1. Do not use pla stic fle xible duc t to e xha ustthe drye r. Exc e ssive lint c a n build up  
inside syste m a nd c re a te a fire ha za rd a nd re stric t a ir flow. Re stric te d a ire xha ust  
flow will inc re a se drye r tim e s. If your pre se nt syste m is m a de up of pla stic duc t or  
m e ta l foil duc t, re pla c e it with a rigid or fle xible m e ta l duc t. Ensure pre se nt duc t  
is fre e of a ny lint prior to insta lling drye r duc t.  
2. If the drye r is not e xha uste d out doors, som e fine lint will be e xpe lle d  
into the la undry a re a . An a c c um ula tion of lint in a ny a re a of the hom e c a n  
c re a te a he a lth a nd fire ha za rd. To re duc e risk of fire , drye r MUST BE  
EXHAUSTED OUTDOORS.
