IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ INSTRUCTIONS - All safety and operating instructions should be read before the unit is operated.
1. The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
2. Do not store or use the LCD monitor in locations that are exposed to heat, direct sunlight, or extreme cold.
3. Avoid moving the LCD monitor between locations with large temperature differences.
4. Do not subject the LCD monitor to severe vibration or high impact conditions. For example, do not place the LCD
monitor inside a car trunk.
5. Keep flat panel monitor in room temperature conditions. Excessive cold or hot conditions can have an adverse
effect on the liquid crystal of the display.

6. Never insert anything metallic into the monitor openings. Doing so may create the danger of electric shock.
7. To avoid electric shock, never touch the inside of the monitor. Only a qualified technician should open the
monitor case.
8. Never use your monitor if the power cable has been damaged. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cable.
Keep the power cable away from where people could trip over it.
9. Be sure to grasp the plug, not the cable, when disconnecting the monitor from an electric outlet.
10. Openings in the monitor cabinet are provided for ventilation. To prevent overheating, these openings should not
be blocked or covered. Avoid using the monitor on a bed, sofa, rug, or other soft surface, as doing so may block
the ventilation openings in the bottom of the cabinet. If you place the monitor in a bookcase or an enclosed
space, be sure to provide adequate ventilation and air flow.
11. Place your monitor in a location with low humidity and minimum dust. Avoid places similar to a damp basement
or dusty hallway.
12. Do not expose the monitor to rain or use it near water (in kitchens, next to swimming pools, etc.). If the monitor
accidentally gets wet, unplug it and contact an authorized dealer immediately. You can clean the monitor with a
damp cloth when necessary, being sure to unplug the monitor first.
13. Place the monitor on a solid surface and treat it carefully. The screen is made of glass and can be damaged if
dropped or hit sharply.
14. Locate your monitor near an easily accessible electric outlet.
15. If your monitor does not operate normally - in particular, if there are any unusual sounds or smells coming from it
- unplug it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or service center.
16. Do not attempt to remove the back cover while the monitor is plugged into an electric outlet, as you will be
exposed to an electrical shock hazard. The back cover should only be removed by qualified service personnel.
17. Unplug the monitor when it is going to be left unused for an extended period of time.
18. Hg Lamp(s) inside this product contains mercury and must be recycled or disposed of according to local, state

Connecting the Monitor
The e-Series LCD monitor can be used with your video surveillance system and connects
to a number of external devices, such as a DVR, VCR or camera.

Turns the power ON or OFF. There may be
a few seconds delay before the display
appears.

Mutes the sound.

Controls and Functions
Front Panel Controls
The options available on the front of the LCD monitor mirror those of the remote control.

1. SOURCE
Selects the input source and moves from the previous menu.
2. MENU
Activates and exits the On Screen Display (OSD).
It can also be used to move from the previous menu or status.
OSD Menu(MAIN): Input Source, Screen, Audio, OSD, Color, Utility, Exit.
3. DOWN
From the main menu, this button enables you to enter the sub-menu of the activated
function.
4. UP
Enter the sub-menu of the activated function.
5. VOL<
Adjust menu settings and volume.
6. VOL>
Adjust menu setting and volume.
7. IR Sensor
Remote control sensor. Ensure that this sensor does not get obstructed.
8. POWER
Turns the LCD monitor power on or off. The power LED (next to the power switch) is
green when the power is turned ON and the LED turns Red when the power is
turned off.

Increase or decrease the intensity of the image.
Contrast
Increase or decrease the intensity (lightness or dimness) of the image.
H. position (PC Mode Only)
Move image horizontally on screen right or left.
V. position (PC Mode Only)
Move image vertically on screen up or down.
Clock (PC Mode Only)
Adjust the vertical noise of screen image.

Phase (PC Mode Only)
Adjust the number of horizontal picture elements.

Adjust audio volume.

H. Position
Move the OSD position to right('X') or left('W').
V. Position
Move the OSD position to up('▲') or down('▼').
Transparency
Select the OSD background.
OSD Timer
Select the OSD display timing.
Language
Select a language among English, Français, Deutsch, Español, Danish, Italiano.

Adjust color temperature to 9300, 6500, user. (note : 9300 is factory default)

Adjust red color for user.

Lock
Select ON or OFF (ON : Control key lock. OFF : Control key unlock)

Power Management
This LCD monitor features a power management system to power down upon receipt of
a VESA DPMS (Display Power Management Signaling) from a VESA DPMS video card.
This monitor enters an appropriate mode through identifying each of the three modes of
the signaling system.The stage that the power management system is in is indicated by
the LED on the monitor.

Troubleshooting
No image is displayed on screen.
Issue:

Check that the power cord has been connected securely into the
wall outlet or grounded extension cable or surge protector.
