Charging the Battery
The rechargeable battery of the Neo+ Watch is long lasting and provides
up to 14 hours of golf, or one year of use as an everyday (time only) watch.
However, battery life may be reduced due to a variety of factors (external
temperature, etc). All rechargeable batteries lose their effective charge
length over time.
To check your remaining battery life, select “Battery” from Menu 1 (pg.
8,9). To recharge the battery, attach the 4-pin end of the included USB
cable to the contacts on the back of the watch and connect it to your
computer. The Neo+ Watch and USB cable are compatible with all USB
ports, including A/C style USB chargers. The battery charging/full displays
and charging contacts are shown below:

Power On and Basic Operation
Ready to start using your Neo+ Watch?
First, be sure the battery has a full charge. If you are using it for the first
time, it should be charged until the “FULL”charge indication is displayed
(refer to “Battery Charging” on pg. 7 for details). Next, make sure you are
outdoors, in a location with a clear view of the sky overhead, to ensure
good reception of GPS satellite signals Now, you’re ready to power up
and use your Neo+ Watch.

Press and hold the FRONT button (5) to power on the Neo+ Watch.
Press the MENU button (2).
Scroll through the menu options by pressing the FRONT (5) and
BACK (3) buttons. Press again at the bottom (or top) of a menu
screen to go to the next (or previous) menu screen (see below).
Select the desired feature by pressing the SELECT (4) button.

The Menu of features is displayed over a series of three screens as
follows:

Menu 3: GPS status*, Settings
*GPS feature- using these features requires a satellite signal. To ensure
reception, make sure you are outdoors away from tall buildings and
trees, with a clear view of the sky.
Using Play Golf Mode
1. Press MENU and select “Play Golf” (press FRONT or BACK if
necessary) at the top of Menu 1 then press SELECT. The Neo+
Watch will search for GPS satellite signals. Once satellite lock has
been acquired, the Neo+ Watch will display a list of courses in the
local area.
2. Scroll the course list with the BACK and FRONT buttons, and select
your course by pressing the SELECT button. You are now in “Play
Golf”Mode.
3. After you’ve selected a course, the main screen will display Front,
Center, and Back of the Green distances for Hole 1, as well as par
information. The current Hole number is shown on the top left.

Button Functions in Play Golf Mode
Track Shot Distance: This feature allows you to easily check the distance
between any two points and would normally be used to measure the
length of your shot. Press the SHOT button to set Point A (where you are
standing) to “0”. After walking to your ball (Point B), the Neo+ Watch will
display the distance between Point A and Point B in a straight line.
View Golf Menu Options: Press MENU to view the Golf Menu, which
allows you to manually change holes (view next/previous hole info),
change the units of measurement (yards or meters), check the current
time, or exit the game. Press MENU again to return to your game.
View Larger Back Distance Callout: Press BACK to display the Back
Callout screen for 5 seconds, then return to the main Front, Center, Back
(FCB) screen.
View Larger Front Distance Callout: Press FRONT to display the Front
Callout screen for 5 seconds, then return to the main Front, Center, Back
(FCB) screen.

Other Menu Options
Battery (A): To check the remaining battery charge, select
“Battery”from Menu 1.
Golf Demo: Selecting “Golf Demo” from Menu 1 provides
an overview of the functionality of Play Golf mode without
requiring a GPS satellite signal. It will display sample screens
of the main Front, Center, Back (FCB) screen, Shot Distance,
Back of the Green, and Front of the Green Screen. Bring up the Golf Menu
and select “Exit Game”to exit the Golf Demo.
The Golf Demo feature is intended primarily for retail demonstration
purposes, but also provides a way for you to “show off” your Neo+ Watch
to your fellow golfers when you’re inside the clubhouse !
*Note: “Change Hole” and “Yds/Mtrs” are non-functional in the Golf Demo.
Odometer (B): Once
a
GPS satellite signal has been
acquired, selecting the Odometer function allows you to
track distance, speed, and total activity time.
Alarm (C): The Neo+ Watch features
a
standard alarm
function. The alarm sounds at the set time.
Timer (D): The Neo+ Watch timer function works like a
kitchen timer (countdown timer). Set the desired time, and
an alarm will sound when the time has elapsed.
GPS Status (E): Once
a
GPS satellite signal has been
acquired, selecting the GPS Status screen will show the
strength of the signal.

Using the Settings Menu
Settings (A): From the settings menu, you can adjust the time and date
(select “TimeDate”), disable the key tones (select “Sound”), adjust the
units of measurement between standard and metric (select “Units”), and
perform a system reset (select “SysReset”) to restore all original settings.
Time/Date (B): This option allows you to set the time and date, set the
time zone, adjust the GPS update settings, and set the preferred time
format.
Sound (C): This menu option allows you to disable key tones. When key
tones are set to the “On” position, the Neo+ will emit beeping tones with
each button push. When key tones are set to the“Off”position, the button
pushes will be silent.
Units (D): This menu option allows you to change the units of
measurement for distance readings from standard to metric.
System Reset (E): This menu option resets the Neo+ Watch to factory
default settings.
About (F): The “About” screen displays the firmware/software version
that is currently installed and running on your device. Please visit www.
bushnellgolf.com for information regarding the availability of updates
for the firmware/software.

Registering and Updating Golf Course Data
Setting up a free account and registering your Neo+ at www.bushnell.
igolf.com is not required. However, doing so will allow you to update the
preloaded GPS course data, and load any new courses. Registration is free
and takes only a few minutes. Completing the registration will give you
access to the latest GPS data for use on your device.
Neo+ Watch and create an account. The serial # of your Watch can be
found on the back of the unit as shown in the example. Click “Next” at
the end of Step 1 to go to Step 2 and complete your registration.
2) In Step 3, you will download and run an installer for the USB driver
that allows your computer to recognize your Watch. The installer is
compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 (to date, Mac OS
is not supported). For best results, we recommend using Microsoft
Internet Explorer as your browser.
3) After the driver installation is complete, click Next.
4) Step 4 (optional) provides access to a pdf document with detailed
instructions for updating the internal operating software of the Neo+
Watch. A button (web link) is included in the pdf that will take you to
the Software Wizard that downloads the update. Updating your Watch
software is recommended to ensure that you have the latest features
and operating improvements.
5) Once you’ve registered your Neo+ Watch and installed the USB
driver, you’ll be on the webpage that allows you to search for a golf
course. Enter all or part of the course’s name and click“Search”. You’ll be
taken to the course info on the iGolf.com site, and can click “Download
GPS Course File”to get the latest updated data for the course.

Chargement de la batterie
La montre Neo+ est dotée d’une batterie rechargeable longue durée,
qui vous offre jusqu’à 14 heures d’utilisation pour le golf ou une année
d’utilisation en montre seule (avec indication de l’heure uniquement).
Cependant, un certain nombre de facteurs (température extérieure,
etc.) peuvent réduire la durée de vie de la batterie. Toutes les batteries
rechargeables perdent leur charge effective avec le temps.
Pour vérifier l’autonomie de votre batterie, sélectionnez « Battery »
(batterie) dans le menu 1 (p. 22, 23). Pour charger la batterie, branchez
l’extrémité à 4 broches du câble USB (inclus) sur la zone de contact située
au dos de la montre puis connectez-le à votre ordinateur. La montre Neo+
et le câble USB sont compatibles avec tous les ports USB, chargeurs USB

1. Bouton SHOT (coup) : Mesure la distance des coups dans le mode
Play Golf (jouer au golf). Contrôle le rétroéclairage. Maintenez
le bouton enfoncé pour passer en mode nuit. Désactivez le
mode nuit avec une pression rapide. Appuyez sur « Select »
(sélectionner) « Front » (entrée) ou « Back » (sortie) pour quitter
l’affichage du la distance de coup.
2. Bouton MENU : En mode Play Golf (jouer au golf), permet
d’afficher le menu Golf. En mode montre (écran de départ),
permet d’afficher les menus des options. Affichage des options du
menu principal à partir de l’écran de visualisation.
3. Bouton BACK (sortie) : Dans les menus, permet de faire défiler
vers le haut. En mode Play Golf (jouer au golf), affiche en plein
écran la distance jusqu’à la sortie du green.
4. Bouton SELECT (sélectionner) : Permet de valider une sélection.
5. Bouton FRONT (entrée) : Maintenez le bouton enfoncé pour
allumer ou éteindre la montre. Dans les menus, permet de faire
défiler vers le bas. En mode Play Golf (jouer au golf), affiche en
plein écran la distance jusqu’à l’entrée du green.

Mise sous tension et utilisation basique
Prêt(e) à utiliser votre montre Neo+ ?
Tout d’abord, assurez-vous que la batterie est complètement chargée. S’il
s’agit de votre première utilisation, la batterie doit être chargée jusqu’à ce
que le message« FULL » (chargement terminé) s’affiche (voir « Chargement
de la batterie » p. 18 pour plus d’informations). Ensuite, positionnez-vous bien
à l’extérieur dans un lieu où le ciel est bien dégagé pour garantir une bonne
réception des signaux transmis par les satellites GPS. Vous pouvez à présent
mettre sous tension et utiliser votre montre Neo+.

Maintenez le bouton FRONT (5) enfoncé pour mettre votre montre
Neo+ sous tension.

Appuyez sur le bouton MENU (2).
Faites défiler les options du menu en appuyant sur les boutons FRONT
(5) et BACK (3). Appuyez une nouvelle fois en haut ou en bas d’un
écran de menu pour passer à la page suivante (ou précédente) (voir
ci-dessous).

Sélectionner/valider en appuyant sur le bouton SELECT (4).

*Fonctionnalité GPS- un signal satellite est nécessaire à l’utilisation de ces
fonctionnalités. Pour bien capter les signaux, positionnez-vous à l’extérieur
dans un lieu sans immeuble ni grand arbre avec un ciel bien dégagé.
Mode Play Golf (jouer au golf)
1. Appuyez sur MENU et sélectionnez « Play Golf » (appuyez sur FRONT
ou BACK si nécessaire) en haut du menu 1 puis sur
SELECT. Votre montre Neo+ recherchera des signaux
satellites GPS. Une fois le satellite verrouillé, la montre
Neo+ affiche une liste des parcours les plus proches.
2. Faites défiler la liste de parcours en appuyant sur les
boutons BACK et FRONT, et sélectionnez votre parcours en appuyant
sur le bouton SELECT. Le mode « Play Golf » est à présent activé.
3. Une fois que vous avez sélectionné un parcours, l’écran principal affiche
les distances à l’entrée (Front), au milieu (Center) et à la sortie (Back) du
green pour le trou n°1 ainsi que les informations sur le par. Le numéro du
trou joué s’affiche en haut à gauche.

Cette fonctionnalité vous permet de vérifier
facilement la distance entre deux points. Elle est normalement utilisée pour
mesurer la longueur de votre coup. Appuyez sur le bouton SHOT pour définir
le point A (votre position) à « 0 ». Après avoir rejoint votre balle (point B), la
montre Neo+ affiche la distance en ligne droite entre le point A et le point B.

de réveil standard. Le réveil se déclenche au moment défini.
Timer (minuteur) (D) : Le minuteur de la montre Neo+
fonctionne comme une minuterie de cuisine. Saisissez la
durée souhaitée et une alarme sonnera lorsque ce temps
sera écoulé.
GPS Status (statut GPS) (E) : Une fois que le GPS a trouvé un
signal satellite, sélectionnez l’écran d’informations pour voir
la force de ce signal.

Utilisation du menu des paramètres
Settings (paramètres)(A) : Le menu des paramètres vous permet de
régler la date et l’heure (option « TimeDate »), de désactiver la tonalité des
touches (option « Sound »), de sélectionner l’unité de mesure souhaitée
et choisir entre les yards et les mètres (option « Units ») et de réinitialiser
le système (option « SysReset ») afin de restaurer tous les paramètres par
défaut.
Time/Date (date/heure) (B) : Cette option vous permet de régler la date
et l’heure, de définir le fuseau horaire, de régler les paramètres de mise à
jour du GPS et de personnaliser le format de la date.
Sound (sons) (C) : Cette option du menu vous permet de désactiver la
tonalité des touches. Si la tonalité des touches est réglée sur la position «
On », la montre Neo+ émettra un bip lorsque vous appuierez sur chaque
bouton. Si la tonalité des touches est réglée sur la position « Off », la
montre n’émettra aucun son lorsque vous appuierez sur les boutons.
Units (unités) (D) : Cette option du menu vous permet de changer les
unités de mesure de distance et de passer des yards aux mètres.
System Reset (réinitialisation du système) (E) : Cette option du menu
réinitialise la montre Neo+ et rétablit les paramètres par défaut.

Mise à jour du GPS : Définir l’option sur
« On » permet d’actualiser l’heure par
rapport au fuseau horaire sélectionné
à l’acquisition du signal GPS. Pour que
votre montre Neo+ puisse actualiser

réglez le fuseau horaire sur l’option « By
Longitude » (en longitude). L’heure sera

Enregistrement et mise à jour des données de
parcours de golf
La création d’un compte gratuit et l’enregistrement de votre montre Neo+
vous permettra de mettre à jour les cartes GPS préchargées dans votre
votre montre, et d’en télécharger de nouvelles. L’inscription est gratuite
et ne prend que quelques minutes. En vous inscrivant, vous bénéficierez
d’un accès aux dernières mises à jour des données GPS à utiliser sur votre
appareil.

jour votre montre afin de bénéficier des dernières fonctionnalités et

5) Une fois l’enregistrement de votre montre Neo+ et l’installation de
votre pilote USB terminées, vous serez redirigé sur la page internet où
vous pourrez rechercher un parcours de golf. Saisissez en partie ou
totalité le nom d’un parcours de golf puis cliquez sur « Recherche ».
Vous serez redirigé vers la page d’information du parcours sur le site
iGolf.com. Cliquez sur « Download GPS Course File » (télécharger le
ficher GPS du parcours) pour obtenir les dernières données actualisées
du parcours.

Carga de la batería
La batería recargable del reloj Neo+ es muy duradera y proporciona hasta
14 horas de juego al golf, o un año de uso diario como reloj (solo para
consultar la hora). Sin embargo, la vida útil de la batería podría verse
reducida debido a diversos factores (temperatura externa, etc.). Todas las
baterías recargables pierden duración de la carga efectiva con el tiempo.

¿Desea empezar a utilizar su reloj Neo+?
Primero, asegúrese de que la batería está completamente cargada. Si es la
primera vez que lo utiliza, debe cargarlo hasta que aparezca el indicador
de carga “FULL”(Completa). Consulte la sección “Carga de la batería” en la

Modo Play Golf (Jugar al golf)
1. Pulse el botón MENU (Menú) y vaya hasta la opción
“Play Golf” (si es necesario, utilice los botones FRONT
[Inicio] y BACK [Final] para pasar de una opción a otra)
situada en la parte superior del menú 1 y pulse SELECT
(Seleccionar). El reloj Neo+ buscará señales del satélite
GPS. Cuando se haya sincronizado con el satélite, el reloj Neo+ mostrará
una lista de los campos en la zona.
2. Pase de un campo a otro de la lista con los botones BACK y FRONT, y

Calcular distancia de golpe: Esta función le permite comprobar con facilidad la

Battery (Batería) (A): Para comprobar la carga restante de la

Golf Demo (Demostración de golf): Si selecciona “Golf
Demo” (Demostración de golf) en el menú 1, se mostrará
una descripción general de la funcionalidad del modo Play

satélite GPS. Aparecerán pantallas de muestra de la pantalla principal con

No es necesario que obtenga una cuenta gratuita ni que registre su reloj
los datos GPS existentes de campos y cargar campos nuevos. Puede
registrarse de forma gratuita y solo le llevará unos minutos. Complete el
registro para acceder a los últimos datos GPS y utilizarlos en su dispositivo.

Laden der Batterie
Die wiederaufladbare Batterie der Neo+ Watch ist langlebig und reicht für bis
zu 14 Stunden Golf oder ein Jahr bei Verwendung als Alltagsuhr lediglich zur
Zeitanzeige. Die Batterielaufzeit kann jedoch durch eine Vielzahl an Faktoren
verkürzt werden (Außentemperatur etc.). Alle wiederaufladbaren Batterien
verlieren langfristig an effektiver Ladezeit.
Die verbleibende Batteriedauer lässt sich überprüfen, indem Sie „Battery“
(Batterie) in Menü 1 wählen (S. 50, 51). Zum Wiederaufladen der Batterie
schließen Sie das vierpolige Ende des mitgelieferten USB-Kabels an die
Kontakte an der Rückseite der Uhr und das andere Ende an den Computer
an. Die Neo+ Watch und das USB-Kabel sind mit allen USB-Anschlüssen
einschließlich USB-Ladegeräten kompatibel. Die Displays während des
Ladevorgangs (Charging) und bei vollständig geladener (Full) Batterie sowie
die Ladekontakte sind nachstehend abgebildet:

1. Taste SHOT (Schlag): Verfolgt die Schlagweite im PLAY
GOLF-Modus. Schaltet die Hintergrundbeleuchtung
ein oder aus. Halten Sie die Taste zum Aktivieren des
Nachtmodus gedrückt. Drücken Sie die Taste einmal kurz,
um den Nachtmodus zu deaktivieren. Drücken Sie„Select“
(Auswählen),„Front“ (Vorderseite) oder„Back“ (Rückseite), um
die Schlagweite zu beenden.
2. Taste MENU (Menü): Zeigt das Golf-Menü im PLAY GOLF-
Modus an. Zur Anzeige der Hauptmenüoptionen in der
Bildschirmanzeige„Time“ (Zeit).
3. Taste BACK (Zurück): Blättert in den Menüoptionen nach
oben. Zeigt eine große Legende zur Rückseite des Grüns im
PLAY GOLF-Modus an.
4. Taste SELECT (Auswahl): Dient zur Auswahl von
Menüelementen.
5. Taste FRONT (Vor): Halten Sie die Taste zum Einschalten/
Ausschalten der Uhr gedrückt. Blättert in den Menüoptionen
nach unten. Zeigt eine große Legende zur Vorderseite des
Grüns im PLAY GOLF-Modus an.

Einschalten und grundlegende Bedienung
Sind Sie bereit, Ihre Neo+ Watch zu starten?
Stellen Sie zunächst sicher, dass die Batterie vollständig aufgeladen ist. Wenn
Sie sie zum ersten Mal verwenden, sollten Sie die Batterie so lange aufladen,
bis„Full“ (Vollständig geladen) angezeigt wird (weitere Infos finden Sie im
Abschnitt „Laden der Batterie“ auf Seite 46). Begeben Sie sich anschließend
ins Freie an einen Ort mit klarer Sichtverbindung auf den Himmel, damit die
GPS-Satellitensignale leicht empfangen werden können. Nun können Sie Ihre
Neo+ Watch einschalten und verwenden.

Drücken Sie die Taste FRONT (Vor) (5) und halten Sie sie einen
Augenblick gedrückt, um die Neo+ Watch einzuschalten.
Drücken Sie die Taste MENU (Menü) (2).
Blättern Sie durch die Menüoptionen, indem Sie die Tasten FRONT
(Vorderseite) (5) und BACK (Zurück) (3) drücken. Drücken Sie erneut
unten oder oben in einem Menübildschirm, um zur nächsten bzw.
vorherigen Bildschirmanzeige zu gelangen (siehe unten).
Wählen Sie die gewünschte Funktion durch Drücken der Taste SELECT
(Auswahl) (4) aus.

Das Menü mit den Funktionen wird wie folgt über drei Bildschirme verteilt
angezeigt:

Menü 1: Play Golf*, Battery, Golf Demo (Golf spielen, Batterie, Golf-
Demo)
Menü 2: Odometer*, Alarm, Timer (Wegstreckenzähler, Alarm,
Zeitgeber)
Menü 3: GPS status*, Settings (GPS-Status, Einstellungen)
*GPS-Funktion - für die Verwendung dieser Funktionen ist ein Satellitensignal
erforderlich. Halten Sie sich für einen guten Empfang nicht in der Nähe
hoher Gebäude und Bäume auf und achten Sie darauf, dass eine klare
Sichtverbindung auf den Himmel vorhanden ist.
Verwenden des PLAY GOLF-Modus
1. Drücken Sie MENU (Menü) und wählen Sie „Play
Golf“ (Golf spielen) (drücken Sie ggf. FRONT (Vor)
oder BACK (Zurück) oben in Menü 1 und drücken Sie anschließend
SELECT (Auswahl). Die Neo+ Watch sucht nach GPS-Satellitensignalen.
Nachdem die Satellitenverbindung gefunden wurde, wird auf der Neo+
Watch eine Liste der Golfplätze in der näheren Umgebung angezeigt.
2. Durchblättern Sie die Liste der Plätze mit den Tasten BACK (Zurück) und
FRONT (Vor) und wählen Sie den gewünschten Platz durch Drücken
der Taste SELECT (Auswahl) aus. Sie befinden sich nun im PLAY GOLF-
Modus.
3. Nach der Auswahl eines Platzes werden auf dem Hauptbildschirm die
Entfernungen für Vorderseite, Mitte und Rückseite des Grüns für Loch
1 sowie Par-Informationen angezeigt. Die Nummer des aktuellen Lochs
wird oben links angezeigt.

Tastenfunktionen im PLAY GOLF-Modus
Schlagweite verfolgen: Mithilfe dieser Funktion können Sie auf einfache Weise
die Entfernung zwischen zwei beliebigen Punkten feststellen. Beim normalen
Einsatz wird diese Funktion für die Messung der Schlagdistanz verwendet.
Drücken Sie die Taste SHOT (Schlag), um Punkt A (an dem Sie sich befinden)
auf„0“ zu setzen. Nachdem Sie zum Ball gegangen sind (Punkt B), wird auf der
Neo+ Watch der Abstand zwischen Punkt A und Punkt B in einer geraden Linie
angezeigt.
Optionen im Golf-Menü anzeigen: Durch Drücken der Taste MENU (Menü)
wird das Menü „Golf“ angezeigt, in dem Sie Löcher manuell ändern (Info zum
nächsten/vorherigen Loch anzeigen), die Maßeinheiten (Yards oder Meter)
ändern, die aktuelle Zeit ablesen oder das Spiel beenden können. Durch
erneutes Drücken der Taste MENU (Menü) kehren Sie zu Ihrem Spiel zurück.
Größere Legende zur Entfernung zur Rückseite anzeigen: Drücken Sie die
Taste BACK (Rückseite), um den Bildschirm„Back Callout“ (Legende Rückseite)
fünf Sekunden lang anzuzeigen. Kehren Sie anschließend zum Hauptbildschirm
für Vorderseite, Mitte und Rückseite (Front, Center, Back) zurück.
Größere Legende zur Entfernung zur Vorderseite anzeigen: Drücken Sie
die Taste FRONT (Vorderseite), um den Bildschirm „Back Callout“ (Legende
Rückseite) fünf Sekunden lang anzuzeigen. Kehren Sie anschließend zum

auf und wählen Sie „Exit Game“ (Spiel beenden), um die Golf-Demo zu
beenden.
Die Funktion „Golf Demo“ ist in erster Linie zur Demonstration am
Verkaufsort gedacht; Sie können sie jedoch auch nutzen, um Ihren

funktioniert wie ein Küchenwecker (Countdown-Timer).
Stellen Sie die gewünschte Zeit ein und ein Alarm wird
ertönen, wenn die Zeit verstrichen ist.
GPS Status (GPS-Status) (E): Nachdem ein GPS-
Satellitensignal gefunden wurde, können Sie mit der GPS-
Statusanzeige die Signelstärke sehen.

Settings (Einstellungen) (A): Im Menü„Settings“ (Einstellungen) können
Uhrzeit und Datum (Menüpunkt „TimeDate“) eingestellt, die Tastentöne
deaktiviert (Menüpunkt „Sound“), die Maßeinheiten Standard und
Metrisch (Menüpunkt „Units“) eingestellt und eine Systemrücksetzung
(Menüpunkt „SysReset“) zur Wiederherstellung der Werkseinstellungen
durchgeführt werden.
Time/Date (Uhrzeit/Datum) (B): Mit dieser Option können
Sie Datum und Uhrzeit sowie die Zeitzone einstellen, die GPS-
Aktualisierungseinstellungen vornehmen und das bevorzugte Zeitformat
festlegen.
Sound (Ton) (C): Mit dieser Menüoption können Sie die Tastentöne
deaktivieren. Wenn die Tastentöne aktiviert sind („On“), gibt die Neo+
bei jedem Tastendruck einen Piepton von sich. Wenn die Tastentöne
deaktiviert sind („Off“), erfolgt der Tastendruck geräuschlos.
Units (Einheiten) (D): Mit dieser Menüoption können Sie die
Maßeinheiten für Entfernungsanzeigen von Standard in metrisch ändern.
System Reset (Systemrücksetzung) (E): Mit dieser Option wird die Neo+

Registrieren und Aktualisieren von Golfplatzdaten
Sie können optional ein kostenloses Konto einrichten und Ihre Neo+
die vorinstallierten GPS-Platzdaten aktualisieren und neue Plätze
herunterladen. Die Registrierung ist kostenfrei und dauert nur wenige
Minuten. Nach abgeschlossener Registrierung haben Sie Zugriff auf die
aktuellsten GPS-Daten, die Sie für Ihr Gerät verwenden können.
Ihre Neo+ Watch zu registrieren und ein Konto einzurichten. Die
Seriennummer Ihrer Uhr finden Sie an deren Rückseite, wie im Beispiel
dargestellt. Klicken Sie am Ende von Schritt 1 auf „Next“ (Weiter), um
mit Schritt 2 fortzufahren und Ihre Registrierung abzuschließen.
2) In Schritt 3 laden Sie ein Installationsprogramm für den USB-
Treiber herunter, der es dem Computer ermöglicht, Ihre Uhr zu
erkennen. Das Installationsprogramm wird anschließend ausgeführt.
Das Installationsprogramm ist mit Windows XP, Vista und Windows
7 kompatibel (Mac OS wird derzeit noch nicht unterstützt). Für beste
Ergebnisse wird empfohlen, Microsoft Internet Explorer als Browser zu
verwenden.
3) Nachdem der Treiber installiert wurde, klicken Sie auf„Next“ (Weiter).
4) In Schritt 4 (optional) erhalten Sie Zugriff auf ein PDF-Dokument mit
ausführlichen Anweisungen zum Aktualisieren der Betriebssoftware
der Neo+ Watch. Die PDF enthält eine Schaltfläche (einen Weblink),
über die Sie zum Softwareassistenten gelangen, der das Update
herunterlädt. Es wird empfohlen, die Software der Uhr zu aktualisieren,
damit Sie stets über die neuesten Funktionen und Verbesserungen
verfügen.
5) Nachdem Sie Ihre Neo+ Watch registriert und den USB-Treiber
installiert haben, gelangen Sie zu einer Webseite, auf der Sie nach
einem Golfplatz suchen können. Geben Sie den vollständigen Namen
des Golfplatzes ein und klicken Sie auf„Search“ (Suchen). Anschließend
gelangen Sie zu den Platzinformationen auf der Site iGolf.com, wo
Sie durch Klicken auf „Download GPS Course File“ (GPS-Platzdatei
herunterladen) die neuesten, aktualisierten Daten zum Platz abrufen
können.

Il Neo+ da polso è resistente e impermeabile. Per garantirne il funzionamento affidabile, si consiglia
di seguire le seguenti istruzioni per la cura e manutenzione:

Pulire di tanto in tanto il dispositivo con un panno morbido inumidito.
Spazzolare regolarmente i contatti del morsetto nella parte inferiore del dispositivo.
L’accumulo di sporcizia sulla superficie dei punti di contatto può influire sul normale tempo
di ricarica e sul trasferimento dei dati. (*Nota: Servirsi di uno spazzolino a setole morbide.

Ricarica della batteria
La batteria ricaricabile del Neo+ da polso ha una lunga autonomia e
consente fino a 14 ore di gioco oppure un anno di uso quotidiano come
normale orologio (solo per indicare l’ora). Tuttavia, la vita utile della
batteria può risultare inferiore a causa di una serie di fattori (temperatura
esterna, ecc). Tutte le batterie ricaricabili perdono la durata effettiva di
carica nel corso del tempo.
Per controllare la vita utile residua della batteria, selezionare “Battery”
(Batteria) nel menu 1 (pag. 64, 65). Per ricaricare la batteria, collegare
l’estremità a 4 piedini del cavo USB incluso nella confezione alla parte
posteriore dell’orologio e l’altra estremità al computer. Il Neo+ da polso
e il cavo USB sono compatibili con tutti gli attacchi USB, compresi quelli
dei caricabatterie USB tipo c.a. Le seguenti figure mostrano le indicazioni

1. Pulsante SHOT (TIRO): Misura la distanza di tiro in modalità
Play Golf. Controlla la retroilluminazione. Per la modalità
Night (Notte), tenere premuto il pulsante. Per disattivare la
modalità Night basta un’unica rapida pressione del pulsante.
Per uscire da Shot Distance (Distanza di tiro), premere Select
(Selezione), Front (Avanti) o Back (Indietro).
2. Pulsante MENU: Visualizza il menu Golf in modalità Play Golf.
Visualizza le opzioni del menu principale nella schermata
Time (Tempo).
3. Pulsante BACK (INDIETRO): Consente di scorrere verso l’alto
le voci di menu. In modalità Play Golf, visualizza in grandi
numeri la distanza dalla fine del green.
4. Pulsante SELECT (SELEZIONE): Per selezionare le voci di
menu.
5. Pulsante FRONT (AVANTI): Tenere premuto per spegnere/

Accensione e funzionamento basilare
Pronti per iniziare a usare il Neo+ da polso?
In primo luogo, verificare che la batteria sia completamente carica. Prima
dell’uso iniziale, dopo l’acquisto, caricare la batteria fino a quando viene
visualizzata l’indicazione “FULL”(CARICA) (vedere la sezione “Ricarica della
batteria” a pag. 7 per ulteriori informazioni). Quindi andare all’aperto, in un
luogo con una visuale sgombra del cielo sovrastante per garantirsi una buona
ricezione del segnale satellitare GPS. A questo punto si è pronti per accendere
e usare il Neo+ da polso.

Tenere premuto il pulsante FRONT (AVANTI) (5) per accendere il Neo+
da polso.

Premere il pulsante MENU (2).
Scorrere le opzioni del menu premendo rispettivamente i pulsanti
FRONT (AVANTI) (5) e BACK (INDIETRO) (3). Premere nuovamente nella
parte inferiore (o superiore) di una schermata di menu per passare alla
schermata di menu successiva (o precedente) (vedere più avanti).
Selezionare la funzione prescelta premendo il pulsante SELECT (4)
(SELEZIONE).

Per garantirsi la ricezione del segnale, quando si è all’aperto tenersi a distanza
da palazzi e alberi alti e fare in modo di avere una visuale sgombra del cielo
sovrastante.
Uso della modalità Play Golf
1. Premere MENU
e
selezionare “Play Golf” (premere
FRONT (AVANTI) o BACK (INDIETRO), se necessario, in
testa al Menu 1 e poi premere SELECT (SELEZIONE).
Il Neo+ da polso cercherà il segnale satellitare GPS.
Acquisito il segnale satellitare, il Neo+ visualizza un
elenco di campi da golf nella zona dell’utente.
2. Scorrere l’elenco dei campi da golf con i pulsanti BACK (INDIETRO) e
FRONT (AVANTI) , quindi selezionare il proprio campo premendo il
pulsante SELECT (SELEZIONE). Il dispositivo è adesso in modalità “Play
Golf”.
3. Dopo che
è
stato selezionato un campo, la schermata principale
visualizza le distanze dalla Buca 1 dall’inizio (Front), dal centro (Center) e
dalla fine (Back) del green nonché il par. Il numero della buca corrente è
visualizzato in alto a sinistra.

Track Shot Distance (Misura distanza tiro): La presente funzione consente di
verificare con facilità la distanza tra qualsiasi dei due punti e, di norma, viene
utilizzata per misurare la lunghezza del tiro. Premere il pulsante SHOT (TIRO)
per impostare il Punto A (dove si trova il giocatore) su“0”. Dopo che il giocatore
è arrivato alla palla (Punto B), il Neo+ da polso visualizza la distanza in linea
retta tra il Punto A e il Punto B.
View Golf Menu Options (Visualizzazione delle opzioni del menu Golf):
Premere MENU per visualizzare il menu Golf, che consente di cambiare
manualmente le buche (visualizzazione dati buca successiva/precedente), di

Battery (Batteria) (A): Per controllare la carica residua della
batteria, selezionare “Battery”(Batteria) nel menu 1.
Golf Demo (Demo Golf): La selezione di “Golf Demo” nel
menu 1 offre una dimostrazione generale delle funzioni
della modalità Play Golf (Gioca a golf) senza la necessità
del segnale satellitare GPS. Questa funzione visualizza
schermate campione FCB (Front, Center, Back), Shot Distance (Distanza
tiro), Back of the Green (Fine del green), Front of the Green (Inizio del
green). Per uscire da Golf Demo, visualizzare il menu Golf e selezionare
“Exit Game”(Esci dal gioco).
La funzione Golf Demo ha soprattutto scopi dimostrativi per la rete dei
punti vendita ma consente anche di sfoggiare il Neo+ da polso davanti
agli altri golfisti nella clubhouse!
*Nota: In modalità Golf Demo, le funzioni “Change Hole” (Cambia buca) e
“Yds/Mtrs (Iarde/Metri) non sono attive.
Odometer (Odometro) (B): Dopo l’acquisizione del segnale satellitare
GPS, la selezione della funzione Odometer (Odometro)
consente di misurare distanza, velocità e tempo di attività
totale.
Alarm (Sveglia) (C): Neo+ offre una normale funzione di
sveglia. La sveglia suona all’ora impostata.
Timer (D): Neo+ Watch dispone di un timer che funziona
come un timer da cucina (timer per conto alla rovescia).
Impostare il conto alla rovescia stabilendo il limite di tempo,
e l’allarme suonerà quando il tempo è scaduto.
GPS Status (Stato GPS) (E): Una volta acquisito il segnale
dai satelliti GPS, sarà possibile visualizzare l’intensità del
segnale selezionando la schermata di stato del GPS.

Uso del menu Settings (Impostazioni)
Settings (Impostazioni) (A): Dal menu Settings (Impostazioni) è possibile
regolare ora e data (selezionare “TimeDate”), disattivare il suono dei
pulsanti (selezionare “Sound”), scegliere l’unità di misura del sistema
metrico o anglosassone (selezionare “Units”) ed eseguire un resettaggio
del sistema (selezionare “SysReset”) per ripristinare tutte le impostazioni
originali.
Time/Date (Ora/Data) (B): Questa opzione consente di impostare ora e
data nonché fuso orario, di regolare le impostazioni per gli aggiornamenti
GPS e di impostare il formato dell’ora.
Sound (Suono) (C): Questa opzione del menu consente di disattivare il
suono dei pulsanti. Se il suono dei pulsanti è impostato su “On”, il Neo+
emette un segnale acustico ogni volta che si preme un pulsante. Se il
suono dei pulsanti è impostato su “Off”, la pressione di un pulsante non
emette alcun segnale acustico.
Units (Unità di misura) (D): Questa opzionee del menu consente
di cambiare l’unità di misura del calcolo della distanza dal sistema
anglosassone a quello metrico.
System Reset (Resettaggio del sistema) (E): Questa opzione del menu
esegue il resettaggio del Neo+ da polso ripristinando le impostazioni
predefinite di fabbrica.
About (Informazioni) (F): La schermata “About” (Informazioni) visualizza
la versione di firmware/software attualmente installata ed eseguita

Registrazione e aggiornamento dei dati dei campi
da golf.
La creazione di un account (gratuito) e la registrazione del Neo+ al
operazioni consentono di aggiornare i dati GPS precaricati dei campi
e di caricare i dati di nuovi campi. La registrazione è gratuita e richiede
unicamente pochi minuti. L’avvenuta registrazione offrirà all’utente
l’accesso ai dati GPS aggiornati da utilizzare sul dispositivo.

il Neo+ da polso. Il programma di installazione è compatibile con
Windows XP, Vista e Windows 7 (Il sistema operativo Mac non è ancora

3) Completata l’installazione del driver, fare clic su Next (Avanti).
4) Il Passo 4 (opzionale) consente l’accesso a un documento pdf con
istruzioni dettagliate per l’aggiornamento del software operativo
interno del Neo+ da polso. Il documento pdf contiene un pulsante (link
Web) che consente di accedere direttamente alla Procedura Guidata
per scaricare l’aggiornamento. Si consiglia di aggiornare il software
del Neo+ da polso per garantirsi di avere le funzioni e i miglioramenti
operativi più recenti.
5) Dopo aver registrato il Neo+ da polso e installato il driver USB, ci si
troverà nella pagina Web che consente di cercare un campo da golf.
Inserire parzialmente o interamente il nome del campo e cliccare su
“Search”. In tal modo si accede ai dati dei campi da golf sul sito iGolf.
com e facendo clic su “Download GPS Course File” (Scarica file GPS
campi da golf) si ottengono gli ultimi dati aggiornati per il campo.
