All Manuals Search And Download.   Battery Charging   Important Notes   2 • Before charging the battery,   examine the battery case for   cracks and other damage which   may cause sulfuric acid (elec-   trolyte) to leak during the charg-   ing process. (If power   flow to the wall outlet is con-   trolled by a switch, make sure   the switch is ON.)   detected, do not charge the   battery or use it in your vehicle.   Battery acid is very corrosive   and can cause severe damage   to surfaces it contacts.   3 • Do not charge the battery on a   surface which could be dam-   aged by the acid contained   inside the battery. Take precau-   tions to protect the surface on   which you charge your battery.   • The battery must be upright   while charging. You do not   need to remove the battery   from your vehicle to charge it.   • Charge a new battery at least   18 hours before first use.   Recharge the battery at least   14 hours after each use.   The charger may become warm   to the touch while charging.   A new battery may make a "siz-   zling" or "bubbling" noise and   swell slightly. These are normal   conditions and do not indicate   a problem.   IMPORTANT! All Manuals Search And Download.   Battery Charging   Limited Warranty   For the original purchaser, this one   year limited warranty covers the   Power Wheels® Single Battery 12-Volt   Charger (purchased from Power   Wheels®) against defects in materials   and workmanship.   4 • After charging, unplug the   charger from the wall outlet.   • Unplug the charger connector   from the battery. Your battery   is now charged and is ready to   be installed in your vehicle.   Please refer to your vehicle's   Owner's Manual for Battery   Installation instructions. If your   battery is already installed in   your vehicle, plug the vehicle's   motor harness connector into   the battery and secure the bat-   tery compartment.   This warranty covers normal use and   does not cover the Power Wheels®   Single Battery 12-Volt Charger if dam-   aged by unreasonable use, neglect,   accident, abuse, misuse, improper ser-   vice or other causes not arising out of   defects in materials or workmanship.   Evidence at any attempt at consumer   repair will void this warranty. This war-   ranty does not cover, and is intended to   exclude, any liability on the part of   Power Wheels®, whether under this   warranty or implied by law for any indi-   rect or consequential damages or   breach of warranty.
