Warnings

Battery Precautions
•Only use specified C alkaline batteries or equivalent replacements with this unit.
•Batteries may leak or explode if recharged, inserted improperly, disposed of in
fire or mixed with different types.
•When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Batteries positioned
incorrectly may leak and cause damage to the unit.
•Never attempt to recharge conventional dry cell batteries.
•Replace only with fresh, new batteries.
•If unit will not be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent
damage or injury due to possible battery leakage.
•Keep all batteries away from children.
General Instructions
Overview
This 900MHz speaker system utilizes the latest advances in wireless transmission
technology to deliver dynamic, high-quality audio from virtually any audio/video
device, indoors and outdoors up to 150 feet away. Simply connect the transmitter
to a desired audio source: DVD, CD, TV, VCR, hi-fi system or radio to enjoy wire-
less, full-spectrum sound without complicated wiring or installation.

Transmitter Operation
1. To operate the transmitter base, slide the antenna tube over the antenna wire
until it connects with the base.
2. Plug the included AC adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. Insert the adapter connector plug firmly into the DC IN jack located on the
rear panel of the transmitter base.
4. To connect virtually any audio source (CD system, radio/cassette player, TV,
DVD, VCR, computer, etc.) to the transmitter base, insert the 3.5mm input
audio cable connector into the desired audio device’s output jack.
5. A blue POWER indicator illuminates when the AC adapter is plugged in and
an audio signal reaches the transmitter. If the indicator does not illuminate,
ensure the adapter is plugged in and the audio source is switched on.Parts

Battery Operation
1. To operate the speakers using battery power, turn over both speakers and
open the battery compartment covers located underneath.
2. Insert six C alkaline batteries (purchase separately) into each battery compart-
ment, observing proper +/- polarities as indicated.
3. Replace both battery compartment covers.
AC Operation
1. To operate the speakers using AC power, plug the included 9V power adapters
into a standard wall outlet.
2. Insert the power adapter connector plugs firmly into the DC IN jacks located
underneath each speaker.

Speaker Operation
1. To switch on the speakers, press the ON/OFF button located on the front
panel of each speaker. A blue power LED illuminates. Power may also be
switched on from the remote control.
Note: The ON/OFF button on the remote control does not function as the primary
power switch for the speakers. To operate the ON/OFF function by remote con-
trol, speaker power must be switched ON first. (See Power Off.)
2. To listen to a desired audio source through the speakers, switch on the audio
device that the transmitter base is connected to. The blue LED on the transmit-
ter illuminates.
3. Depending on location, select CHANNEL 1 or 2 on the transmitter base for
optimal performance.
4. For optimal reception, ensure the transmitter and speaker receivers are
approximately 21 feet apart.
5. To locate the strongest operating frequency, press the AUTO TUNE button
located on the front speaker panel. When the Auto Tune function is engaged,
frequency scanning begins automatically and stops when a signal is detected.
The Auto Tune function may also be activated from the remote control.
6. You should experience interference-free speaker reception during normal
room to room or outdoor operation. If interference or poor signal reception
occurs, press the AUTO TUNE button located on each speaker once (the blue
LED indicator illuminates) to locate the strongest operating frequency.
7. If peak reception remains elusive, switch the CHANNEL setting (1 or 2) on the
transmitter base, then press the AUTO TUNE button on the speakers to locate
the corresponding frequency.
8. Use the BASS BOOST function to add a fuller bass sound to any audio program.
• To switch BASS BOOST on, press the BASS BOOST button.
• To switch BASS BOOST off, press the BASS BOOST button again.

Speaker Operation
Note:
•When transmitting over long distances, the audio signal becomes weaker and
interference increases.
•If the source signal is too weak for reception, the transmitter automatically
switches off after approximately four minutes to protect the unit and save power.
If the source signal returns to an adequate level, the transmitter automatically
switches back on.
Remote Control
The remote control can be used to operate speaker Power, Auto Tune and
Volume functions.
1. To operate the speakers using the remote control, turn the remote over and
open the battery compartment cover located underneath.
2. Insert two AAA alkaline batteries (purchase separately) into the battery com-
partment, observing proper +/- polarities as indicated.
3. Replace battery compartment cover.
Note: The ON/OFF button on the remote control does not function as the primary
power switch for the speakers. To operate the ON/OFF function by remote
control, speaker power must be switched on first. (See Power Off.)
Power Off
To switch off power, press the ON/OFF button on the front panel of the speakers.
The LED light turns off. Power may also be switched off from the remote control.
When you use the remote control to power off, the speaker will switch to Standby
mode for five minutes. The LED changes from blue to green. To switch speaker
power on during Standby mode, press the ON/OFF button on the remote control.
If no signal is detected from the remote control for five minutes, the speakers
automatically switch off. If the transmitter detects no signal for approximately
4 minutes, the unit switches off automatically.
Volume Control
To adjust speaker sound level, press the +/- buttons located on the front panel of
each speaker until the desired volume is reached. The volume level may also be
adjusted from the remote control.

Troubleshooting
No Sound
•Ensure the AC adapter is securely plugged into the wall outlet and the transmitter
DC IN jack.
•Ensure the speaker POWER button is in the ON position.
•Speaker batteries may be too weak. Replace with new batteries or connect with
the included AC/DC adapter.
•Ensure the connected audio device is switched on and producing a signal.
•Ensure that the volume level is set to a moderate level.
Distortion
•Ensure the speakers and transmitter are operating on the same frequency. If not,
press the AUTO TUNE button until both units are operating on the same fre-
quency.
•Switch the CHANNEL selector position (1 or 2) on the transmitter base and press
the AUTO TUNE button on the speakers until the matching frequency is reached.
•Speaker batteries may be too weak. Replace with new batteries or connect with
the included AC/DC adapter.
•Ensure that the volume level is set to a moderate level.
•The speakers are too far from the transmitter. Move closer to the transmitter base.
•The audio signal input level is too low. Increase the volume level of the audio source.
