technician.
Cannot turn the TV on
Poor picture
• Press the Main power button on the TV.
• Adjust the picture settings. (see page 15.)
• Connect the power cord to the AC outlet.
• Is a component signal output device, such as a
DVD player, connected correctly? (see page 5.)

(see page 13.)
The screen turns blue
• Is the BLUE BLACK function on? (see page 12.)
• If noise (snow) totally blocks out the picture,
check the following.
- Have the TV and antenna been connected prop
erly?
Remote control inoperable
• Replace the batteries. (see page 3.)
- Has the antenna cable been damaged?
- Is the antenna pointing in the right direction?
- Is the antenna itself faulty?
Buttons on front of the TV do not work
• If the TV or antenna suffer interference from
other equipment, stripes or noise may appear
in the picture. Move any equipment which can
cause interference away from the TV.
• Switch the CHILD LOCK function off. (see page
12.)

the image disappears from the screen, the
unnatural colors will also disappear.
The TV turns off suddenly
