The position of the Mode Switch controls the type of operations you can perform on the cash

to select any Mode Switch setting, while the OPERATOR Key (marked OP) can be used to  
select OFF, REG or CAL only.

Be sure that the plus (+) and minus (–) ends of each battery are facing in the  
directionsindicatedbytheillustrationsinsidethebatterycompartment(Figure1).  
4. Slidethememoryprotectionbatterycompartmentcoverbackintoplace.  
5. Replacetheprinterpaperandprintercover.  
REPLACE MEMORY PROTECTION BATTERIES AT LEAST ONCE  
EVERY YEAR.
