In the Auto mode, 2 fan indicators increase and decrease continuously  
and turn round.  
In the modes except the Auto mode, the fan speed indicator increases  
and decreases continuously and turn round each time you press the  
button. If you set the Turbo function, the fan speed indicator turns  
round with the maximum setting and speed.  
If you want to turn on/off the Display during operation,  
press the  
button on the remote control.  
The room temperature sensor senses air temperature around the  
sensor, and shows the temperature on the display.

Inserting the Remote Control Batteries  
You m ust insert or replace the rem ote control batteries w hen :  
You purchase the air conditioner  
The rem ote control does not w ork correctly

Use two AAA, LR03 1.5V batteries.  
Do not use old batteries or different kinds of batteries together.  
Batteries may be completely discharged after 12 months, even  
if they have not actually been used.

Remove the battery cover in the rear of the remote control by pushing  
it with your thumb.  
Insert two batteries, respecting the polarities as indicated by  
the + and - symbols.  
Close the cover by sliding it back in its place.

Starting w ith the next page, you w ill find a series of step -by -step procedures  
for each function available.

Selecting the Auto Mode  
You can select the Auto m ode if you w ant to cool your room autom atically.

You can select the Fan mode if you want to ventilate your room. It helps to  
refresh the air in your room. You can adjust the fan speed in this mode.

Selecting the Turbo Function  
You can select the Turbo Function if you w ant to cool your room in  
the fastest w ay. After the 30 - m inute operation w ith the m axim um  
setting, it returns to the previous setting.

Selecting the Energy Saving Function  
You can select the Energy Saving Function to save energy w hen  
cooling. The tem perature range decreases in order to perform this

You can select the Auto Cleaning Function if you w ant to sterilize  
the air conditioner or rem ove m old. Even w hen the air conditioner is  
turned off, you can set this function.

Selecting the Anions Function  
The air conditioner can generate anions w ith an ionizer in the indoor

operation.

at the appointed time. You can set the time from 30 minutes to 24 hours.

reason of protection.

If you check the following tables, you can use your air conditioner more efficiently.

Operating Your Air Conditioner Without the Remote Control  
You can operate your air conditioner directly w ithout the rem ote control.

To turn the air conditioner on, press the On/Off button in the front grille  
of the indoor unit.

you can control it with the remote control.

Troubleshooting Guide  
Before contacting the service center, check the follow ing. It w ill save your tim e and the  
expense of an unnecessary call.  
Problem

The air conditioner does not  
operate.  
Check if the circuit breaker of the air conditioner is switched on.  
Check if the air conditioner is turned on. If necessary, press the  
(On/Off) button on the remote control.  
Check if the Timer indicator on the indoor unit is on.  
If so:  
- Wait until the set time is reached and the air conditioner starts  
automatically.  
- Cancel the Timer. (See pages 20 and 21 for further details)  
The air conditioner does not  
operate with the remote control.  
Check if there are no obstacles in front of the indoor unit.  
Check the remote control batteries.  
Make sure that you are within 7 meters from the indoor unit.  
No beep is heard when you press  
Check if you are pointing the remote control at the remote control  
sensor on the right side of the indoor unit.

Cleaning Your Air Conditioner  
For the best use of your air conditioner, you m ust clean it every 2 w eeks  
to rem ove the dust that accum ulates on the air filter.  
Before cleaning your air conditioner, check if you have  
turned off the circuit breaker.

Open the front grille by pulling on the tabs on the lower right and left  
sides of the indoor unit.

Detach the front grille by pulling it forwards.

Hold the edge of the air filter under the front grille and pull to release.  
Remove all dust on the air filter with a vacuum cleaner or brush.

When you finish, insert the top of the filter into the slot and fix it to  
5 tabs of the grille.

Clean the front grille with a damp cloth and mild detergent  
(do NOT use benzene, solvents or other chemicals).  
Reassemble the air filter and the front grille.

If you have not used the air conditioner for a long time, select the  
Fan mode for 3 to 4 hours to dry the inside of the air conditioner.

Cleaning Anti-Allergy and Deodorizing Filter (Option)  
There are Anti-Allergy and Deodorizing filters inside your air conditioner.  
They rem ove odours and dust in your room . You should clean the filters  
every 3 m onths.

Open the upper front grille by pulling the lower right and left tabs of  
the grille.

Pull out the Anti-Allergy and Deodorizing filter.  
Wash the filters with clean water, then dry them in the shade.  
Insert the filters in their place.
