CAUTION : This telephone product is specifically designed for people
with hearing difficulties and is provided with a handset earpiece
volume switch for individual requirements. Due care must be taken
by all users that the handset earpiece volume switch is set to the
lowest level acceptable by each respective user. Care should therefore
be exercised to ensure that any naive users are familiar with this
requirement.

OPERATION
1 - LAST NUMBER REDIAL (

If the telephone number you have called is
engaged or if you want to repeat the call to
the number you dialled previously, lift the
handset, await dial tone and press the
button. The previously dialled number will
beAUTOMATICALLY RE-DIALLED. Up to
31 digits can be stored in the redial memory.
For some Network services (home banking)

CAUTION : when the ringer has been set
to the Off setting (digit 0), an incoming
call will be indicated by the handset
strobe light flashing. The ringer will be
automatically returned to the previous
setting (1 to 9) when the handset is lifted
from the base unit.
3 - RECALL, S & # BUTTONS
These are used with the new services
provided on digital exchanges. For details
please contact your Network operator.
To set new ringer tone:

adjusted by moving the Volume switch,
located above the handset microphone, to

7 - STORING TELEPHONE NUMBERS
a) 'One touch' locations
1. Ensure telephone is plugged into
telephone socket and lift handset.
2. Press
button.
3. Press one of the 'One touch' direct
memory buttons, M1, M2 or M3.
4. Dial the telephone number you wish to
store.
5. Press the
button again.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for the remaining two
'One touch' locations.

7. Replace handset.
5 - USING THE TELEPHONE
b) 'Two touch' locations
Having connected the telephone to the
telephone socket, lift the handset, await dial
tone, and dial required number. On
completion of the call, carefully replace
handset in cradle.
1. Ensure that telephone is plugged into
telephone socket and lift handset.
2. Press
button.
3. Press MEM button.
4. Press any button 0 to 9 on the keypad
under which you wish to store the telephone
number.
6 - MEMORY OPERATION
Your telephone can store up to 3 'One
touch', and 10 'Two touch' telephone
numbers. Each telephone number must
be stored in a specific memory location and
can be up to 21 digits long. If you wish to
store a number having more than 21 digits
(as may be required, for example, by
international numbers preceded by a 3 or
4 digit national operator access code), it is
suggested that the 3 or 4 digit access code
is stored in a 'One touch' location and the
international number stored in any other
location.
5. Dial the telephone number you wish to
store.
6. Press the
button again.
7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 for any other
numbers you wish to store allocating a
different keypad number for each and then
replace the handset.
8 - DIALLING STORED TELEPHONE
NUMBERS
a) 'One touch' locations - Lift handset,
await dial tone and press appropriate direct
memory button M1, M2 or M3. The stored
number will be dialled out automatically.
Note : Numbers stored in the memory may
be lost if the telephone is disconnected from
the telephone line.

b) 'Two touch' locations - Lift handset,
await dial tone. press the MEM button
followed by the keypad button under which
the desired number is stored. The stored
number will be dialled out automatically.
c) To dial a number partly stored in a 'One
touch' location (such as an access code)
with the remaining part in another location,
lift handset and press the 'One touch'
location button under which the 3 or 4 digit
access code is stored and then either
press:
(i)The 'One touch' location button where the
remainder of the number is stored, or
(ii) The MEM button followed by the location
button 0-9 under which the remainder of
the number is stored.

memory location, simply follow the
instructions for storing a number. Entering

9 - WALL MOUNTING
Use this template to mark the screw hole
centres. Slide out, turn around and slide
back in the wall mounting handset clip
(which can be found in the base unit, just
below where the ear peice locates), this
ensures that the handset stays firmly in
position.

INSTALLATION
UTILISATION
1 - RACCORDEMENT
Branchez le conjoncteur téléphonique
dans la prise téléphonique murale.

Lorsque le téléphone sonne, décrochez le
combiné pour parler à votre correspondant.
2 - SONNERIE
1 - Un commutateur situé au dessus du
microphone permet d’activer (On) ou de
désactiver la sonnerie (Off).
2 - APPELER
- Décrochez le combiné.
- Composez le numéro de votre
correspondant.
- La conversation terminée, raccrochez le
combiné pour libérer la ligne.
2 - Si la mélodie de sonnerie ne vous
convient pas, sélectionnez un nouveau
réglage parmi les 9 proposés ci-dessous:

mémorisés par cette fonction.)
N.B. : Dans certain cas (services spéciaux),
il est nécessaire d’insérer une pause dans
la composition du numéro en mémoire.

réinsérer.
Cette touche permet de couper
ponctuellement le microphone en cours de

chiffre de 0 à 9 pour enregistrer votre
numero en mémoire indirecte.
- Appuyez et relachez la touche , votre
correspondant ne vous entend plus.
- Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche
pour réablir la conversation.
- Composez le numéro à mémoriser.
- Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche

6 - REGLAGE DU VOLUME DE
L’ECOUTEUR
ATTENTION : ce téléphone peut être destiné
aux personnes ayant des problèmes d’audition.
Il possède un écouteur à volume variable. A la
première utilisation, assurez-vous que le
commutateur de réglage du volume soit
positionné au minimum. Les personnes
malentendantes pourront par la suite augmenter

Le réglage de l’écouteur s’effectue par
l’interrupteur situé au dessus du microphone :
8 - APPEL D’UN NUMERO EN MEMOIRE
- Décrochez le combiné.
- Appuyez sur une des touches M1, M2 ou
M3, le numéro en mémoire se recompose
automatiquement.
Ou appuyez sur la touche MEM suivi du
chiffre de la mémoire choisie (0 à 9), le
numéro en mémoire indirecte se recompose
automatiquement.

7 - MEMORISER UN NUMERO DE
TELEPHONE
Votre téléphone possède 13 mémoires (3
directes, 10 indirectes, 21 chiffres
maximum par mémoire).
Les numéros seront perdus si vous
déconnectez votre téléphone de la prise
téléphonique murale.
Un nouvel enregistrement dans une
mémoire efface la précédente.
- Décrochez le combiné.
Cette garantie s'exerce sous réserve
d'une utilisation normale de l'appareil.
Les dommages occasionnés par les surtensions
électriques, la foudre ou par un choc sur l'appareil
ne peuvent en aucun cas être couverts par la
garantie.
