4. With the Monito r la ying sc re e n-sid e d own on a sm oo th, c le a n surfa c e ,

flip op e n the Monitor b a se.

5. Conne c t the 15-p in VGA Ca b le to the Mo nitor’s “VGA” c onne c to r.

6. Conne c t the 15-p in VGA Ca b le to yo ur Co m p ute r.

Using yo ur fing e rs, ha nd -tig hte n the sc re ws o n the 15-Pin

c o nne c to rs.

7. Plug the Audio Ca b le into the Monitor’s “AUD IN” c o nne c tor.

To use a he a d se t, p lug the he a d se t into “AUD

O UT” c onne c tor o n the Mo nito r.

8. Conne c t the Aud io Ca b le to yo ur Com p ute r a t the sp e a ke r c a rd

lo c a tion.

9. If yo u a re not c o nne c ting a ny m ore c o m p one nts (e .g . C ATV, DVD or

VCR), c o ntinue with the re m a ining ste p s.

If yo u a re c o nne c ting othe r c o m p o ne nts to the Monito r, c o ntinue to

the ne xt a p p ro p ria te ly la b e le d “C ONNECTING ” se c tion.

13. Plug in the Powe r Cord s for b oth the Mo nitor a nd Co m p ute r to the wa ll

14. Turn ON b oth the Mo nito r a nd Co m p ute r.

15. Re m ove the p la stic prote c tive c ove r from the front o f the Monito r.

16. Pre ssing e ithe r the SELEC T b utton o n the fro nt of the Mo nitor (p a g e 12)

or the SOURCE b utto n o n the Re m o te C ontrol (p a g e 15), sc roll to the

ANALOG Inp ut So urc e op tion.

Inse rt the b a tte ry into the Re m o te C o ntrol.

17. Inse rt the Se t-up Disk into your Com p ute r’s CD slo t a nd fo llow the

instruc tions o n p a g e 27.

18. If ne c e ssa ry, fine -tune the d ispla y b y using the On Sc re e n Disp la y

(OSD) m e nus (im a g e p o sitio n, b rig htne ss, a nd othe r ite m s).
