PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE
TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
(a) Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-door operation can result in harmful
exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
(b) Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue
to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
(c) Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door close
properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) door (bent),(2) hinges and latches
(broken or loosened),(3)door seals and sealing surfaces.
(d) The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service personnel.

Do not overcook food. Carefully attend the appliance if paper, plastic, or other combustible
materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking .
Do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes. Do not store combustible items such as bread,
cookies, paper products, cooking utensils, etc. inside the oven.
Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from paper or plastic containers, or bags
before placing them in the oven.
This oven must be grounded. Connect only to properly grounded outlet.

Some products such as whole eggs, water with oil or fat, sealed containers and closed glass
jars may explode and therefore should not be heated in this oven.

14. More/Less (Más/menos):
Permite “agregar” o “quitar” tiempo de cocción ( aprox. un 7%) a cualquier programa de cocción.

SAFE AND PROPER USE OF YOUR OVEN
• The oven must be level.
• The glass turntable and turntable roller guide must be in the oven at all times during cooking.
• Gently place cookware on the turntable and exercise caution during handling to avoid possible breakage.
• The oven has several built-in safety switches to ensure that the power remains off when the door is open.
NOTE: Do not tamper with these switches.
• Do not operate the microwave oven empty. Operating the microwave oven with no food or food that is
extremely low in moisture can cause fire, charring and/or sparking.
• Do not cook foods directly on the turntable. Excessive local heating of the turntable
may cause the turntable to break.
• Do not heat baby bottles or baby food in the microwave oven. Uneven heating may occur
and could cause physical injury.
• Do not heat narrow-necked containers or bottles.
• Do not attempt to deep-fry in microwave oven.
• Do not do home canning in this microwave oven as it is impossible to be sure all contents
of the jar reached boiling temperature.
• Do not use this microwave oven for commercial purposes. This microwave oven
is made for household use only.
To prevent delayed eruptive boiling of hot liquids and beverages and prevent possible scalding, stir liquids and
beverages before placing the container in the oven and again halfway through the cooking time. Let stand in
the oven for a short time and stir again before removing the container.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an
electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of
electric shock by providing an escape wire for electric
current. This appliance is equipped with a cord
having a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is
properly installed and grounded.
Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the
grounding instructions are not completely understood
or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is
properly grounded. If it is necessary to use an
extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that
has a 3-pronged grounding plug, and a 3-slot
receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance.
The marked rating of the extension cord shall be
equal to or greater than the electrical rating
of the appliance.

Countertop Installation
1. Select a level surface that provides enough open space for air intake and/or outlet vents.
• Aminimum clearance of 7.5 cm (3") is required between the oven and any adjacent wall.
One side must be open.
• Leave a minimum clearance of 30 cm (12") above the oven.
• Do not remove the legs from the bottom of the oven.
• Blocking the air intake and/or outlet openings can damage the oven .
• Place the oven as far away as possible from radios and TV's.
• Operation of microwave oven may cause interference to your radio or TV reception.
2. Plug your oven into a standard 120-volt/60-Hz household outlet. Be sure the electrical circuit is
protected by a fuse and/or circuit breaker of at least 15 amperes and that your microwave oven is the only
appliance on the circuit.
WARNING: Do not install this oven over a range, cook-top, or other heat-producing appliance. If installed
near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and void the manufacturers warranty.

Safety interlock system: Shuts off oven power if door is opened during operation
TURNTABLE INSTALLATION

Place the roller rest on the cavity bottom.
Make sure the turntable shaft is installed inside the hole in the (center) cavity bottom.
Place the turntable on top of the roller rest as shown in the diagram. Make sure the turntable
hub is properly positioned on the turntable shaft.
• Never place the turntable upside down. The turntable should never be restricted.
• Both turntable and roller rest must always be used during cooking.
• All foods and containers of food should always be placed on the turntable for cooking.
• When cooking is finished the light and fan turn off automatically, followed by an
end of cooking signal. (5 beeps)
• The turntable is designed to rotate in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction;
this is normal.
• If turntable or roller rest cracks or breaks, contact your nearest authorized service center.
Remove all packing material and accessories. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or
broken door. Do not install the oven if it is damaged.
NOTE: This unit is designed to operate on a 120-volt/60-Hz AC circuit.
Cabinet: Remove any protective film found on the cabinet surface.
Do not remove the light brown Mica cover that is screwed to the oven cavity
(right side wall) to protect the magnetron.

COOKING PRINCIPLES AND TECHNIQUES
The advantages of microwave cooking are speed and efficiency.
For warming, heating, and defrosting, nothing compares. Here are a few tips that will make microwave
cooking easier and more enjoyable.
Microwave Cooking Principles:
Because microwave cooking requires only one-quarter to one-third the time of conventional cooking, the same
cooking principles become even more important.
Quantity:
During microwave cooking, the cooking time is dependent on the amount of food placed inside the oven.
If you double the recipe, plan on doubling the cooking time.
Density:
Dense foods, such as potatoes, need more cooking time as it takes longer for microwave energy to penetrate
and conduct heat through them.
Shape and Size:
Cut food into uniform shapes and sizes for even cooking. When cooking irregular shapes (such as chicken
pieces), place the thicker parts to the outer edge of the dish.
Cooking Time:
Food high in moisture, sugar or fat cook faster. Add a minimum amount of liquid to moisten foods. An excess
amount of water will slow the cooking process.
Starting Temperature:
Frozen or refrigerated foods take longer to microwave than food at room temperature.
Delicate Ingredients:
Delicate foods such as eggs, cheese, mayonnaise, etc., cook very quickly, and should be watched carefully.
Microwave Cooking Techniques:
Arranging: Arrange food in a circular pattern, with denser, thicker portions facing toward the
outer edge of the dish.
Piercing: Pierce the membrane of foods such as eggs, oysters, snails, sausages, liver,
clams and whole vegetables, so they do not burst.
Re-heating: Cooked foods reheat extremely well using a lower power level of microwave energy. Place
denser foods near the outer edge of the dish when re-heating.
Covering: Most foods will cook and reheat better when covered. Keep the cover loose (not tight) Always
pierce plastic wraps to allow steam to vent.
Stirring: It is recommended to occasionally stir foods during cooking, as this will help
food cook more quickly and evenly.
Turning Over: To promote even cooking, turn larger solid items such as roasts or baked potatoes over,
halfway through the cooking time.
Standing Time: Foods continue cooking even after removal from the oven. Standing time is necessary to
allow foods to complete cooking/defrosting.
Converting Recipes: Microwave recipes will likely call for less liquid and cooking
time than conventional cooking.
Microwave Thermometers: For best results, a microwave-safe thermometer can be carefully and properly
inserted into the food. Keep in mind that standing time is essential for most food to reach its proper serving
temperature.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Exterior
The outside surface (cabinet) is painted. Clean the outer cabinet with mild soap and water. Rinse and dry with
a soft cloth. Do not use any type of household or abrasive cleaner.
Wipe the oven window on both sides with a damp cloth to remove any spills or spatters. Wipe the front side of
the door with a cloth dampened slightly with water only. Dry with a soft cloth. Do not scrub or use any
chemical cleaners. Metal parts will be easier to maintain if wiped frequently with a damp cloth. Avoid the use
of spray cleaners and other harsh cleaners as they may stain, streak or dull the door surface.
• Interior
Cleaning is easy because little heat is generated on the interior surfaces;
To clean the interior surfaces, use a soft cloth and water. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE OR HARSH CLEANERS
OR SCOURING PADS. For heavily soiled areas, use baking soda or a mild soap. Wipe thoroughly with a cloth
soaked in hot water. NEVER SPRAY OVEN CLEANERS DIRECTLY ONTO ANY PART(S) OF THE OVEN
CAVITY.
• Glass Turntable/Turntable Support
The turntable and turntable support can be removed for easy cleaning. Wash them in mild, sudsy water. For
stubborn stains use a mild cleanser and non-abrasive scouring sponge. They can also be washed in your
dishwasher. Use upper rack of dishwasher. The turntable motor shaft is not sealed, so excess water or spills
should be wiped up immediately.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.To Set the Clock:
When the microwave oven is first plugged into wall outlet, the oven
display will begin by flashing "0: 00" and beep once.
a) Press the number keys to enter the correct time of day. EXAMPLE;
if the current time is 10:12 press the number keys "1,0,1,2" these
numbers will appear in the display in the same sequence as entered.
(each time a key is pressed, a signal /beep will sound)
b) Press the "Clock/Auto Cook" key to register the time of day setting.
The colons ":" will start flashing indicating the clock is now
set and operational.
NOTE: This is a 12 hour clock system from 1:00 to 12:59. If you
accidentally input the wrong time, disconnect and re-connect the power
cord and repeat the clock setting procedure. If the time of day clock is
not set before starting a cooking program, the number "0"
will appear in the display after the program is finished.

2. Auto Defrost By Weight:
Microwave Oven automatically calculates defrost time based on weight entered.
Please refer to the below chart for details.

a) Press the "Auto Defrost" key, the display will show the available defrost programs.
Press the "Auto Defrost" key repeatedly to scroll through the available programs.
b) Press the number keys to enter the weight of the food in lbs. Example, 0.8lb, press "8"
or 2.5lb, press "2" & "5". (each time a key is depressed, a signal/beep will sound) If a
wrong weight is entered or you want to enter a new weight, press the "Stop/Clear" key
and repeat steps " a & b". The (red) indicator light for "Weight" & "lb." along with the
weight entered will appear in the display.
c) Press the "Start" key to start the defrost program. The (red) indicator light (Defrost)
"Weight" & "lb" will go off and the (red) indicator light (Defrost) "Time" will begin to flash.
The microwave oven automatically calculates defrost time (based on food weight and
defrost program selection) and is shown in the display. The timer countdown begins as
soon as the "Start" key is pressed. At the end of the program, a signal/beep will sound
(5 times) indicating the program is finished.
3. One Stage Microwave Cooking:
Allows you to cook using one power level only.
NOTE: Unless a lower power level is selected, the microwave oven is programmed to
operate at full (100%) power.

countdown begins. At the end of the program, a signal/beep will sound (5 times)
indicating the program is finished.

4. Two Stage Microwave Cooking:
Allows you to program two different power levels and two different cooking times
within the same cooking program.
STAGE 1:
a) Press "Power" key once to select "Stage 1" cooking, the (red) indicator light and
PH 1 are displayed.
b) Press "Power" key repeatedly to select appropriate (Stage 1) power level.
c) Enter (Stage 1) cooking time by pressing number keys in sequence.
Example: if you want a cooking time of 10:00, press 1,0,0,0.
STAGE 2:
d) Press "Power" key again to select "Stage 2" cooking, the (red) indicator
light and PH 1 are displayed.
e) Press "Power" key repeatedly to select appropriate (Stage 2) power level.
f) Enter (Stage 2) cooking time by pressing number keys in sequence.
Example: if you want a cooking time of 5:15, press 5,1,5.
g) Press "Start" key, the (red) indicator light (Stage 1) starts flashing and the
cooking time (Stage 1) starts countdown.
After "Stage 1" is complete, the (red) indicator light turns off, a
signal/beep sounds "twice" and "Stage 2" program automatically starts.
The (red) indicator light starts flashing and the cooking time (Stage 2) starts
countdown. When the "Stage 2" program is complete, the (red) indicator light
turns off and a signal/beep will sound (5 times) indicating the program is finished.
NOTE: You can cancel the "Stage 1/ Stage 2" cooking program any time during
operation, by pressing the "Stop/Clear" key twice. Pressing the "Stop/Clear" key
"once" will pause the program only.
5. Popcorn:
Allows you to cook two different sizes of packaged popcorn.

displayed and the timer countdown begins.
NOTE: We recommend that you do not leave the microwave oven unattended
during popcorn program. When the intervals of the popping (between kernels)
start to noticeably slow down, stop the program, even if there is still time remaining
in the program display. It is better to leave some kernels un-popped, rather than

NOTE: You can also use this feature (anytime) during oven operation of all programs.
Each depression of the "Quick On" key will add 1 minute to the time remaining in any
program display.

14. More/Less:
Allows you "add" or "reduce" cooking time (by approx. 7%) from any selected cooking program.
NOTE: This feature can only be used before the "Start" key is pressed putting the oven into operation.

15. Auto Start Cooking Function:
Allows you to pre-program a delayed start time for your recipe.
a) The time of day clock must be set before you can program the "Auto Cook" feature.
EXAMPLE; If the current time is 12:00, press the number keys "1,2,0,0" and the
numbers appear in the display in the same sequence as entered. (each time a key is
pressed, a signal /beep will sound)
b) Press the "Clock/Auto Cook" key to register the time of day setting entered. The colons ":"
will start flashing indicating the clock is now set and operational.
c) Press the "CLOCK/Auto Cook" key to enter the "AUTO" start time mode, the (red)
indicator light "AUTO" and "0" are displayed.
d) Enter the "AUTO" start time by pressing the number keys in sequence.
EXAMPLE: 1:15 press number keys 1,1,5 these numbers will appear in the display.
(each time a key is pressed, a signal /beep will sound)
e) Press the "POWER LEVEL" key repeatedly to enter the power level needed to cook the
recipe during the "AUTO" program. EXAMPLE: 6 TIMES = PL5 = 50% POWER
f) Press the "Number" keys in sequence to establish the length of the cooking program
during the "AUTO" program.
EXAMPLE 2:00 press 2,0,0. The time will appear in the display.
g) Press the "START" key, the (red) indicator light "AUTO" will start flashing and the
"Auto Start" time will be replaced by the current time of day in the display.
NOTE: If you want to check the time the "AUTO" program is scheduled to start,
press the "CLOCK/Auto Cook" key and the "AUTO" start time will temporarily appear in
the display (few seconds) then revert back to the current time of day.

16. Child Safe Lock:
Allows you to lock-out all operating functions of the microwave oven to prevent
unsupervised children from operating the unit.
a) To activate the "Child Safe Lock", press the "Stop/Clear" key 5 times.
The (red) indicator light "LOCK" will appear in the display.
b) To deactivate the "Child Safe Lock", press the "Stop/Clear" key 5 times.
The (red) indicator light will disappear from the display.
17. Inquiry:
Allows you to view the time of day clock, while the unit is operational.
a) To view the time of day, (during operation) press the "CLOCK/Auto Cook" key once.
The current time of day will temporarily appear in the display (2 seconds) before
reverting back to the original program countdown
NOTE: Once a program setting is executed and no further action is taken within
5 minutes of executing the setting, the unit will automatically return (default) to the
time of day clock. A signal/beep will sound signifying this action is complete.

MISES EN GARDE CONTRE L’EXPOSITION
POSSIBLE À UNE ÉNERGIE MICRO-ONDE EXCESSIVE
(a) Ne tentez pas d’utiliser ce four lorsque la porte est ouverte, car vous pourriez être exposé à une énergie
micro-onde dangereuse. Il est important de ne pas tenter de modifier ou d’éliminer les verrous de sécurité.
(b) Ne placez pas d’objets entre l’avant et la porte du four, et assurez-vous que les surfaces d’étanchéité ne
comprennent aucun résidu accumulé.
(c) N’utilisez pas le four s’il est endommagé. Il est particulièrement important que la porte du four se ferme de
façon appropriée et qu’il n’y ait aucun dommage aux pièces suivantes : (1) porte (voûtée),(2) charnières et
verrous (brisés ou lâches) et (3)joints d’étanchéité de la porte et surfaces d’étanchéité.

Vous devez respecter certaines consignes de base lorsque vous utilisez des appareils électriques,

à une énergie micro-onde excessive, veuillez respecter les directives suivantes :
1. Lisez toutes les instructions avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
2. Lisez et respectez les « MISES EN GARDE POUR ÉVITER UNE EXPOSITION POSSIBLE
À UNE ÉNERGIE MICRO-ONDE EXCESSIVE » ci-dessus.
3. Comme pour la plupart des appareils de cuisson, une supervision attentive est nécessaire
pour réduire les risques d’incendie à l’intérieur du four.
En cas d’incendie à l’intérieur du four :
• Gardez la porte du four fermée.
• Éteignez le four.
• Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation ou coupez l’alimentation au niveau du panneau à fusibles
ou du panneau à disjoncteurs.
Pour réduire les risques d’incendie à l’intérieur du four, rappelez-vous toujours les règles suivantes :

Ne faites pas trop cuire les aliments. Surveillez attentivement l’appareil si du papier, du plastique ou
d’autres matériaux combustibles sont placés à l’intérieur du four, ce qui facilitera la cuisson.
N’utilisez pas l’intérieur du four à des fins de rangement. N’y rangez pas des articles combustibles
tels que du pain, des biscuits, des produits en papier, des ustensiles de cuisine, etc.
Retirez les liens torsadés et les poignées en métal des contenants en papier ou en plastique ainsi
que les sacs et emballages avant de placer le tout à l’intérieur du four.
Ce four doit être mis à la terre. Branchez-le seulement sur une prise à mise à la terre appropriée.
Voyez les « INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LATERRE » à la page 22.

Installez ou placez le four conformément aux instructions d’installation établies à la page 24.
Certains produits tels que les oeufs entiers, l’eau contenant de l’huile ou de la graisse, les contenants
scellés et les pots fermés en verre peuvent exploser et ne doivent donc pas être placés dans ce four.
Utilisez cet appareil seulement selon son utilisation prévue telle qu’elle est décrite dans le manuel.
N’utilisez pas des vaporisateurs ou des produits chimiques corrosifs dans cet appareil. N.B. : ce four
n’est pas conçu pour l’utilisation industrielle, commerciale ou en laboratoire.

11. Ne recouvrez et ne bloquez pas les ouvertures de ventilation sur l’appareil.
12. Ne rangez et n’utilisez pas cet appareil à l’extérieur.
13. N’utilisez pas ce four près d’une source d’eau, d’un évier, d’une piscine ou dans un sous-sol humide.
14. N’immergez pas le cordon d’alimentation ou la prise dans l’eau.
15. Tenez le cordon d’alimentation loin des surfaces chauffantes.
16. Ne laissez pas le cordon d’alimentation pendre le long du comptoir.
17. Lorsque vous nettoyez le four et les surfaces qui se touchent lorsque la porte est fermée, n’utilisez
qu’un savon ou un détergent doux non abrasif avec une éponge ou un tissu doux. (Voyez les
« INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE »).
CONSERVEZ CES INSTRUCTIONS.
UTILISATION APPROPRIÉE ET SÉCURITAIRE
• Le four doit être de niveau.
• Le plateau tournant en verre et le guide doivent être dans le four en tout temps pendant la cuisson.
• Placez doucement les plats de cuisson sur le plateau tournant et faites bien attention aux bris.
• Ce four comprend plusieurs interrupteurs de sécurité intégrés qui assurent l’interruption de l’alimentation
lorsque la porte est ouverte. N.B. : n’essayez pas de modifier ces interrupteurs.
• Ne faites pas fonctionner le four lorsqu’il est vide. L’utilisation lorsque le four est vide ou que les aliments
sont à très faible teneur en humidité peut causer des incendies, la carbonisation des aliments et(ou) des
étincelles.
• Ne faites pas cuire les aliments directement sur le plateau tournant. Le chauffage localisé excessif du
plateau tournant peut entraîner des bris.
• Ne faites pas chauffer des biberons ou des aliments pour bébé dans le four à micro-ondes. Le chauffage
peut être inégal et pourrait entraîner des blessures.
• Ne faites pas chauffer des contenants ou des bouteilles à col étroit dans le four.
• N’essayez pas de faire frire des aliments dans le four à micro-ondes.
• N’utilisez pas ce four pour effectuer des mises en conserve, car il est impossible de s’assurer que tout le
contenu du contenant a atteint le point d’ébullition.
• N’utilisez pas ce four à des fins commerciales, il est conçu à des fins domestiques seulement.
Pour éviter l’ébullition éruptive différée des liquides et breuvages chauds et ainsi éviter de vous ébouillanter,
brassez les liquides et breuvages avant de les placer dans le four, et répétez à mi-cuisson. Laissez-les
reposer à l’intérieur du four pendant quelque temps et brassez-les à nouveau avant d’en sortir le contenant.

14. Réglage plus / moins (touche « More/Less ») :
Permet d’accroître ou de réduire le temps de cuisson d’environ 7 % au sein du programme choisi. N.B. :
cette fonction ne peut être activée qu’avant d’appuyer sur la touche « Start ». Le four sera ensuite activé.

15. Fonction de cuisson à démarrage auto (« Auto Start ») :
Permet de préprogrammer une mise en marche différée pour votre recette.
a) L’horloge doit être réglée avant de programmer la fonction « Auto Start ».
EXEMPLE : si l’heure actuelle est 12:00, appuyez sur le 1, le 2, le 0 et le 0.
Les chiffres apparaîtront sur l’affichage dans cet ordre (chaque fois que vous appuierez sur
une touche, un bip sonore se fera entendre).

e) Appuyez sur la touche « POWER LEVEL » de façon répétée pour entrer l’intensité désirée pour
le programme « AUTO ». EXEMPLE : APPUYEZ 6 FOIS = PL5 = INTENSITÉ DE 50 %.
f) Appuyez sur les chiffres dans l’ordre pour établir la durée du programme de cuisson « AUTO ».
EXEMPLE : pour 2:00, appuyez sur le 2, le 0 et le 0. Le temps apparaîtra sur l’affichage.
g) Appuyez sur la touche de démarrage « Start ». Le voyant (rouge) « AUTO » clignotera et le
temps de cuisson auto « CLOCK/AUTO COOK » sera remplacé par l’heure actuelle sur l’affichage.
N.B. : si vous voulez vérifier l’heure à laquelle le programme « AUTO » doit commencer,
appuyez sur la touche « CLOCK/AUTO COOK » et le temps de démarrage « AUTO » apparaîtra
temporairement sur l’affichage (quelques secondes). L’heure actuelle reviendra par la suite.
RÉSUMÉ DU PROGRAMME (EXEMPLE) :
Réglage de l’heure à 12:00.
Réglage de l’heure de démarrage auto à 1:15.
Réglage du niveau d’intensité à 50 % (PL5).
Réglage de la durée de la cuisson à 2:00.
Réglage de la fin du programme à 3:15.
Un bip sonore se fera entendre à cinq reprises pour indiquer la fin du programme.
16. Verrouillage de sécurité à l’épreuve des enfants :
Permet de verrouiller toutes les fonctions du micro-ondes pour éviter que les enfants essaient
d’utiliser l’appareil sans surveillance.
a) Pour activer ce verrouillage, appuyez sur la touche « Stop/Clear » à cinq reprises.
Le voyant (rouge) « LOCK » apparaîtra sur l’affichage.
b) Pour désactiver ce verrouillage, appuyez sur le touche « Stop/Clear » à cinq reprises.
Le voyant (rouge) « LOCK » disparaîtra de l’affichage.
17. Consultation de l’heure pendant le fonctionnement :
Permet de voir l’horloge pendant que l’appareil est en marche.

N.B. : vous pouvez également utiliser cette fonction (en tout temps) pour tous les
programmes pendant le fonctionnement du four. Chaque fois que vous appuyez sur
cette touche, une minute s’ajoute au temps restant au sein de tout programme.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE
Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. En cas de court-
circuit électrique, la mise à la terre réduit le risque de
chocs électriques en permettant au courant de

4. Cuisson par micro-ondes en deux étapes :
Permet de programmer deux niveaux d’intensité différents et deux temps de
cuisson différents au sein d’un même programme de cuisson.
NIVEAU 1 :
a) Appuyez sur la touche « Power » une fois pour choisir le niveau de cuisson 1
(« Stage 1 »). Le voyant (rouge) s’allumera et « PH 1 » s’affichera.
b) Appuyez sur « Power » de façon répétée pour choisir l’intensité (pour le niveau 1).
c) Entrez le temps de cuisson (pour le niveau 1) en appuyant sur les chiffres dans
l’ordre. Par ex., si le temps de cuisson est 10:00, appuyez sur le 1, le 0, le 0 et le 0.
NIVEAU 2 :
d) Appuyez à nouveau sur « Power » pour choisir le niveau 2 (« Stage 2 »).
Le voyant (rouge) s’allumera et « PH 2 » s’affichera.
e) Appuyez sur « Power » de façon répétée pour choisir l’intensité (pour le niveau 2).
f) Entrez le temps de cuisson (pour le niveau 2) en appuyant sur les chiffres dans
l’ordre. Par ex., si le temps de cuisson est 5:15, appuyez sur le 5, le 1 et le 5.
f) Appuyez sur la touche de démarrage « Start ». Le voyant (rouge) du niveau 1 se
mettra à clignoter et le compte à rebours commencera pour le niveau 1.
Une fois le niveau 1 terminé, le voyant (rouge) s’éteindra et un bip sonore se fera
entendre à deux reprises. Le niveau 2 commencera alors automatiquement.
Le voyant (rouge) se mettra à clignoter et le compte à rebours commencera pour
le niveau 2. Une fois le niveau 2 terminé, le voyant (rouge) s’éteindra et un bip
sonore se fera entendre à cinq reprises pour indiquer la fin du programme.
N.B. : vous pouvez annuler le programme de cuisson « niveau 1 / niveau 2 » en tout
temps en appuyant sur la touche « Stop/Clear » à deux reprises. Si vous n’appuyez
sur cette touche qu’une seule fois, le programme sera seulement interrompu.
5. Maïs soufflé (touche « Popcorn ») :
Permet de faire cuire deux formats différents de maïs soufflé préemballé.

c) Appuyez sur la touche de démarrage « Start ». Le voyant (rouge) du niveau 1
(« Stage 1 ») et le temps de cuisson s’afficheront, et le compte à rebours débutera.
N.B. : nous vous recommandons de ne pas laisser le four sans surveillance
pendant le programme pour maïs soufflé. Lorsque l’intervalle d’éclatement entre
les grains de maïs ralentit de façon considérable, arrêtez le programme même si le
temps de cuisson n’est pas terminé. Il est préférable que certains grains ne soient
pas éclatés plutôt que de risquer de trop faire cuire (et de brûler) le maïs soufflé.
ATTENTION :
NE FAITES PAS CUIRE LE MAÏS SOUFFLÉ DIRECTEMENT SUR LE PLATEAU
EN VERRE. PLACEZ LE SAC SUR UNE ASSIETTE ALLANT AU MICRO-ONDES
ET PLACEZ L’ASSIETTE SUR LE PLATEAU EN VERRE.

Installation sur le comptoir
1. Choisissez une surface de niveau et assurez-vous qu’il y a assez d’espace pour l’entrée et les sorties d’air.
• Un jeu minimal de 3 po (7,5 cm) est requis entre le four et tout mur adjacent.
Un des côtés doit être ouvert (sans obstruction).
• Un jeu minimal de 12 po (30 cm) est requis au-dessus du four.
• N’enlevez pas les pieds se trouvant sous le four.
• Le fait de bloquer l’entrée et les sorties d’air peut endommager le four.
• Placez le four aussi loin des radios et des téléviseurs que possible.
• Le fonctionnement du micro-ondes peut causer des interférences avec les radios et les téléviseurs.
2. Branchez le four dans une prise domestique standard de 60 Hz, 120 volts. Assurez-vous que le circuit
électrique est protégé par un fusible et(ou) un disjoncteur d’au moins 15 A, et que le four est le seul
appareil ménager sur ce circuit.
ATTENTION : N’installez pas ce four au-dessus d’une cuisinière, d’une plaque de cuisson ou d’un autre
appareil produisant de la chaleur. Si vous l’installez près d’une source de chaleur, le four pourrait être
endommagé, ce qui annulerait la garantie du fabricant.

Placez le support à l’intérieur du four.
Assurez-vous que la tige du plateau tournant est installée à l’intérieur du trou (au centre).
Placez le plateau tournant sur le support, tel qu’il est montré dans le diagramme. Assurez-
vous que le pivot du plateau tournant est bien placé sur la tige du plateau tournant.
• Ne placez jamais le plateau tournant à l’envers. Assurez-vous que son mouvement
n’est jamais restreint.
• Le plateau tournant et le support doivent toujours être utilisés pendant la cuisson.
• Les aliments et les contenants doivent toujours être placés sur le plateau pour la cuisson.
• Une fois que la cuisson est terminée, l’éclairage et le ventilateur s’éteignent automatique-
ment, suivis d’un signal soulignant la fin de la cuisson.
• Le plateau tournant est conçu pour pivoter en sens horaire ou antihoraire.
• Si le plateau ou le support craque ou se brise, communiquez avec le centre de service
autorisé le plus près de chez vous.
Retirez tous les matériaux d’emballage et accessoires. Vérifiez le four et assurez-vous qu’il ne
comporte aucun dommage (par exemple des bris sur la porte ou des bosselures). N’installez pas
le four s’il est endommagé. N.B. : cette unité est conçue pour un circuit c.a. de 60 Hz, 120 volts.
Coffrage : retirez toute pellicule protectrice sur la surface du coffrage.
Ne retirez pas la couverture brun clair en mica qui est vissée à l’intérieur du four (paroi de droite)
pour protéger le magnétron.

2. Décongélation automatique selon le poids (touche « Auto Defrost ») :
Le four à micro-ondes calcule automatiquement le temps de décongélation selon le poids
entré. Veuillez vous reporter au tableau ci-dessous pour les détails.

sonore se fera entendre). Si vous entrez le mauvais poids ou désirez entrer un nouveau poids,
appuyez sur la touche « Stop/Clear » et répétez les étapes a et b. Le voyant (rouge) pour le

c) Appuyez sur « Start » pour démarrer le programme de décongélation. Le voyant (rouge) des
mesures (« Weight » et « lb. ») s’éteindra et le voyant (rouge) du temps (« Time ») se mettra à
clignoter. Le four calcule automatiquement le temps de décongélation selon le poids entré et le
programme choisi ; ce temps apparaîtra sur l’affichage. Le compte à rebours
commencera aussitôt que vous appuierez sur la touche « Start ». Un bip sonore se fera
entendre à cinq reprises pour indiquer la fin du programme.
3. Cuisson par micro-ondes en une étape :
Permet d’effectuer la cuisson en n’utilisant qu’un seul niveau d’intensité.
N.B. : à moins que vous ne choisissiez un niveau d’intensité inférieur, le four est programmé
pour cuire à intensité maximale (100 %).

INSTRUCTIONS DE FONCTIONNEMENT
1.Pour régler l’horloge :
Lorsque vous brancherez le four pour la première fois dans une prise,
un bip sonore se fera entendre et l’affichage « 0:00 » clignotera.
a) Appuyez sur les chiffres pour entrer l’heure appropriée. EXEMPLE :
si l’heure est 10:12, appuyez sur les touches 1, 0, 1 et 2. Ces chiffres
apparaîtront sur l’affichage dans cet ordre (chaque fois que vous
appuierez sur une touche, un bip sonore se fera entendre).
b) Appuyez sur la touche « Horloge/Cuisson Programée » pour mettre
le réglage en mémoire. Le deux-points (« : ») se mettra à clignoter pour
indiquer que le réglage de l’heure est maintenant activé.
N.B. : Le système est de format 12 heures, de 1:00 à 12:59.
Si vous entrez la mauvaise heure par accident, débranchez le cordon,
rebranchez-le et recommencez la procédure pour régler l’heure.
Si l’heure n’est pas réglée avant le début d’un programme de cuisson,
le chiffre 0 apparaîtra sur l’affichage une fois le programme terminé.

PRINCIPES ET TECHNIQUES DE CUISSON
La rapidité et l’efficacité sont quelques-uns des avantages de la cuisson par micro-ondes. Il n’y a rien de
comparable pour faire chauffer, cuire et décongeler. Voici quelques trucs qui rendront votre expérience plus
agréable et vous faciliteront la tâche.
Principes de la cuisson par micro-ondes :
Étant donné que la cuisson par micro-ondes ne requiert que le quart ou le tiers du temps de cuisson requis
par les fours conventionnels, ses principes de cuisson sont encore plus importants.
Quantité :
Pendant la cuisson par micro-ondes, le temps de cuisson dépend de la quantité d’aliments placés à
l’intérieur du four. Si vous doublez la recette, prévoyez doubler le temps de cuisson.
Densité :
Afin de permettre à l’énergie à micro-ondes de bien les pénétrer et chauffer, les aliments denses,
par exemple les pommes de terre, requièrent un temps de cuisson plus long.
Formes et dimensions :
Coupez les aliments uniformément pour assurer une cuisson uniforme. Pour les pièces irrégulières
(par exemple les morceaux de poulet), placez les morceaux plus épais sur le bord extérieur du plat.
Temps de cuisson :
Les aliments à teneur élevée en humidité, le sucre et le gras cuisent plus rapidement que les autres. Ajoutez
une quantité minimale de liquide pour humidifier les aliments. Une quantité excessive d’eau ralentit la cuisson.
Température de démarrage :
Les aliments surgelés ou réfrigérés prennent plus de temps à cuire que ceux à la température ambiante.
Ingrédients fins :
Les aliments fins, par exemple les oeufs, le fromage, la mayonnaise, etc. cuisent très rapidement.
Vous devriez donc surveiller la cuisson avec beaucoup d’attention.
Techniques de la cuisson par micro-ondes :
Disposition : Disposez les aliments en cercle. Placez les morceaux plus denses et épais sur les bords
extérieurs du plat de cuisson.
Perçage : Percez la membrane des aliments tels que les oeufs, les huîtres, les escargots, les saucisses,
le foie, les palourdes et les légumes entiers de façon qu’ils n’explosent pas.
Réchauffage : Les aliments cuits se réchauffent extrêmement bien à intensité inférieure. Placez les
aliments plus denses sur les bords extérieurs du plat de cuisson pour le mode de réchauffage.
Couverture : La plupart des aliments cuisent et se réchauffent mieux lorsqu’ils sont couverts. Assurez-
vous que le couvercle est ouvert. Percez les pellicules de plastique pour permettre l’évacuation de la vapeur.
Brassage : Il est recommandé de brasser occasionnellement les aliments pendant la cuisson afin de
favoriser une cuisson plus rapide et plus uniforme.
Transfert : Pour favoriser une cuisson uniforme, tournez les gros aliments tels que les rôtis ou les
pommes de terre au four à mi-cuisson.
Temps de repos : Les aliments continuent de cuire même après que vous les sortiez du four.
Un temps de repos est nécessaire pour permettre aux aliments de cuire ou de décongeler complètement.
Conversion des recettes : Les recettes pour fours à micro-ondes nécessitent généralement moins de
liquides et un temps de cuisson inférieur par rapport à la cuisson conventionnelle.
Thermomètres pour micro-ondes : Pour de meilleurs résultats, un thermomètre allant au micro-ondes
peut être soigneusement inséré dans les aliments, à l’endroit approprié. Rappelez-vous qu’un temps de repos
est essentiel pour assurer la température de service adéquate de la plupart des aliments.

ENTRETIEN
• Extérieur
La surface extérieure (coffrage) est peinte. Nettoyez l’extérieur du coffrage avec un savon doux et de l’eau,
rincez puis séchez au moyen d’un chiffon doux. N’utilisez pas un nettoyant ménager ou un abrasif.
Nettoyez l’écran de la porte des deux côtés au moyen d’un chiffon humide pour éliminer les éclaboussures.
Nettoyez l’avant de la porte avec un chiffon humide légèrement trempé dans l’eau. Séchez avec un
chiffon doux. N’utilisez pas un tampon à récurer ou un nettoyant chimique. Les pièces en métal sont plus
faciles à entretenir si vous les essuyez fréquemment avec un chiffon humide. Évitez d’utiliser des nettoyants
en vaporisateur et d’autres produits puissants qui peuvent tacher, égratigner ou ternir la surface de la porte.
• Intérieur
L’intérieur est facile à nettoyer car peu de chaleur est générée sur ses surfaces. Pour nettoyer ces dernières,
utilisez un chiffon doux et de l’eau. N’UTILISEZ PAS UN ABRASIF, UN PRODUIT PUISSANT OU UN
TAMPON À RÉCURER. Pour les endroits très sales, utilisez du bicarbonate de soude ou un savon doux ;
frottez bien avec un chiffon trempé dans l’eau chaude. NE VAPORISEZ JAMAIS UN PRODUIT À
NETTOYER LES FOURS DIRECTEMENT SUR UNE PARTIE INTÉRIEURE DU FOUR À MICRO-ONDES.
• Plateau tournant en verre et support
Le plateau tournant et le support peuvent être retirés du four pour faciliter le nettoyage. Lavez-les dans de
l’eau savonneuse. Pour les taches tenaces, utilisez un nettoyant doux et une éponge non abrasive. Ces
articles peuvent aussi être mis au lave-vaisselle ; placez-les dans le panier supérieur. La tige motorisée
du plateau tournant n’est pas scellée ; nettoyez donc immédiatement les liquides et les éclaboussures.
