How can I use my headset?
Introduction
You can connect your HBH-65 headset to your mobile
phone or PC – or any device with Bluetooth wireless
technology that supports the Headset profile or the
Handsfree profile. This user’s guide focuses on how to
use the headset with your mobile phone. You need to
have a phone with built-in Bluetooth capability, or a
phone with a Bluetooth adapter connected to it. When
the headset is connected to your mobile phone, you can
use voice control to make calls (if your phone supports
this function). The phone can be tucked away in your
pocket or in a bag. You can handle incoming and
outgoing calls, and adjust the volume, using the
buttons on the headset.
The Bluetooth™ headset HBH-65
is a portable headset solution based
on Bluetooth wireless technology.
See “Guidelines for safe and efficient use” on
page 14 and “Limited Warranty” on page 16 before
using your headset.
What is Bluetooth wireless technology?
The Bluetooth wireless technology makes it possible
to connect any compatible portable and stationary
communications device without using cables.
The technology is based on a radio link that offers
fast and reliable transmission of voice and data
information. It does not require a line-of-sight
connection in order to establish communication.
Bluetooth wireless technology uses a globally
available frequency range intended to ensure
communication compatibility worldwide.

Getting started
To charge the battery
Before you can use your headset, you must first:
Charge the headset battery, using an appropriate
Sony Ericsson charger.
Pair the headset with a device, for example, a mobile
phone.

Charging
The headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery.
We recommend that you charge the battery until the
headset indicator light turns green before using the
headset for the first time. During charging, the
indicator light shows a steady red light if the headset is
turned off, and flashes red if the headset is on.
When the battery is fully charged, the indicator
shows a steady green light if the headset is off, or a
flashing green light if the headset is on.
1. Connect the charger to the headset and to the mains.
The flash symbol on the charger plug must face
upwards.
2. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours to fully recharge the battery.
3. Tilt the charger plug upwards to remove it when
disconnecting the charger.

Pairing
To turn the headset off

Press and hold the call handling button until you
hear a short high tone followed by a short low tone.
The headset indicator light switches off.

Pairing the headset with a phone
You pair the headset with the phone by adding it to a
list of paired devices in the phone. The two devices
then recognize each other when they connect. Once
you have paired your headset with the phone, you do
not need to pair it again until you want to use it with
another device.
To pair the headset with a Sony Ericsson or
Ericsson phone
To turn the headset on
1. With the headset turned off, press and hold the call
handling button for up to 10 seconds until the
indicator light on the headset flashes green and red.
2. In the phone, scroll to Extras or Connect, YES,
Bluetooth, YES, Paired devices, YES, Add device, YES,
Phone initiates, YES.

Press and hold the call handling button until you
hear a short low tone followed by a short high tone.
The headset indicator light flashes green.
Note: The first time the headset is turned on, it might
automatically be ready for pairing.
3. A list of device types that you can pair with your phone
appears. Scroll to Handsfree or Headset, YES. Make
sure that the headset is within 1 m (3 ft) of the phone.
4. HBH-65 appears in the display. Press YES.

5. Enter the headset passkey (0000), YES.

The phone pairing procedure starts.
6. You may now replace the given headset name with a
personal name tag, YES. When pairing has been
completed, the headset indicator light flashes green.
To pair the headset with another make of phone
1. Prepare your phone according to the phone’s user
documentation on pairing.
2. Press the call handling button for up to 10 seconds
until the indicator light on the headset flashes green
and red. The headset is now ready for pairing.
3. Continue according to the instructions in the phone’s
user documentation. The headset passkey is 0000.
Putting on the headset
1. Make sure the ear hook forms an angle of 90°.
2. Place the ear hook behind your ear.
3. Make sure the microphone is pointing towards
your mouth.
4. Make sure the speaker is positioned as shown in
the picture.

Using the headset
Once you have paired the headset with your phone,
you can make and receive calls using the headset as
long as it is turned on and within range of the phone –
up to 10 m (30 ft) outdoors or up to 5 m (15 ft) indoors
with no solid objects in between. For best
performance, use the headset and phone in the
same room.

If your phone supports voice dialling and it is
activated, you can use this feature with the headset.
The following instructions cover the use of the
headset with a Sony Ericsson or Ericsson phone with
built-in Bluetooth capability.
To answer a call using the call handling button
1. When the headset rings, press the call
handling button.
Note: If the phone rings first, wait until the
headset rings, then press the call handling button.
2. End the call by pressing the call handling button.
Note: Always make sure the Bluetooth operation mode
in the phone is on when using the Bluetooth headset.
To answer a second call

You have to use the phone keypad to answer and
handle a second call, but you can still use the headset
for talking and listening. You cannot use the headset
buttons during a second call. Refer to the phone's user
documentation on how to handle more than one call
simultaneously.
Making and answering calls
Phone functionality is still available when the headset
is connected. You can make and answer calls using the
buttons on the headset, or using the keys on the phone,
as usual.
To make a call using voice dialling
To reject a call
When the headset rings, press and hold the call
handling button until you hear a long beep.
1. Make sure the phone and the headset are on and within
range of each other. Press the call handling button.
2. It may take a while to set up the connection between
the phone and the headset. During this time, you might
hear a repeated tone in the headset. After the beep,
voice dial as you normally would.
Using voice commands
Voice commands are especially useful when you are
using the headset. Examples of voice commands are
dialling, re-dialling, answering and rejecting calls.
For more information on voice commands, refer to
the phone’s user documentation.

Adjusting the volume
Transferring sound from phone to headset
If you make a call using your phone, you can transfer
the sound to the headset if the headset is on, paired
with the phone, and within range.
You can adjust the headset speaker volume during
a call, or the ring volume when you are not engaged
in a call.

Note: The headset uses increasing volume. For safety
reasons, it starts with a low volume level before the

initiated, you can transfer the sound to the headset by
pressing the call handling button.

They also have to be within range of each other.
Make sure that there are no solid objects, such as walls
or furniture, in between the headset and the phone.

Resetting the headset
You may want to reset the headset to its default
settings. This also clears all current pairings.
The indicator light flashes red
This indicates that the headset has only limited talk and
standby time left. Charge the headset battery for
approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
To reset the headset
1. With the headset turned off, press and hold the call
handling button for up to 10 seconds until the
indicator light on the headset flashes green and red.
Then release the button.
2. Press and hold the call handling button again until
you hear one low beep, followed a moment later by
another two beeps. The headset is now turned off,
and has been reset.
The indicator light flashes green twice
In standby mode, the indicator light might flash green
twice rapidly at intervals of approximately 3 seconds.
This indicates that there is no mobile network within
range. Move to get a signal that is strong enough,
or try searching for a new network in the
GSM networks menu of your phone.

No indication of charging is shown
If you charge a headset battery that is empty, or has not
been used for a long time, it may take up to 30 minutes
before a light to indicate charging (a steady red light)
appears.

The headset has been exposed to extreme
temperatures. Let the headset rest for a while in room
temperature, then turn it on again.
The headset has been in pairing mode for more than
10 minutes.

recorded through your phone, record them through

Charging during a call
You should not charge the headset during a call.
The call might be disconnected.
The headset is automatically switched off
There are two reasons why the headset might be
switched off automatically:

The battery is too low. The indicator light on the
headset flashes red and you hear a low beep. Charge
the headset battery for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

Radio frequency exposure
Additional information
Your Bluetooth headset is a radio transmitter and receiver. When in
operation, it communicates with a Bluetooth equipped mobile device by
receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields
(microwaves) in the frequency range 2400 to 2500 MHz. The output
power of the radio transmitter is low, 0.001 watt.
Guidelines for safe and efficient use
Note: Read this information before using your Bluetooth headset.
Your Bluetooth headset is designed to operate in compliance with the
RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and
international health agencies when used with any compatible
Sony Ericsson or Ericsson mobile phone.
Changes or modifications to this Bluetooth headset not expressly
approved by Sony Ericsson may void the user's authority to operate
the equipment.
Please check for any exceptions, due to national requirements or

limitations, in usage of Bluetooth equipment before using this product.
Check the laws and regulations on the use of mobile phones and hands
free equipment in the areas where you drive.
Product care
Please note only Sony Ericsson service partners should remove or replace
the battery.
Always give full attention to driving and pull off the road and park before
making or answering a call if driving conditions so require.

Do not expose your product to liquid or moisture or to humidity.
Do not expose your product to extreme high or low temperatures.
Do not expose your product to lit candles, cigarettes, or cigars, or to open
flames etc.
RF energy may affect some electronic systems in motor vehicles such as
car stereo, safety equipment etc. Check with your vehicle manufacturer's
representative to be sure that your mobile phone or Bluetooth headset will
not affect the electronic systems in your vehicle.

Do not drop, throw or try to bend the product as rough treatment could
damage it.
Do not use any other accessories than Sony Ericsson or Ericsson originals
intended for use with this product. Use of non-original accessories may
result in loss of performance, damage to the product, fire, electric shock
or injury. The warranty does not cover product failures which have been
caused by use of non-original accessories.
Do not attempt to disassemble your product. The product does not
contain consumer serviceable or replaceable components. Only
Sony Ericsson service partners should perform service.
Do not keep the product in an area prone to dust and dirt. Only use a soft
damp cloth to clean your product.
If you will not be using the product for a while, store it in a place that is
dry, free from damp, dust and extreme temperatures.
Electronic equipment
Most modern electronic equipment is shielded from RF energy. However,
certain electronic equipment is not, therefore:
Do not use your Bluetooth headset near medical equipment without
requesting permission. If you are using any personal medical devices,
e.g. a pacemaker or a hearing aid, please read in your mobile phone's
User's Guide for further information.

Aircraft
Turn your Bluetooth headset OFF before boarding any aircraft.
To prevent interference with communication systems, you must
not use your Bluetooth headset while the plane is in the air.

Blasting areas
Emergency calls
Turn off all your electronic devices when in a blasting area or in areas
posted turn off two-way radio to avoid interfering with blasting
operations. Construction crews often use remote control RF devices
to set off explosives.
IMPORTANT!
This Bluetooth headset and the electronic device connected to the
hands-free operate using radio signals, cellular and landline networks
as well as user-programmed functions, which cannot guarantee
connection under all conditions. Therefore you should never rely
solely upon any electronic device for essential communications
(e.g. medical emergencies).
Remember, in order to make or receive calls, the hands-free and the
electronic device connected to the hands free must be switched on and
in a service area with adequate cellular signal strength. Emergency calls
may not be possible on all cellular phone networks or when certain
network services and/or phone features are in use. Check with your
local service provider.
Potentially explosive atmospheres
Turn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially
explosive atmosphere. It is rare, but your electronic device could
generate sparks. Sparks in such areas could cause an explosion or
fire resulting in bodily injury or even death.
Areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere are often, but not always,
clearly marked.
Power supply
Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly.
Connect the AC power adapter only to designated power sources as
marked on the product.
To reduce risk of damage to the electric cord, remove it from the outlet
by holding onto the AC adapter rather than the cord.
Make sure the cord is positioned so that it will not be stepped on,
tripped over or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug the unit from any power source
before attempting to clean it.
The AC power adapter must not be used outdoors or in damp areas.
DANGER – Never alter the AC cord or plug. If the plug will not fit into
the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Improper connection can result in risk of electric shock.
A new battery or one that has not been used for a long period of time
could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used.
Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above +55°C
(+131°F). For maximum battery capacity, use the battery in room
temperature. If the battery is used in low temperatures, the battery
capacity will be reduced.
The battery can only be charged in temperatures between +10°C (+50°F)
and +45°C (+113°F).
Placing
Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth headset
The battery in your Bluetooth headset must be disposed of properly
and should never be placed in municipal waste. The Sony Ericsson
service partner removing the battery will dispose of it according to
local regulations.
Sony Ericsson recommends that the Bluetooth headset is worn in
positions where it will not be subject to pressure since such pressure
may result in bodily injury or damage to the product.
Children
Do not allow children to play with your Bluetooth headset since it
contains small parts that could become detached and create a
choking hazard.

Limited Warranty
4. This warranty does not cover Product failures due to improper repair
installations, modifications or service performed by a non-Sony Ericsson
authorized person.

Subject to the conditions of this Limited Warranty, Sony Ericsson Mobile
Communications AB (Sony Ericsson), S-221 88 Lund, Sweden warrants
this product to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship
at the time of its original purchase by a consumer, and for a subsequent
period of one (1) year. Should your Product need warranty service,
please return it to the dealer from whom it was purchased or
contact your local Sony Ericsson Customer Care Center to get
further information.
What we will do
If, during the warranty period, this Product fails to operate under normal
use and service, due to defects in materials or workmanship, the
Sony Ericsson authorized distributors or service partners will, at their
option, either repair or replace the Product in accordance with the
conditions stipulated herein.
Conditions
Some countries/states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, or limitation of the duration of
implied warranties, so the preceding limitations or exclusions may not
apply to you.
1. The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original
purchaser by the dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial
number, is presented with the Product to be repaired or replaced.
Sony Ericsson reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this
information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of
the Product from the dealer.
The warranty provided does not affect the consumer's statutory rights
under applicable national legislation in force, nor the consumer's rights
against the dealer arising from their sales/ purchase contract.
2. If Sony Ericsson repairs or replaces the Product, the repaired or replaced
Product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original
warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair, whichever
is longer. Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally
equivalent reconditioned units. Replaced parts or components will
become the property of Sony Ericsson.
Supported Bluetooth functions
This product supports the Headset and the Handsfree profile.
3. This warranty does not cover any failure of the Product due to normal
wear and tear, or due to misuse, including but not limited to use in other
than the normal and customary manner, in accordance with instructions
for use and maintenance of the Product. Nor does this warranty cover any
failure of the product due to accident, modification or adjustment, acts of
God or damage resulting from liquid.

Das Headset ist mit einem integrierten Akku
ausgestattet. Wir empfehlen das Laden des Akkus,
bis die Anzeigelampe am Headset grün leuchtet,
bevor Sie das Headset erstmals benutzen. Während des
Ladens leuchtet die Anzeigelampe bei ausgeschaltetem
Headset ständig rot, bei eingeschaltetem Headset
blinkt sie rot.
Ist der Akku vollständig geladen und das Headset
ausgeschaltet, leuchtet die Anzeigelampe ständig grün,
bei eingeschaltetem Headset blinkt sie grün.
1. Verbinden Sie das Ladegerät mit dem Headset und
dem Stromnetz. Das Blitzsymbol auf dem Stecker des
Ladegeräts muss nach oben zeigen.
2. Das vollständige Aufladen des Akkus dauert 1 bis
1,5 Stunden.
3. Kippen Sie den Stecker des Ladegeräts nach oben,
um das Ladegerät von Headset zu trennen.

6. Sie können den vorgegebenen Headset-Namen jetzt
durch einen eigenen Namen ersetzen und die Taste YES
drücken. Sobald die Kopplung abgeschlossen ist,
blinkt die Anzeigelampe am Headset grün.
So koppeln Sie das Headset mit einem anderen
Telefonmodell:
1. Bereiten Sie das Telefon mithilfe der zugehörigen
Bedienungsanleitung auf das Koppeln vor.
2. Drücken Sie bei ausgeschaltetem Headset 10
Sekunden lang die Anrufverarbeitungstaste, bis die

Sobald das Headset mit dem Telefon gekoppelt ist,
können Sie Anrufe über das Headset tätigen und
annehmen. Voraussetzung ist, dass das Headset
eingeschaltet ist und sich innerhalb der Reichweite des
Telefons befindet. Die Reichweite beträgt außerhalb
von Gebäuden maximal 10 m und in Gebäuden
maximal 5 m, wenn sich keine massiven Objekte im
Übertragungsweg befinden. Optimale Resultate
erzielen Sie, wenn sich Headset und Telefon in einem
Raum befinden.

Zurücksetzen des Headsets
Sie müssen gelegentlich die Standardeinstellungen des
Headsets wiederherstellen. Dadurch werden auch alle
vorhandenen Kopplungen gelöscht.
Unterbrochene Verbindung zum Headset
Geht die Verbindung zum Headset während eines
Anrufs verloren, müssen Sie den Anruf durch
Drücken der Telefontaste YES zum Telefon übertragen.
Andernfalls wird der Anruf nach 30 Sekunden
beendet.
So setzen Sie das Headset zurück:
1. Drücken Sie bei ausgeschaltetem Headset 10
Sekunden lang die Anrufverarbeitungstaste, bis die
Anzeigelampe am Headset rot und grün blinkt. Lassen
Sie die Taste dann los.
2. Drücken Sie die Anrufverarbeitungstaste erneut, bis

weitere Signaltöne hören. Das Headset ist jetzt
ausgeschaltet und wurde zurückgesetzt.

Keine Tonübertragung zwischen dem Headset
und dem Telefon

befinden. Zwischen dem Headset und dem Telefon
dürfen sich keine festen Objekte befinden
(beispielsweise Wände oder Möbel).
Keine Ladeanzeige
Wenn Sie einen Headset-Akku laden, der vollständig
entladen war oder für längere Zeit nicht benutzt wurde,
kann es bis zu 30 Minuten dauern, bevor die

Informationen zu Akkus
Ein Akku weist eine lange Lebensdauer auf, wenn er ordnungsgemäß
behandelt wird.
Das Netzgerät darf nicht im Freien oder in einer feuchten Umgebung
eingesetzt werden.
GEFAHR – Nehmen Sie keine Änderungen am Netzkabel bzw.
Netzstecker vor. Passt der Stecker nicht in die Steckdose, müssen
Sie von einem Elektriker eine passende Steckdose installieren lassen.
Bei fehlerhaften Verbindungen besteht die Gefahr von Stromschlägen.
Ein neuer oder für lange Zeit nicht benutzter Akku weist in den ersten
Ladezyklen möglicherweise eine verringerte Ladekapazität auf.
Setzen Sie den Akku keinen extremen Temperaturen aus (niemals über
+55 °C). Maximale Akkuleistung erzielen Sie bei Zimmertemperatur.
Wenn der Akku bei niedrigen Temperaturen eingesetzt wird, verringert
sich die Akkuleistung.
Platzierung
Sony Ericsson empfiehlt das Tragen des Bluetooth Headsets an
Positionen, an denen es nicht gequetscht werden kann, da dies zu
Verletzungen oder Beschädigungen des Produkts führen kann.
Das Aufladen des Akkus sollte bei Temperaturen zwischen +10 °C und
+45 °C erfolgen.
Kinder
Erlauben Sie Kindern nicht, mit dem Bluetooth Headset zu spielen,
da es kleine Teile enthält, die sich ablösen können und dann ein
Erstickungsrisiko darstellen.

Seriennummer als auch das Kaufdatum des zu reparierenden bzw. zu
ersetzenden Produkts vermerkt sind. Sony Ericsson behält sich das Recht
vor, Garantieleistungen zu verweigern, wenn diese Informationen nach
dem Kauf des Produkts entfernt oder geändert wurden.

Puede conectar el auricular HBH-65 a su teléfono

El auricular lleva incorporada una batería recargable.

Para encender el auricular:
1. Con el auricular apagado, mantenga pulsado el botón
de gestión de llamadas durante 10 segundos hasta

Si carga una batería de auricular que está vacía o que
no se ha utilizado durante bastante tiempo, pueden
transcurrir hasta 30 minutos antes de que se ilumine
la indicación de carga (una luz roja fija).

El indicador parpadea en rojo
Esto indica que al auricular le queda sólo un tiempo
limitado en conversación y en espera. Cargue la batería

Exposición a energía de radiofrecuencia
Apague el auricular Bluetooth antes de subir a un avión. Para evitar

auricular Bluetooth durante el vuelo.
Este auricular Bluetooth es un transmisor y receptor de radio. Durante
su funcionamiento, se comunica con un dispositivo móvil equipado con
Bluetooth mediante la recepción y la transmisión de campos
electromagnéticos (microondas) de radiofrecuencia (RF) dentro del rango
de frecuencias de 2.400 a 2.500 MHz. La potencia de salida del

Áreas de detonación

Le casque HBH-65 Bluetooth™
périphérique Bluetooth prenant en charge le profil
Casque ou le profil Kit mains libres. Ce Guide
d’utilisation décrit essentiellement l’utilisation du
casque avec votre téléphone mobile. Vous devez
disposer d’un téléphone qui intègre la technologie
Bluetooth ou qui permet la connexion d’un adaptateur
Bluetooth. Lorsque le casque est connecté à votre
téléphone mobile, vous pouvez utiliser la commande
vocale pour émettre des appels (si votre téléphone
prend en charge cette fonction). Le téléphone peut être
glissé dans une poche ou dans un sac. A l’aide des

appels entrants et sortants ou encore régler le volume.

Pour charger la batterie

Le casque est fourni avec une batterie rechargeable
intégrée. Avant d’utiliser le casque pour la première
fois, nous vous conseillons de charger la batterie
jusqu’à ce que le voyant lumineux du casque soit vert.
Pendant le chargement, le voyant lumineux est rouge
lorsque le casque est hors tension et rouge clignotant
lorsqu’il est sous tension.
Lorsque la batterie est entièrement chargée, le voyant
lumineux est vert lorsque le casque est hors tension ou
vert clignotant lorsqu’il est sous tension.
1. Connectez le chargeur au casque et à une prise secteur.
L’éclair imprimé sur la fiche du chargeur doit être
orienté vers le haut.
2. Il faut compter entre 1 heure et 1 heure 30 pour
recharger complètement la batterie.
3. Inclinez la fiche du chargeur vers le haut pour
la détacher lorsque vous déconnectez le chargeur.

Maintenez le bouton de gestion des appels enfoncé
jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez une courte tonalité
aiguë, suivie d’une brève tonalité grave. Le voyant
lumineux du casque s’éteint.

Jumelage du casque avec un téléphone
Pour jumeler le casque avec le téléphone, ajoutez-le
à la liste des périphériques jumelés du téléphone,
de manière à ce que les deux périphériques se
reconnaissent mutuellement une fois connectés.
A partir du moment où vous avez jumelé le casque
avec le téléphone, il est inutile de répéter cette
opération tant que vous ne souhaitez pas le jumeler
avec un autre périphérique.
Pour mettre le casque sous tension

Maintenez le bouton de gestion des appels enfoncé
jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez une courte tonalité
grave, suivie d’une brève tonalité aiguë. Le voyant
lumineux du casque clignote en vert.
Pour jumeler le casque avec un téléphone
Ericsson ou Sony Ericsson
1. Le casque étant hors tension, maintenez le bouton
de gestion des appels enfoncé pendant 10 secondes
jusqu’à ce que le voyant lumineux du casque clignote
en vert et rouge.
2. Sur le téléphone, sélectionnez Extras ou Connecter,
YES, Bluetooth, YES, Dispos. jumelés, YES, Ajout
périph. ?, YES, Jumel. par tél., YES.
Remarque : Il se peut que le casque soit
automatiquement prêt pour le jumelage dès sa
première mise sous tension.

3. Une liste de types de périphériques pouvant être
jumelés avec votre téléphone s’affiche. Sélectionnez
Mains-libres ou Casque, YES. Assurez-vous que
la distance entre le casque et le téléphone n’est
pas supérieure à 1 m.
4. HBH-65 s’affiche. Appuyez sur YES.
5. Entrez la clé de liaison du casque (0000), puis appuyez
sur YES.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton de gestion des appels
pendant 10 secondes jusqu’à ce que le voyant
lumineux du casque clignote en vert et rouge.
Le casque est à présent prêt pour le jumelage.
3. Poursuivez la procédure conformément aux instructions

téléphone. La clé de liaison du casque est 0000.
La procédure de jumelage du téléphone commence.
6. Vous pouvez alors remplacer le nom du casque par
celui de votre choix et appuyer sur YES. Lorsque
le jumelage aboutit, le voyant lumineux du casque
clignote en vert.
Positionnement du casque
1. Assurez-vous que le contour d’oreille forme un angle
de 90°.
2. Placez le contour d’oreille derrière l’oreille.
3. Assurez-vous que le microphone est orienté vers votre
bouche.

4. Assurez-vous que le haut-parleur est placé de la
manière illustrée.

l’utiliser avec le casque.
Les instructions suivantes concernent l’utilisation
du casque avec un téléphone Sony Ericsson ou
Ericsson doté des fonctions Bluetooth intégrées.
Utilisation du casque
Une fois que vous avez jumelé le casque avec votre
téléphone, vous pouvez émettre et recevoir des appels
avec le casque, à condition qu’il soit sous tension et
à portée du téléphone (jusqu’à 10 mètres à l’extérieur
et jusqu’à 5 mètres à l’intérieur sans obstacle physique
interposé). Pour un niveau de performance optimal,
utilisez le casque et le téléphone dans la même pièce.
Remarque : Lors de l’utilisation du casque Bluetooth,
veillez toujours à ce que le mode d’utilisation
Bluetooth du téléphone soit activé.

Les fonctionnalités du téléphone demeurent disponibles
même lorsque le casque est connecté. Vous pouvez
émettre et recevoir des appels soit à l’aide des boutons
situés sur le casque, soit comme d’habitude à l’aide des

Résolution des problèmes

le casque et rétablir ainsi ses paramètres par défaut.
Cette opération annule également tous les jumelages
en cours.
Aucun contact sonore entre le casque et le
téléphone
Le casque et le téléphone que vous employez doivent
être jumelés pour se reconnaître mutuellement.
Ils doivent également être à portée l’un de l’autre.
Vérifiez qu’aucun obstacle physique (tel qu’un mur ou
un meuble) ne s’interpose entre le casque et le
téléphone.

Le voyant lumineux clignote en rouge
Cela signifie que le casque ne dispose plus que d’un
temps de parole et de veille limité. Chargez la batterie
du casque pendant une durée comprise entre 1 heure
et 1 heure 30.
Le voyant lumineux clignote en vert à deux
reprises
En mode veille, il se peut que le voyant lumineux
clignote rapidement en vert à deux reprises,
avec des intervalles de 3 secondes environ.
Cela signifie qu’aucun réseau mobile n’est à
proximité. Déplacez-vous pour obtenir une meilleure
réception ou essayez de rechercher un nouveau réseau
dans le menu Réseaux GSM de votre téléphone.

Source d’alimentation

Une batterie neuve ou qui n’a pas été utilisée pendant une longue période

Introduzione
È possibile collegare l’auricolare HBH-65 al telefono
portatile, al PC o a qualsiasi altro dispositivo con la
tecnologia wireless Bluetooth che supporti il profilo
Auricolare o quello Vivavoce. Questo manuale
descrive in che modo utilizzare l’auricolare con il
telefono portatile. È necessario disporre di un telefono
con tecnologia wireless Bluetooth incorporata oppure
un telefono a cui è collegato un adattatore Bluetooth.
Quando l’auricolare è collegato al telefono portatile,
è possibile utilizzare la selezione vocale per effettuare
le chiamate, se il telefono supporta tale funzione.
Il telefono può essere riposto nella tasca o in una borsa.
È possibile effettuare o ricevere chiamate e regolare il
volume di ascolto utilizzando i pulsanti dell’auricolare.

Al termine della ricarica, se l’auricolare è spento la
spia luminosa è accesa con luce verde fissa, mentre se
è acceso la spia luminosa lampeggia in colore verde.

L’auricolare viene fornito con una batteria ricaricabile

la batteria (il colore della spia luminosa deve essere
verde). Durante la ricarica della batteria, se l’auricolare
è spento la spia luminosa è accesa con luce rossa fissa,

Per abbinare l’auricolare a un telefono di un altro

1. Con l’auricolare spento, tenere premuto il pulsante
di gestione chiamata per un massimo di 10 secondi,
fino a quando la spia luminosa non lampeggia

2. Sul telefono, scorrere fino a visualizzare Strumenti
o Connetti, YES, Bluetooth, YES, Dispos. abbinati, YES,

3. Viene visualizzato un elenco di dispositivi che
è possibile abbinare al telefono. Scorrere fino
a visualizzare Vivavoce o Auricolare, YES. Assicurarsi

Come indossare l’auricolare
1. Assicurarsi che il gancio formi un angolo di 90°.

Per rispondere a una chiamata con il pulsante

1. Quando si attiva la suoneria dell’auricolare, premere
il pulsante di gestione chiamata.
Esecuzione e ricezione di chiamate
Quando l’auricolare è collegato, le funzioni del
telefono rimangono comunque attive. È quindi
possibile effettuare e ricevere chiamate utilizzando
indifferentemente i pulsanti dell’auricolare o i tasti
del telefono.
Nota: Se il telefono squilla prima dell’auricolare,
attendere che si attivi la suoneria dell’auricolare,
quindi premere il pulsante gestione chiamata.
2. Per terminare la chiamata, premere il pulsante

1. Assicurarsi che il telefono e l’auricolare si trovino
all’interno del raggio di copertura. Premere il pulsante
di gestione chiamata.
2. La connessione fra il telefono e l’auricolare potrebbe
richiedere alcuni secondi. In questo periodo di tempo,
l’auricolare potrebbe emettere ripetutamente un
segnale acustico. Dopo il segnale acustico, pronunciare
l’etichetta vocale associata al numero che si intende
chiamare.

Per rispondere a una seconda chiamata, è necessario
utilizzare la tastiera del telefono, ma è comunque
possibile utilizzare l’auricolare per parlare e ascoltare.
Durante una seconda chiamata, non è possibile
utilizzare i pulsanti dell’auricolare. Per la gestione
simultanea di più chiamate, consultare la
documentazione del telefono.
Per rifiutare una chiamata

premuto il pulsante di gestione chiamata fino

connessione all’auricolare viene perduta, premere
il tasto YES del telefono per trasferire la chiamata

terminata dopo 30 secondi.
1. Con l’auricolare spento, tenere premuto il pulsante
di gestione chiamata per un massimo di 10 secondi,
fino a quando la spia luminosa non lampeggia
alternativamente in verde e rosso. Rilasciare

chiamata finché non viene emesso un segnale acustico

Risoluzione dei problemi
Quando si ricarica una batteria completamente scarica
oppure inutilizzata per un lungo periodo di tempo,
possono essere necessari 30 minuti prima che la spia
luminosa (luce rossa fissa) si accenda.
Nessun contatto audio tra l’auricolare
e il telefono
L’auricolare, per poter essere riconosciuto, deve essere

La spia luminosa lampeggia in colore rosso
Ciò indica che la batteria dell’auricolare dispone
ancora di un tempo di autonomia limitato. Ricaricare
la batteria per circa 1 - 1,5 ore.
La spia luminosa emette due lampeggiamenti
in colore verde
In modalità standby, la spia luminosa potrebbe
lampeggiare velocemente due volte in verde,
a intervalli di circa 3 secondi.
Ciò indica che non vi sono reti all’interno del raggio
di copertura. Spostarsi fino a ottenere un segnale
di intensità sufficiente o provare a selezionare una
nuova rete nel menu Reti GSM del telefono.
L’auricolare si spegne automaticamente
L’auricolare si spegne automaticamente per due
ragioni:
La batteria è scarica. La spia luminosa dell’auricolare
lampeggia in rosso e viene emesso un segnale acustico
a tonalità bassa. Ricaricare la batteria per circa
1 - 1,5 ore.

Esposizione a energia di radiofrequenza
Spegnere l’auricolare Bluetooth prima di salire in aereo. Per evitare
interferenze con i sistemi di comunicazione, non è consentito l’uso
dell’auricolare Bluetooth durante il volo.
Questo auricolare Bluetooth è un dispositivo ricetrasmittente radio.
Durante l’uso, comunica con un dispositivo portatile Bluetooth ricevendo
e inviando segnali elettromagnetici in radiofrequenza (RF), ovvero

Aree in cui si verificano esplosioni

Assicurarsi che il cavo sia posizionato in modo tale da evitare
di calpestarlo o inciamparci o comunque di danneggiarlo o sottoporlo

Bambini
Riciclaggio della batteria dell'auricolare Bluetooth
I bambini non devono giocare con l’auricolare Bluetooth in quanto
contiene piccole parti che, staccandosi, comportano il rischio
di soffocamento.
La batteria dell’auricolare Bluetooth deve essere smaltita in modo
adeguato e separata dai rifiuti domestici. I Sony Ericsson Service Partner
incaricati della rimozione e sostituzione delle batterie si occuperanno
dello smaltimento in conformità alle normative locali.
Chiamate di emergenza
IMPORTANTE
