SI PRODUCTS sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and  
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.  
SI PRODUCTS warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under  
normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.  
To obtain warranty service on your SI PRODUCTS product, mail the product and your dated sales receipt

accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation;  
unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped  
product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended  
maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use  
during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other  
conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of SI PRODUCTS.  
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the  
product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any  
other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or  
repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water  
container.

Remote Control Battery

CAUTION: Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord  
may overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use an  
extension cord, the cord should be No.14 AWG minimum size and rated not

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS  
Insert the bottom of stand pole into the center hole of the base. Lock it into place  
by screwing on the nut. Make sure the nut is completely tightened.

4. Timer  
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS  
There are four possible timer settings: 0.5 hours, 1 (one) hour, 2 (two) hours and  
8 (eight) hours. To activate the timer and select a time setting, press TIMER

6. Overheat Protection  
The heater is equipped with a resettable heat fuse, which is activated and powers  
the heater OFF if it overheats. If this occurs, disconnect the heater from the AC  
power outlet. As soon as the heater cools down, connect it to the AC power outlet  
and you may turn it on again.

This heater is also equipped with a non-resettable heat fuse in case first heat fuse  
malfunctions. If the non-resettable heat fuse has been activated, operation cannot  
be resumed. The heater will need to be repaired by authorized SI product service  
personnel.

Using the Remote Control  
Cleaning and Storage  
Battery Installation  
We recommend that the heater be cleaned at least once a month and before  
off-season storage.  
Turn the heater OFF at the main switch and unplug it. Allow it to cool.  
• Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater.  
One CR2032 3V battery is included with the remote control. To activate the remote  
control functions, pull out the plastic pull tab protruding from the remote control  
housing. To change the battery, remove the battery drawer at the bottom back  
of the remote by squeezing the side and pulling the drawer out. Please insert the  
battery into the remote with the positive side up as shown on the drawer.  
NOTE: Always keep the battery and remote control out of the reach of children.  
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION  
• Clean your heater using the above-mentioned steps, then disassemble and  
pack the heater in its original container and store it in a cool, dry place.  
• The motor is factory lubricated and will require no further lubrication.

• Dirt and dust may be caught on the air filter, affecting the function of the device.  
Clean the air filter regularly.

To clean, turn unit OFF and unplug unit from outlet, then remove the Back Grill  
Cover on the back of the heater. Remove the air filter from the grill.  
• Wash the filter by hand in a lukewarm solution of water and detergent. Rinse the  
filter in clean water and allow it to dry thoroughly. Place the clean, dry filter back  
into the back grill and close the back grill cover.

Troubleshooting  
• Only use CR2032 3V battery with this remote control.  
• Do not mix old and new batteries.  
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable  
(ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.  
• Batteries may pose a choking hazard. Do not let children handle batteries.  
• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.  
• After opening battery door, be sure the door is properly closed and clicks shut.  
• Remove used batteries promptly. Dispose of used batteries immediately.  
• If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to  
prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.  
If the Heater Fails to Operate  
• Be sure it is plugged in and that the AC outlet is working. Check circuit breaker  
in case of a blown circuit.  
• Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction, press ON/OFF main switch  
to turn the heater OFF. Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for it to  
cool. Carefully remove the obstruction. Plug the heater back in and restart it as  
described under OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.  
• If the heater still does not operate, remove the power cord from the AC outlet  
and have the heater service by authorized SI product service personnel.  
• Please dispose of used batteries per local regulations.
