollbärte und einzelne Barthaare.

1 Nehmen Sie den Kammaufsatz vom Gerät (Abb. 9).

Ziehen Sie niemals an der beweglichen Spitze des Kammaufsatzes,

sondern nur am unterenTeil.

2 Schneiden Sie den Bart mit gezielten Bewegungen, wobei das

Gerät leicht das Barthaar berührt (Abb. 10).

Konturenschnitt mit dem Präzisionstrimmer (nur

QT4080)

Schnurrbart, Konturen, einzelne Haare und Koteletten.

1 Nehmen Sie den Kammaufsatz vom Gerät (Abb. 9).

Ziehen Sie niemals an der beweglichen Spitze des Kammaufsatzes,

sondern nur am unterenTeil.

2 Nehmen Sie die Schneideeinheit ab (Abb. 11).

3 Befestigen Sie den Präzisionstrimmer (Abb. 12).

4 Halten Sie beiVerwendung des Präzisionstrimmers das Gerät so,

dass dieser nach oben zeigt (Abb. 13).

Reinigung

Das Gerät darf nur trocken gereinigt werden.

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keine Scheuermittel oder

Lösungsmittel wie Alkohol, Benzin oder Azeton.

Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder harten Gegenstände zum

Reinigen des Filters, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.

Die Haarauffangkammer

1 Schalten Sie dazu das Gerät aus.

2 Nehmen Sie die Haarauffangkammer ab, und entfernen Sie die

Barthaare durch Ausschütteln oder Ausbürsten (Abb. 14).

3 Für eine besonders gründliche Reinigung und um die optimale

Saugleistung zu bewahren, nehmen Sie den Filter ab .. (Abb. 15).

4 ... und reinigen Sie die Haarauffangkammer und den Filter

vorsichtig mit der beiliegenden Bürste (Abb. 16).

2 Nehmen Sie die Schneideeinheit ab (Abb. 11).

3 Reinigen Sie die Schneideeinheit und das Innere des Geräts mit

der beiliegenden Bürste (Abb. 17).

4 Setzen Sie die Schneideeinheit und den Kammaufsatz wieder auf

das Gerät (Abb. 18).

Ersatzteile

Abgenutzte oder beschädigte Schneideeinheiten und Filter dürfen nur

durch Philips Original-Ersatzteile ausgetauscht werden, die bei Ihrem

Händler oder einem Philips Service-Center erhältlich sind.

Umweltschutz

Werfen Sie das Gerät am Ende der Lebensdauer nicht in den

normalen Hausmüll. Bringen Sie es zum Reccling zu einer

offiziellen Samelstelle.Auf dieseWeise helfen Sie, die Umwelt zu

schonen (Abb. 19).

Der integrierte Akku enthält Substanzen, die die Umwelt gefährden

können. Entfernen Sie den Akku, bevor Sie das Gerät entsorgen oder es

an einer der offiziellen Recyclingstellen abgeben. Geben Sie den

gebrauchten Akku bei einer Batteriesammelstelle ab. Falls Sie beim

Entfernen des Akkus Probleme haben, können Sie das Gerät auch an

ein Philips Service-Center geben. Dort wird der Akku umweltgerecht

entsorgt.

Den Akku ausbauen

Wenn der Akku entfernt worden ist, darf das Gerät nicht mehr an

das Stromnetz angeschlossen werden.

Fehlerbehebung

Der Bartschneider läuft nicht, wenn er eingeschaltet ist, und keine der

Anzeigen leuchtet auf:

1 Wenn der Akku ganz leer ist, läuft das Gerät beim Einschalten

nicht. Die Anzeigen leuchten auch nicht auf. Laden Sie das Gerät

vollständig auf (siehe auch Kapitel "Laden"). Das Aufladen dauert

ca. 1 Stunde.

Sollte dasVakuumsystem Ihres Bartschneiders nicht ordnungsgemäß

oder gar nicht funktionieren, überprüfen Sie bitte Folgendes:

2 Ist die Haarauffangkammer leer? (Abb. 16).

Entleeren Sie die Haarauffangkammer nach jedem Gebrauch des

Bartschneiders.Wenn Sie lange, dichte Barthaare schneiden, muss die

Haarauffangkammer möglicherweise auch während des Schneidens

entleert werden.

3 Ist die Haarauffangkammer oder der Filter nass?

Beide Komponenten dürfen nur trocken gereinigt werden. Sollten sie

nass geworden sein, trocknen Sie sie vorsichtig.

4 Ist die bewegliche Haarführung vorne an der Schneideeinheit

blockiert? (Abb. 23).

Die durchsichtige Haarführung muss beweglich bleiben, um sich den

Gesichtskonturen anzupassen. Sollte sie durch festsitzende Haare

blockiert sein, entfernen Sie die Haare vorsichtig mit der beiliegenden

Bürste. Die bewegliche Haarführung sollte bei Berührung nachgeben.

5 Bewegen Sie das Gerät in die optimale Richtung? (Abb. 7).

Um die bestmögliche Schneide- und Saugleistung zu erhalten, sollten Sie

den Bartschneider mit sanften, gleitenden Bewegungen nach oben,

gegen die Bartwuchsrichtung, führen.

Batterie faible

Si le niveau de charge de la batterie est trop faible lorsque vous

mettez l'appareil en marche ou en cours de fonctionnement, le

voyant rouge commence à clignoter pour indiquer que l'appareil

doit être rechargé (fig. 2).

À ce stade, le niveau de charge de la batterie est suffisant pour une

utilisation supplémentaire. Lorsque la batterie est complètement

déchargée, le moteur ne peut pas être mis en marche et les voyants ne

Batterie entièrement chargée

Lorsque la batterie est complètement chargée, les trois derniers

voyants verts restent allumés continuellement et le voyant vert du haut

clignote rapidement.

Indication du niveau de charge de la batterie

Votre tondeuse à barbe Philips est équipée d'un système d'indication

du niveau de charge de la batterie. Cette indication apparaît pendant 5

secondes à chaque fois que vous mettez en marche ou arrêtez

l'appareil. Le nombre de voyants verts allumés indique le niveau de

charge actuel.

Charge de l'appareil

QT4080/QT4060 uniquement : cet appareil peut fonctionner sur

secteur (voir le chapitre « Utilisation de l'appareil », section «

Utilisation de la tondeuse sur secteur »).

Chargez l'appareil complètement avant la première utilisation ou après

une longue période de non-utilisation.

1 Assurez-vous que l'appareil est éteint avant de le mettre en

charge.

2 Insérez la petite fiche dans l'appareil et branchez le cordon

d'alimentation dans la prise de courant.

QT4080 uniquement :

Une charge complète dure environ 1 heure ou moins si l'appareil

n'est pas complètement déchargé.

Un appareil complètement chargé offre une autonomie

Optimisation de la durée de vie de la batterie

Après avoir chargé l'appareil pour la première fois, utilisez-le jusqu'à

ce que la batterie soit vide.

Ne chargez jamais l'appareil pendant plus de 24 heures.

Évitez de laisser l'appareil branché sur le secteur en permanence.

Évitez de recharger l'appareil entre chaque séance.

Déchargez complètement la batterie deux fois par an en laissant

l'appareil fonctionner jusqu'à l'arrêt du moteur. Ensuite, rechargez

complètement la batterie.

Si vous n'avez pas utilisé l'appareil pendant une longue période,

rechargez-le complètement.

Avant utilisation

Peignez toujours votre barbe ou moustache avec un peigne fin avant de

les tailler.

Aspiration des poils coupés

Le système d'aspiration est activé automatiquement lorsque vous

mettez l'appareil en marche. Il aspire systématiquement les poils

coupés, que vous utilisiez ou non le sabot ou que vous fassiez des

contours. Le guide flexible suit les contours du visage et dirige les poils

coupés vers le suceur.

Il est recommandé de vider le compartiment à poils après chaque

utilisation. Si vous avez une barbe longue et fournie, il peut être

nécessaire de vider le compartiment pendant la séance de taille pour

maintenir une aspiration optimale (voir également le chapitre «

Nettoyage », section « Compartiment à poils »).

Pour un fonctionnement optimal du système à vide, ne taillez pas plus

de 7 mm de barbe en une séance. Répétez l'opération une ou

plusieurs fois pour obtenir une barbe plus courte.

Taille avec le sabot

1 Tournez l'anneau de réglage (Precision Zoom Lock`) sur la

position désirée (voir tableau) (fig. 6).

Le réglage apparaît dans la fenêtre située au-dessous de l'anneau

(Precision Zoom Lock`).

Si vous utilisez l'appareil pour la première fois, commencez par

sélectionner le réglage de longueur maximum (9).

mouvements rapides, mais des mouvements uniformes et tout en

Remplacement

Les blocs tondeuse et les filtres usés ou endommagés doivent être

remplacés uniquement par des accessoires d'origine Philips, disponibles

auprès de votre revendeur ou d'un Centre Service Agréé Philips.

Environnement

Lorsqu'il ne fonctionnera plus, ne jetez pas l'appareil avec les

ordures ménagères mais déposez-le à un endroit assigné à cet

effet, où il pourra être recyclé.Vous contribuerez ainsi à la

protection de l'environnement (fig. 19).

La batterie rechargeable intégrée contient des substances qui peuvent

nuire à l'environnement.Veillez à toujours retirer la batterie avant de

mettre l'appareil au rebut ou de le déposer à un endroit assigné à cet

effet. Déposez la batterie usagée à un endroit assigné à cet effet. Si vous

n'arrivez pas à retirer la batterie, vous pouvez apporter l'appareil dans

un Centre Service Agréé Philips qui prendra toute l'opération en

charge.

Retrait de la batterie

Ne branchez plus l'appareil sur le secteur après avoir l'avoir ouvert.

Suivez les étapes suivantes pour retirer la batterie.

1 Débranchez l'appareil de la prise secteur et laissez-le fonctionner

jusqu'à l'arrêt complet du moteur.

2 Écartez les deux parties du boîtier à l'aide d'un tournevis

(fig. 20).

3 Retirez le circuit imprimé (fig. 21).

4 Retirez la batterie rechargeable à l'aide d'un tournevis et

détachez-la en la pliant ou en la tournant jusqu'à ce que les

connexions cassent (fig. 22).

Dépannage

La tondeuse ne fonctionne pas lorsqu'elle est mise en marche et les

1 Si la batterie est complètement déchargée, la tondeuse ne

fonctionne pas et les voyants ne s'allument pas lorsque vous

mettez l'appareil en marche. Chargez l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il soit

complètement chargé (voir également le chapitre « Charge »).

Si le système d'aspiration de la tondeuse n'offre pas des résultats

satisfaisants ou ne fonctionne pas du tout, vérifiez les points ci-dessous.

2 Le compartiment à poils est-il vide ? (fig. 16).

Il est recommandé de vider le compartiment à poils après chaque

utilisation. Si vous avez une barbe longue et fournie, il peut être

nécessaire de vider le compartiment pendant la séance.

3 Le compartiment à poils ou le filtre est-il humide ?

Les deux composants doivent être nettoyés à sec. Si l'un de ces

composants est humide, séchez-le soigneusement.

4 Le guide flexible situé à l'avant du bloc tondeuse est-il bloqué ?

(fig. 23).

Le guide transparent doit être flexible pour s'adapter aux contours du

visage. S'il est bloqué à cause des poils coupés, retirez-les

soigneusement avec la brosse fournie. Le guide flexible doit se plier au

contact le plus léger.

Uw nieuwe onderhoudsvrije Philips-baardtrimmer met afzuigfunctie

combineert vernieuwende technologie met optimaal gebruiksgemak.

Het geïntegreerde afzuigmechanisme zuigt afgeknipte haren af tijdens

het knippen en zorgt voor een schone wastafel na gebruik.

De contourvolgende kam, het zelfslijpende knipelement en de instelring

Opladen

Oplaadlampjes (alleen QT4080)

Accu bijna leeg

Wanneer de accucapaciteit tot beneden het minimumniveau is

gezakt, gaat het rode 'Accu bijna leeg'-lampje knipperen wanneer

u de baardtrimmer inschakelt of gebruikt om aan te geven dat het

apparaat moet worden opgeladen (fig. 2).

Wanneer dit rode lampje gaat knipperen, zit er nog genoeg energie in

de accu voor één knipbeurt.Wanneer de accu helemaal leeg is, gaat de

motor niet aan en gaan er geen lampjes branden wanneer u het

apparaat probeert in te schakelen. In dat geval kunt u het apparaat op

netspanning gebruiken.

Opladen

Het groene lampje gaat knipperen zodra het apparaat wordt

opgeladen (fig. 3).

Tijdens het opladen geeft het knipperende groene lampje aan op

welk niveau de accu op dat moment aan het opladen is. Continu

brandende groene lampjes geven aan hoeveel energie inmiddels

beschikbaar is (fig. 4).

Accu vol

Wanneer de accu volledig is opgeladen, branden de onderste drie

groene lampjes continu en knippert het bovenste groene lampje in zeer

hoog tempo.

Accucapaciteit

Telkens wanneer u de Philips-baardtrimmer in- of uitschakelt, laten de

groene lampjes gedurende 5 seconden zien hoeveel accucapaciteit er

nog beschikbaar is. Het aantal groene lampjes dat brandt, geeft aan

hoeveel energie er nog in de accu zit.

Het apparaat opladen

Alleen QT4080/QT4060: u kunt het apparaat ook gebruiken door het

rechtstreeks op netspanning aan te sluiten (zie 'Gebruik met snoer' in

hoofdstuk 'Het apparaat gebruiken').

Laad het apparaat volledig op voordat u het voor de eerste keer

gebruikt en wanneer u het langere tijd niet hebt gebruikt.

1 Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat uitgeschakeld is voordat u het gaat

opladen.

2 Steek het apparaatstekkertje in het apparaat en steek de

powerplug in het stopcontact.

Alleen QT4080:

Wanneer de accu helemaal leeg is, duurt het ongeveer 1 uur om

Alleen QT4060/QT4040:

Het oplaadlampje gaat branden om aan te geven dat het apparaat

wordt opgeladen (fig. 5).

Het oplaadlampje gaat niet uit wanneer de accu volledig is opgeladen.

Wanneer de accu helemaal leeg is, duurt het ongeveer 10 uur om

deze volledig op te laden.Als de accu nog niet helemaal leeg is,

kost het minder tijd om deze volledig op te laden.

Een volledig opgeladen apparaat heeft een snoerloze kniptijd tot

50 minuten.

Om genoeg accucapaciteit te hebben voor één knipbeurt, moet

het apparaat minstens 90 minuten worden opgeladen.

De levensduur van de accu optimaliseren

Wanneer u het apparaat voor het eerst hebt opgeladen, gebruik

het dan totdat de accu helemaal leeg is, zonder het tussen

knipbeurten op te laden.

Laad het apparaat niet langer dan 24 uur op.

Laat de powerplug niet continu in het stopcontact zitten.

Laad het apparaat niet op tussen de knipbeurten.

Ontlaad de accu twee keer per jaar door de motor te laten lopen

totdat deze stopt. Laad het apparaat daarna volledig op.

Als u het apparaat langere tijd niet hebt gebruikt, moet het volledig

worden opgeladen.

Klaarmaken voor gebruik

Kam uw baard of snor altijd goed door met een fijne kam voordat u

het apparaat gaat gebruiken.

Het apparaat gebruiken

Gebruik met snoer (alleen QT4080/QT4060)

Gebruik het apparaat niet op netspanning wanneer de accu volledig is

opgeladen.

Wanneer de accu bijna leeg is, kunt u het apparaat ook op

netspanning gebruiken:

1 Schakel de trimmer uit, sluit deze aan op de netspanning en

wacht enkele seconden voordat u de trimmer weer inschakelt.

2 Indien de accu helemaal leeg is, wacht dan enkele minuten

voordat u het apparaat inschakelt.

Het afzuigmechanisme

Het afzuigsysteem wordt automatisch geactiveerd wanneer u het

apparaat inschakelt. Dit systeem zuigt afgeknipte haren af tijdens elke

toepassing, d.w.z. bij gebruik met of zonder opzetkam en bij het knippen

van contouren. De flexibele haargeleider volgt de contouren van het

We raden u aan de haarkamer na elke knipbeurt leeg te maken. Bij het

knippen van lange, dichte baarden kan het nodig zijn de haarkamer

tijdens de knipbeurt te legen om ervoor te zorgen dat het apparaat

optimaal blijft afzuigen (zie ook 'Haarkamer' in hoofdstuk

'Schoonmaken').

Om verzekerd te zijn van een optimaal functioneren van het

afzuigsysteem, mag u per keer niet meer dan circa 7 mm van uw

baard afknippen.Als u uw baard korter wilt knippen, herhaal het proces

dan één of meerdere keren.

Bijknippen met opzetkam

1 Draai de instelring (Precision Zoom Lock`) naar de gewenste

haarlengtestand (zie tabel) (fig. 6).

Snorren, contouren, losse haren en bakkebaarden

1 Verwijder de opzetkam (fig. 9).

Trek nooit aan de buigzame bovenkant van de opzetkam, maar altijd

aan het onderste gedeelte.

2 Verwijder het knipelement (fig. 11).

3 Bevestig de precisietrimmer (fig. 12).

4 Wanneer u de precisietrimmer gebruikt, houd het apparaat dan

vast met de trimmer naar boven gericht (fig. 13).

Schoonmaken

Het apparaat mag alleen droog worden gereinigd.

Gebruik voor het reinigen van het apparaat geen agressieve

schoonmaakmiddelen, schuurmiddelen of vloeistoffen als alcohol,

benzine of aceton.

Gebruik geen scherpe of harde voorwerpen om het filter te reinigen

om beschadiging te voorkomen.

Haarkamer

1 Schakel het apparaat uit.

2 Verwijder de haarkamer en schud of borstel de haren eruit

(fig. 14).

3 Voor een extra grondige reiniging en om ervoor te zorgen dat

het apparaat optimaal blijft afzuigen, neemt u het filter uit het

apparaat.. (fig. 15).

4 ...en maakt u de haarkamer en het filter schoon met het

bijgeleverde borsteltje (fig. 16).

Vervangen

Versleten of beschadigde knipelementen en filters mogen uitsluitend

worden vervangen door originele Philips-vervangingsonderdelen. Deze

zijn verkrijgbaar bij uw dealer en bij geautoriseerde Philips-

servicecentra.

Milieu

Gooi het apparaat aan het einde van zijn levensduur niet weg met

het normale huisvuil, maar lever het in op een door de overheid

aangewezen inzamelpunt. Op die manier levert u een bijdrage aan

een schonere leefomgeving (fig. 19).

De ingebouwde accu bevat stoffen die schadelijk kunnen zijn voor het

milieu.Verwijder altijd de accu voordat u het apparaat afdankt en

inlevert op een door de overheid aangewezen inzamelpunt. Lever de

accu in op een officieel inzamelpunt voor batterijen.Als u problemen

ondervindt bij het verwijderen van de accu, kunt u met het apparaat

ook naar een Philips-servicecentrum gaan. Daar verwijdert men dan de

accu voor u en zorgt men ervoor dat deze op milieuvriendelijke wijze

wordt verwerkt.

De accu verwijderen

Sluit het apparaat niet meer aan op netspanning nadat u het hebt

geopend.

Verwijder de accu als volgt:

1 Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat de motor lopen

totdat deze stopt.

2 Haal de twee delen van de behuizing uit elkaar met een

schroevendraaier (fig. 20).

3 Trek de printplaat uit het apparaat (fig. 21).

4 Licht de accu van de printplaat met een schroevendraaier en

breek de accu los door deze enkele keren te draaien of te buigen

totdat de verbindingen afbreken (fig. 22).

Problemen oplossen

De trimmer werkt niet wanneer deze wordt ingeschakeld en geen van

de lampjes gaat branden:

1 Wanneer de accu helemaal leeg is, werkt de motor niet en gaan

er geen lampjes branden wanneer het apparaat wordt

ingeschakeld. Laad het apparaat volledig op (zie hoofdstuk

'Opladen').

Als het afzuigsysteem van de baardtrimmer niet goed werkt of

helemaal niet werkt, controleer dan de onderstaande punten.

2 Is de haarkamer leeg? (fig. 16).

3 Is de haarkamer of het filter nat?

Beide onderdelen mogen alleen droog worden gereinigd.Als een van

deze onderdelen toch nat wordt, droog het dan voorzichtig.

4 Zit de flexibele haargeleider die voor het knipelement zit klem?

(fig. 23).

De doorzichtige haargeleider moet flexibel zijn om zich te kunnen

aanpassen aan de contouren van het gezicht.Als de haargeleider klem

komt te zitten omdat er haren in vastzitten, verwijder de haren dan

voorzichtig met het bijgeleverde borsteltje. De flexibele haargeleider

moet meegeven als u deze slechts licht aanraakt.

5 Beweegt u het apparaat in de optimale richting? (fig. 7).

Voor het beste knip- en afzuigresultaat, raden we u aan de trimmer

naar boven te bewegen, tegen de richting van de haargroei in, en

vloeiende en rustige bewegingen te maken.

Indicaciones de carga (sólo modelo QT4080)

La batería se está agotando

Cuando la carga de la batería alcanza un nivel inferior al mínimo,

el piloto rojo de batería baja comienza a parpadear al encender el

aparato o mientras lo utiliza para indicar que es necesario cargar

el aparato (fig. 2).

Cuando esto sucede, aún queda suficiente carga en la batería para una

sesión de corte. Cuando la batería esté completamente descargada, no

se encenderán ni el motor ni los pilotos. En ese caso, puede utilizar el

aparato enchufado a la red.

Carga

Cuando comienza la carga del aparato, el piloto verde empieza a

parpadear (fig. 3).

Durante la carga, el piloto verde parpadeante indica el nivel de

carga de la batería en ese momento. La carga aún disponible en la

batería viene indicada por los pilotos verdes de carga encendidos

de forma continua (fig. 4).

Batería completamente cargada

Cuando la batería está completamente cargada, los tres pilotos verdes

inferiores se iluminan de forma continua y el piloto verde superior

parpadeará muy rápidamente.

Indicación de carga de la batería

Su barbero Philips dispone de una indicación de carga de la batería. Esta

indicación se muestra durante 5 segundos cada vez que se enciende o

apaga el aparato. El número de pilotos verdes iluminados indica la

cantidad de carga disponible enla batería.

Carga del aparato

Sólo modelo QT4080/QT4060: el aparato también se puede utilizar

enchufado directamente a la red (consulte el capítulo "Uso del

aparato", sección "Corte con el aparato enchufado a la red").

Cargue completamente el aparato antes de empezar a usarlo por

primera vez o tras un largo periodo sin usarlo.

1 Apague el barbero, enchúfelo a la red y espere unos segundos

antes de encenderlo de nuevo.

2 Si la batería está totalmente descargada, espere unos minutos

antes de encender el aparato.

Aspiración del pelo cortado

Al encender el aparato se activa automáticamente el sistema de

aspiración que recoge el pelo cortado mientras lo utiliza, tanto si está

cortando con o sin el peine-guía o perfilando el contorno. La guía

flexible sigue los contornos del rostro y dirige el pelo cortado hacia la

boquilla del mecanismo de aspiración.

Recomendamos que vacíe la cámara de recogida del pelo después de

cada sesión. Si recorta barbas densas y largas, puede que sea necesario

vaciar la cámara de recogida del pelo durante la misma sesión para

mantener una aspiración óptima (consulte el capítulo "Limpieza",

sección "Cámara de recogida del pelo").

Para garantizar el correcto funcionamiento del sistema de aspiración,

no corte más de unos 7 mm de longitud de barba de una vez. Si

desea una barba más corta, repita el proceso una o más veces.

Medio ambiente

Al final de su vida útil, no tire el aparato junto con la basura

normal del hogar. Llévelo a un punto de recogida oficial para su

reciclado. De esta manera ayudará a conservar el medio ambiente

(fig. 19).

La batería recargable incorporada contiene sustancias que pueden

contaminar el medio ambiente. Extraiga siempre la batería antes de

deshacerse del aparato o de llevarlo a un punto de recogida oficial.

Deposite la batería en un lugar de recogida oficial. Si no puede extraer

la batería, puede llevar el aparato a un servicio de asistencia técnica de

Philips, donde la extraerán y se desharán de ella de forma no perjudicial

para el medio ambiente.

Extracción de la batería

No vuelva a conectar el aparato a la red una vez que lo haya abierto.

doblándola o girándola varias veces hasta que se rompan las

conexiones (fig. 22).

4 ¿Se atasca la guía flexible delante de la unidad de corte? (fig. 23).

La guía transparente debe tener flexibilidad para poder adaptarse a

los contornos de la cara. Si se atasca porque hay pelos bloqueados en

la misma, elimínelos cuidadosamene con el cepillo que se suministra.

La guía debe ceder al tocarla con el dedo.

5 ¿Mueve el aparato en la dirección adecuada? (fig. 7).

Para obtener el mejor resultado de corte y aspiración, recomendamos

que mueva el barbero hacia arriba, en sentido contrario al de

crecimiento del pelo, con movimientos lentos y suaves.

Ricarica completa della batteria

Quando la batteria è completamente carica, le tre spie verdi poste in

basso rimangono accese mentre la spia verde in alto lampeggia

velocemente.

Indicazione capacità batteria

Il regolabarba Philips è dotato di un'indicazione della capacità della

batteria. Questa indicazione diventa visibile per 5 secondi ogni volta che

l'apparecchio viene acceso o spento. Il numero di spie verdi

lampeggianti indica la capacità disponibile della batteria.

Ricarica dell'apparecchio

Solo QT4080/QT4060: l'apparecchio può funzionare anche a corrente

(vedere il capitolo "Modalità d'uso dell'apparecchio" sezione

"Funzionamento a corrente").

Caricate completamente l'apparecchio la prima volta che viene

utilizzato o dopo un lungo periodo di inutilizzo.

1 Prima di ricaricare l'apparecchio, verificate che sia spento.

2 Inserite lo spinotto nell'apparecchio e la spina nella presa di

corrente.

Solo QT4080:

Se l'apparecchio è completamente scarico, ci vorrà circa un'ora

per ricaricare completamente la batteria. Nel caso la batteria sia

solo parzialmente scarica, sarà sufficiente un tempo di ricarica

inferiore.

Osservazioni per ottimizzare la durata della batteria

Non caricate l'apparecchio per più di 24 ore.

Non lasciate la spina sempre inserita nella presa di corrente.

Non ricaricate l'apparecchio fra le sessioni d'uso.

Due volte all'anno, scaricate completamente la batteria lasciando in

funzione il motore fino all'arresto. Quindi ricaricate completamente

la batteria.

Se l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato per un lungo periodo, è

necessario ricaricarlo completamente.

Predisposizione dell'apparecchio

Pettinate sempre barba o baffi con un pettine a denti stretti prima di

utilizzare l'apparecchio.

Modalità d'uso dell'apparecchio

Funzionamento a corrente (solo QT4080/QT4060)

Non mettete in funzione l'apparecchio con la spina inserita quando la

batteria è completamente carica.

Se la batteria è scarica, potete utilizzare l'apparecchio collegandolo alla

presa di corrente:

1 Spegnete il regolabarba, collegatelo alla presa di corrente e

attendete qualche secondo prima di accenderlo.

2 Se la batteria è completamente scarica, aspettate qualche minuto

prima di accendere l'apparecchio.

Aspirazione dei peli tagliati

Il sistema di aspirazione viene attivato automaticamente ogni volta che

accendete l'apparecchio. Questo sistema assorbe i peli tagliati in

qualsiasi condizione di utilizzo, con o senza pettine e per la rifinitura del

contorno viso. La guida flessibile segue i contorni del viso e spinge i peli

tagliati verso l'ugello del meccanismo di aspirazione.

Vi consigliamo di svuotare la vaschetta di raccolta peli al termine di ogni

sessione. Nel caso di barba particolarmente lunga e folta, potrebbe

essere necessario svuotare la vaschetta anche durante la sessione, per

ottenere sempre un risultato ottimale (vedere anche il capitolo "Pulizia",

sezione "Vaschetta di raccolta peli").

Per garantire un funzionamento ottimale del sistema di aspirazione, non

tagliate più di 7 mm di barba alla volta. Se desiderate accorciare

ulteriormente la barba, ripetete più volte la stessa operazione.

Come utilizzare il regolabarba con il pettine

1 Ruotate la ghiera di regolazione (Precision Zoom Lock`) in base

alla lunghezza desiderata (vedete la tabella) (fig. 6).

L'impostazione viene visualizzata nella finestra sotto la ghiera di

regolazione (Precision Zoom Lock`).

Se è la prima volta che utilizzate il regolabarba, iniziate con

l'impostazione per la lunghezza massima (9).

2 Per regolare la barba nel modo più efficace, fate scorrere il

regolabarba in senso opposto rispetto alla crescita dei peli. Non

muovete il regolabarba troppo velocemente. Cercate di compiere

movimenti delicati e uniformi e controllate che la superficie del

pettine sia sempre a contatto con la pelle (fig. 7).

4 Quando utilizzate il rifinitore di precisione, tenete l'apparecchio

Pulizia

L'apparecchio può essere pulito solo a secco.

Non pulite l'apparecchio con detergenti abrasivi, spugnette o liquidi

come alcool, benzina o acetone.

Non utilizzate mai oggetti duri o appuntiti per pulire il filtro, per

evitare di danneggiarlo.

Vaschetta di raccolta peli

1 Spegnete l'apparecchio.

2 Togliete la vaschetta di raccolta peli ed eliminate i peli depositati

scuotendola o utilizzando la spazzola in dotazione (fig. 14).

3 Per una pulizia ancora più accurata e per ottenere prestazioni

ottimali, scollegate il filtro.. (fig. 15).

4 ...e pulite con cura la vaschetta di raccolta peli e il filtro con

l'apposita spazzola (fig. 16).

Apparecchio

1 Rimuovete il pettine regolacapelli.

3 Pulite il blocco coltelli e la parte interna dell'apparecchio con

l'apposito spazzolino (fig. 17).

Sostituzione

I blocchi coltelli e i filtri danneggiati o usurati devono essere sostituiti

esclusivamente con pezzi di ricambio originali Philips, disponibili presso il

Tutela dell'ambiente

Per contribuire alla tutela dell'ambiente, non smaltite

l'apparecchio tra i rifiuti domestici ma consegnatelo a un centro

di raccolta ufficiale (fig. 19).

La batteria ricaricabile integrata contiene sostanze potenzialmente

nocive per l'ambiente. Rimuovete sempre la batteria prima di smaltire

l'apparecchio o di consegnarlo a un centro di raccolta ufficiale. Smaltite

la batteria in un apposito centro di raccolta. In caso di difficoltà durante

la rimozione della batteria, consegnate l'apparecchio a un centro di

assistenza Philips, che si occuperà della rimozione della batteria e dello

smaltimento dell'apparecchio.

Rimozione della batteria

Dopo aver aperto l'apparecchio, non collegarlo alla presa di corrente.

Per rimuovere la batteria, procedete indicato di seguito.

1 Scollegare l'apparecchio dalla presa di corrente e lasciarlo in

funzione fino al completo arresto.

2 Separare le due parti dell'apparecchio mediante un giravite (fig.

20).

3 Rimuovere il circuito stampato (fig. 21).

4 Estraete la batteria ricaricabile mediante un giravite e staccatela

piegandola o ruotandola fino a rompere il collegamento (fig. 22).

Risoluzione dei guasti

Il regolabarba non funziona quando lo accendo e non si accende

nessuna spia:

1 Se la batteria è completamente scarica, il regolabarba non

funziona e le spie non si accendono dopo aver acceso

l'apparecchio. Ricaricate completamente l'apparecchio (vedere il

capitolo "Ricarica").

Se il sistema di aspirazione del regolabarba non funziona o funziona

male, controllate i punti riportati di seguito.

2 La vaschetta di raccolta peli è vuota? (fig. 16).

Vi consigliamo di svuotare la vaschetta ogni volta che utilizzate

l'apparecchio. Nel caso di barba particolarmente lunga e folta,

potrebbe essere necessario svuotare la vaschetta durante la sessione

d'uso.

3 La vaschetta di raccolta peli o il filtro sono bagnati?

Questi componenti possono essere puliti solo a secco. Nel caso si

bagnassero accidentalmente, asciugateli con cura.

4 La guida flessibile posta davanti al blocco coltelli si è inceppata?

(fig. 23).

La guida trasparente deve essere flessibile per poter seguire i contorni

del viso. Se si inceppa perché ostruita dai peli, eliminate accuratamente

i peli mediante la spazzola in dotazione. La guida flessibile dovrebbe

cedere alla semplice pressione di un dito.

Indicações de carga (apenas QT4080)

Bateria fraca

Quando a capacidade da bateria descer abaixo do nível mínimo, a

luz indicadora vermelha de bateria fraca fica intermitente quando

liga o aparador ou durante a utilização, para indicar que o

aparelho precisa de ser recarregado (fig. 2).

Quando isto acontece, ainda existe energia suficiente na bateria para

mais uma utilização. Quando a bateria ficar totalmente vazia, nem o

motor arranca nem as luzes indicadoras se acendem. Neste caso, pode

funcionar com o aparador ligado directamente à corrente.

Carga

Quando se inicia a carga, a luz indicadora verde fica intermitente

(fig. 3).

Durante a carga, a luz indicadora verde intermitente indica o nível

de carga que a bateria tem nesse momento.A capacidade ainda

disponível na bateria é indicada pelas luzes verdes da bateria que

permanecem acesas continuamente (fig. 4).

Bateria completamente carregada

Quando a bateria está com carga total, as últimas três luzes verdes

ficam continuamente acesas e a luz indicadora verde superior pisca

com intensidade

Indicação da capacidade da bateria

O seu aparador de barba Philips está equipado com um indicador da

capacidade da bateria. Esta indicação fica visível durante 5 segundos

sempre que se liga ou desliga o aparelho. O número de luzes verdes

acesas indica a quantidade de energia disponível na bateria.

Carga do aparelho

Apenas QT4080/QT4060: O aparador também pode funcionar ligado

directamente à corrente (consulte o capítulo 'Utilização do aparelho',

secção 'Aparar com fio').

Carregue totalmente o aparelho antes da primeira utilização ou após

um prolongado período de inactividade.

1 Antes de começar a carga, certifique-se de que o aparelho está

desligado.

2 Introduza a ficha do aparelho no aparelho e coloque a ficha de

alimentação na tomada eléctrica.

Apenas QT4080:

bateria estiver completamente esgotada. Se a bateria ainda tiver

A bateria demora aprox. 10 horas a carregar totalmente, se a

bateria estiver completamente esgotada. Se a bateria ainda tiver

alguma capacidade, a carga total da bateria demora menos tempo.

Um aparelho com carga total possui uma autonomia de

funcionamento sem fio até 50 minutos.

Para apenas uma utilização, o aparelho deve ter estado em carga,

pelo menos, durante 90 minutos.

Optimização da vida útil da bateria recarregável

Depois de ter carregado o aparelho pela primeira vez, utilize-o até

esvaziar totalmente a bateria.

Não carregue o aparelho por mais de 24 horas.

Não mantenha a ficha de alimentação ligada à corrente

continuamente.

Não recarregue o aparelho entre utilizações.

Descarregue completamente a bateria duas vezes por ano

deixando o motor trabalhar até parar de funcionar. Em seguida,

volte a carregar a bateria.

Se o aparelho não for utilizado durante um período longo de

tempo, deve ser totalmente recarregado.

Preparação

Penteie sempre a barba ou o bigode com um pente fino antes de

começar a aparar.

Utilização do aparelho

Aparar com fio (apenas QT4080/QT4060)

Se o aparador estiver com carga total, não o utilize ligado à corrente.

Se a bateria estiver fraca, também pode utilizar o aparelho ligado à

corrente:

1 Desligue o aparador, ligue-o à corrente e aguarde alguns

2 Se a bateria estiver completamente vazia, aguarde alguns minutos

antes de ligar o aparelho.

Aspiração dos pêlos cortados

O sistema de sucção é activado automaticamente logo que se liga o

aparelho. Recolhe os pêlos cortados em todo o tipo de utilização, isto

é, aparando com ou sem o pente acessório e contornando. O pente-

guia flexível segue os contornos do rosto e encaminha os pêlos

cortados para a camara de recolha de pêlos.

É aconselhável esvaziar a câmara de recolha dos pêlos após cada

utilização do aparador. Se aparar barbas espessas durante muito tempo,

também poderá ser necessário esvaziar a câmara de recolha no

decurso da utilização por forma a manter o bom funcionamento do

sistema de sucção (consulte o capítulo 'Limpeza', secção 'Câmara de

recolha dos pêlos').

Para garantir sempre um óptimo desempenho do sistema de vácuo,

não apare mais do que cerca de 7 mm do comprimento total da

barba de uma só vez. Se quiser a barba mais curta, repita a operação

uma ou mais vezes.

Aparar com o pente acessório

1 Rode o anel de regulação (Precision Zoom Lock`) para o

comprimento de corte pretendido (consulte a tabela) (fig. 6).

A regulação seleccionada aparece na janela por baixo do anel de

regulação (Precision Zoom Lock`).

Se estiver a utilizar pela primeira vez, comece pelo comprimento

máximo (9).

2 Para aparar de forma mais eficaz, movimente o aparador no

sentido contrário ao comprimento dos pêlos. Não movimente o

aparador muito depressa. Faça movimentos ligeiros e suaves, e

certifique-se de que a superfície do pente está sempre em

contacto com a pele (fig. 7).

4 Quando estiver a utilizar o aparador de precisão, segure o

aparelho de forma a que o aparador fique virado para cima

Limpeza

O aparador só pode ser limpo a seco.

Não utilize produtos de limpeza abrasivos, desengordurantes ou

líquidos como álcool, petróleo ou acetona na limpeza do aparelho.

Nunca utilize objectos afiados ou duros para limpar o filtro para

evitar danos.

Câmara de recolha dos pêlos

1 Desligue o aparelho.

2 Retire a câmara de recolha dos pêlos e limpe os pêlos sacudindo-

os ou escovando-os para fora (fig. 14).

3 Para uma limpeza mais profunda e para manter sempre um poder

de sucção ideal, destaque o filtro.. (fig. 15).

4 ...e limpe cuidadosamente a câmara de recolha dos pêlos com a

escova fornecida (fig. 16).

Aparelho

1 Retire o pente acessório.

2 Retire a unidade de corte (fig. 11).

3 Limpe a unidade de corte e o interior do aparelho com a escova

fornecida (fig. 17).

4 Volte a colocar a unidade de corte e o pente acessório no

aparelho (fig. 18).

Substituição

As unidades de corte gastas ou danificadas, assim como os filtros, só

devem ser substituídos por peças Philips de origem que se encontram à

venda num revendedor ou nos centros de assistência Philips

autorizados.

Ambiente

Não deite fora o aparelho junto com o lixo doméstico normal no

final da sua vida útil, entregue-o num ponto de recolha oficial para

reciclagem.Ao fazê-lo ajuda a preservar o ambiente (fig. 19).

A bateria incorporada recarregável contém substâncias que podem

poluir o ambiente. Retire sempre a bateria antes de deitar fora o

aparelho ou de o entregar num ponto de recolha oficial. Elimine a

bateria num ponto de recolha oficial para baterias. Se tiver problemas

na remoção da bateria, pode também levar a máquina a um centro de

assistência Philips, que poderá remover a bateria por si e eliminá-la de

forma segura para o ambiente.

Remoção da bateria

Não volte a ligar o aparelho à corrente depois de ter sido aberto.

Siga os passos descritos a seguir para retirar a bateria.

1 Desligue o aparelho da corrente e deixe-o a trabalhar até o

motor parar.

2 Separe os dois corpos com a ajuda da chave de parafusos (fig. 20).

3 Puxe a placa com o circuito impresso (fig. 21).

4 Retire a bateria recarregável com o auxílio de uma chave de

parafusos e separe-a, dobrando-a ou rodando-a várias vezes até

partir as ligações (fig. 22).

Resolução de problemas

O aparador não funciona quando se liga e nenhuma das luzes se

acende:

1 Se a bateria estiver completamente vazia, o aparador não

funciona e as luzes não acendem quando se liga o aparelho.

Carregue o aparelho até ficar com carga total (consulte também

o capítulo 'Carga').

Se o sistema de sucção do aparador de barba para aspirar, funcionar

mal ou não funcionar, verifique os pontos a seguir indicados:

2 A câmara de recolha dos pêlos está vazia? (fig. 16).

É aconselhável esvaziar a câmara de recolha dos pêlos após cada

utilização do aparador. Se cortar barbas longas e densas, também

poderá ser necessário esvaziar a câmara de recolha no decurso da

utilização.

3 A câmara de recolha dos pêlos ou o filtro estão molhados?

Estas duas peças só podem ser limpas a seco. Se alguma destas peças

se molhar, seque-a cuidadosamente.

Pil zayıf iken

Düzelticiyi çalıştırdığınızda veya kullandığınız sırada pil kapasitesi

minimum seviyesinin altına indiğinde, kırmızı zayıf pil ışığı yanıp

sönmeye başlar ve cihazın şarj edilmesi gerektiğini belirtir (şek. 2).

Bu durumda, pilin sadece hâlâ bir seanslık kullanım gücü kalmıştır. Pil

tamamen bittiğinde, cihazın motoru çalışmaz ve hiçbir gösterge ışığı

yanmaz. Bu durumda, cihazın prize takarak kullanabilirsiniz.

Şarj etme

Cihaz şarj olduğu sırada yeşil ışıklar yanıp sönmeye başlayacaktır

(şek. 3).

Şarj sırasında yanan sönen yeşil ışıklar, o anda pillin hangi seviyede

şarj olduğunu belirtir. Pilin kullanılabilir kapasitesi, devamlı yanan

yeşil ışıklar ile gösterilir (şek. 4).

Pil tamamen dolu iken

Pil tamamen şarj olduğunda, en altta bulunan 3 yeşil ışık devamlı olarak

yanar ve üstteki yeşil pilot ışık en yüksek frekansta yanıp söner.

Philips sakal düzeltme cihazında pil kapasite göstergesi bulunmaktadır. Bu

gösterge, cihaz her açıldığında veya kapandığında 5 saniye görünür.Yanan

yeşil ışıklar kalan pil kapasitesini gösterir.

Cihazın şarj edilmesi

Sadece QT4080/QT4060: ghaz kablolu olarak da fişi prizde iken de

kullanılır. (bkz. 'Cihazın kullanılması' bölümü, "Kablolu kullanım" başlığı.)

Cihazı ilk defa kullanacaksanız veya uzun bir müddet kullanmadıysanız,

önce şarj edin.

1 Cihazı şarj etmeden önce kapalı konumda olduğundan emin olun.

2 Cihazın fişini cihaza takın ve ardından cihazın elektrik fişini prize

takın.

Sadece QT4080:

Pil tamamen doluyken cihazınızı elektrikle kullanmamanız tavsiye

edilir.

Şarj pilinin gücü azalmış ise, cihazı elektriğe bağlı olarak da

kullanabilirsiniz:

1 Düzelticiyi kapatın, cihazı tekrar çalıştırmadan önce fişini prize

takın ve birkaç saniye bekleyin.

2 Eğer pil tamamıyla boşsa, cihazı açmadan önce birkaç dakika

bekleyin.

Kesilen kılların hazneye toplanması

Cihazı çalıştırır çalıştırmaz, cihazın entegre emiş sistemi otomatik olarak

devreye girer. Sakal- bıyık-favori düzeltme, kısaltma gibi tarak aparatı

kullanarak, tarak aparatsız her çeşit kesimde, kesilen kılları emer. Oynar

başlık yüz çizgisini takip ederek kesilen sakalı vakum mekanizması yardımı

ile hazneye toplar.

Kıl haznesini her kullanımdan sonra boşaltmanızı tavsiye ederiz. Eğer

sakalınız uzun ve yoğun ise, seans aralarında kıl haznesini boşalmanız

emiş performansı açısından pozitif bir etki yaratacaktır (bkz. "Temizlik"

bölümü, " Kıl toplama haznesi" başlığı).

Değiştirme

Yıpranmış veya hasar görmüş kesici üniteleri ve filtreleri, sadece

satıcınızda veya yetkili Philips servis merkezlerinden temin edilebilen

orijinal Philips kesici üniteyle değiştirin.

Kullanım ömrü sonunda cihazı normal evsel atıklarınızla birlikte

atmayın; bunun yerine, geri dönüşüm için resmi yetkililere verin.

Bu sayede çevre korumasına yardımcı olursunuz (şek. 19).

Dahili şarj edilebilir pil, çevreyi kirletebilecek maddeler içermektedir.

Cihazı atmadan ya da resmi toplama noktasına teslim etmeden önce

mutlaka pili çıkartın. Pili, piller için resmi toplama noktasına teslim edin.

Pili çıkartmakta güçlük çekiyorsanız, cihazı bir Philips servis merkezine

verebilirsiniz. Burada pil sizin için çıkartılır ve çevreye zarar vermeyecek

Pilin çıkarılması

Cihazın içini açtıktan sonra fişini prize takmayın.

Aşağıdaki adımları uygulayarak pili çıkarın.

1 Cihazın fişini prizden çekin ve cihazın motoru durana kadar cihazı

çalıştırın.

2 İki muhafaza parçasını bir tornavida yardımıyla birbirinden ayırın

(şek. 20).

3 Baskılı devre kartını dışarıya doğru çekin (şek. 21).

4 Tornavida ile şarj pilini yerinden çıkartın ve bağlantı noktaları

ayrılana kadar birkaç kez çevirin veya kıvırın (şek. 22).

Sorun giderme

Cihaz açma konumunda çalışmıyor ve ışıkların hiçbiri yanmıyor:

1 Pil tamamen boşsa, düzeltici çalışmaz ve cihaz açıldığında ışıklar

yanmaz.Tamamen şarj olana kadar cihazı şarj edin (ayrıca bkz. 'Şarj

etme' bölümü).

Cihazın emme sistemi zayıf çalışıyorsa veya hiç çalışmıyorsa, aşağıdaki

maddeleri kontrol edin.

2 Sakal toplama haznesi boş mu? (şek. 16).

Cihazı her kesim seansından sonra sakal toplama haznesini boşaltın.

Eğer sakal çok uzun ise, seans aralarında da boşaltmanız gerekebilir.

3 Sakal toplama haznesi veya filtre ıslak mı?

Sakal toplama haznesi veya filtre temizlenirken kesinlikle kuru olmalıdır.

Bu parçalardan birisi ıslanmışsa, kurularken çok dikkatli olun.

4 Kesme ünitesine takılı oynar sakal başlığı sıkışmış mı? (şek. 23).

Şeffaf oynar sakal başlığı yüzün çizgilerine uyumlu olması açısından

hareket etmek zorundadır. Eğer kıllar başlığa takılır ve hareket

etmemesine neden olursa, temizleme fırçası ile dikkatlice başlığı

temizleyin. Oynar başlığın, parmağınızın küçük bir hareketi ile hareket

edecek durumda olması gerekir.

5 Cihazı optimum yönde hareket ettiriyor musunuz? (şek. 7).

İyi ve doğru bir kesim ve emiş performansının yüksek olması açısından,

düzelticiyi yukarı doğru, kılların büyüme yönünün aksine yavaş ve hassas

bir şekilde hareket ettirin.
