Inserting batteries  
1. Remove the battery compartment lid.  
2. Install two “R03/HP16/AAA” batteries (not supplied). Observe  
proper polarity and replace the lid.

built-in microphone is automatically disconnected.

Date and time setting  
With this function, you can always read on the display the recording  
date and time of your recorded messages (See page 8).

You can still use this unit for normal recording without setting the  
time. However, no correct recording date and time can be referred  
for your recorded massages.

Menu function  
Common procedures of menu function  
1. In the stop mode, press the MENU button briefly. The unit enters  
the menu setting mode. Only the related indicator is lit and all other  
indicators go off.  
Each time the button is pressed, the display changes as follows:

Recording  
Set the recording condition (DICT/CONF), recording quality (LP/HQ)  
and VAS function before you start recording (see pages 6-7).  
1. In the stop mode, select the desired folder (see page 6).  
2. Press the REC button. Recording starts with new file number. The  
recording LED lights.

3. To pause recording, press the REC button. “PAUSE” appears and

To view the remaining recording time, press and hold the PLAY/  
PAUSE button during recording.  
Note:  
You can record up to 99 files in one folder, not exceeding 200 files in  
total.

Playback  
Set the play mode (ONE/ALL) before you start playback (see page 7).  
1. In the stop mode, select the desired folder (see page 6).  
2. Press the eor fSKIP/SEARCH button to select the desired  
file.  
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. The recorded  
date appears briefly on the time display, then the recorded time  
remains lit.

current file. Press the button again immediately to skip back to the

Introscan  
Plays back the first 3 seconds of each file in a folder.  
1. In the stop mode, select the folder.  
2. Press the e or f button repeatedly until  
“ALL” appears.

Designated range repeat play (A-B Repeat)  
1. Press the REPEAT button during play at the

“AB REP” appears. The section between points A and B is played  
repeatedly.  
3. To return to normal play, press the REPEAT button again.

Erasing  
Erasing the selected file  
1. In the stop mode, select the folder and file.  
2. Press the ERASE button briefly. “DELETE”  
flashes.

3. While “DELETE” is flashing, press the ERASE  
button for at least 2 seconds. The selected file in  
the folder is erased. All the file numbers after the  
file that was erased are reduced by one.

1. In the stop mode, select the folder.  
2. Press the eor fSKIP/SEARCH button until “ALL” appears.  
3. Press the ERASE button briefly. “DELETE” flashes.  
4. While “DELETE” is flashing, press the ERASE button for at least  
2 seconds. All the files in the selected folder are erased.  
Erasing all folders  
1. In the stop mode, press the ERASE button briefly. “DELETE”  
flashes.  
2. PresstheRECbuttonforatleast3seconds. “FOLDER”, “ALL”and  
“DELETE” flash.  
3. While the display is flashing, press the ERASE button for at least  
2 seconds. All files in all folders are erased.  
If you do not want to erase, press the STOP/OFF button.

abgeschaltet.

Schließen Sie einen Ohrhörer (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) an  
die -Buchse an, um die Aufnahme mitzuhören oder um die Inhalt  
ungestörtabzuhören. DereingebauteLautsprecherwirdautomatisch

Datums- und Uhrzeiteinstellung  
Mit dieser Funktion können Sie immer das Aufnahmedatum und -  
uhrzeit Ihrer aufgenommenen Nachrichten auf dem Display ablesen  
(siehe Seite 21).

Sie können dieses Gerät trotzdem für normale Aufnahmen  
verwenden, ohnedieUhrzeiteingestelltzuhaben. Siehabendann  
jedoch keine korrekte Datums- und Zeitreferenz für Ihre  
aufgenommenen Nachrichten.

1. Drücken Sie im Stopp-Modus kurz die MENU-Taste. Das Gerät

Aufnahme  
Stellen Sie vor Beginn Ihrer Aufnahme die Aufnahmeumgebung  
(DICT/CONF), die Aufnahmequalität (LP/HQ) und die VAS-Funktion  
ein (siehe Seite 19 - 20).  
1. Wählen Sie im Stopp-Modus den gewünschten Ordner (siehe  
Seite 19).  
2. Drücken Sie die REC-Taste. Die Aufnahme beginnt mit einer  
neuen Dateinummer. Die Aufnahme-LED leuchtet.

3. Drücken Sie die REC-Taste, um die Aufnahme zu pausieren.  
“PAUSE” wird angezeigt und die Aufnahme-LED blinkt. Drücken  
Sie noch einmal die Taste, um die Aufnahme fortzusetzen.  
4. Beenden Sie die Aufnahme mit der STOP/OFF-Taste.  
Die verbleibende Aufnahmezeit wird angezeigt.  
Drücken und halten Sie während der Aufnahme die PLAY/PAUSE-  
Taste gedrückt, um die verbleibende Aufnahmezeit anzuzeigen.  
Hinweis:  
Sie können bis zu 99 Dateien in einem Ordner aufnehmen, maximal  
200 Dateien insgesamt.

Wiedergabe  
Stellen Sie den Wiedergabe-Modus (ONE/ALL) ein, bevor Sie die

Batterijen plaatsen

2. Plaats twee “R03/HP16/AAA” batterijen (niet meegeleverd). Let  
op de polariteit (+/–) en sluit het deksel.

Sluit een externe microfoon (niet meegeleverd) aan op de  
aansluiting. De ingebouwde microfoon wordt dan automatisch

tijdstip van uw opgenomen boodschappen bekijken (zie pagina 48).

U kunt het apparaat ook zonder de tijd in te stellen gebruiken voor  
normale opnames. Er kan dan echter geen juiste opnamedatum  
en –tijd worden weergegeven voor de opgenomen berichten.

Opnemen  
Stel de opnameomstandigheid (DICT/CONF), de opnamekwaliteit  
(LP/HQ) en de VAS functie in, voordat u met opnemen begint (zie  
pagina’s 46-47).  
1. Selecteer in de stopmodus de gewenste map (zie pagina 46).  
2. Druk op de toets REC. Het opnemen begint met een nieuw  
bestandnummer. De opname-LED brandt.

Afspelen  
Stel de afspeelmodus in (ONE/ALL), voordat u begint met afspelen  
(zie pagina 47).  
1. Selecteer in de stopmodus de gewenste map (zie pagina 46).  
2. Druk op de knop e of f SKIP/SEARCH om het gewenste  
bestand te selecteren.  
3. Druk op de toets PLAY/PAUSE om het afspelen te starten. De  
opnamedatum verschijnt kort in het tijdsdisplay, vervolgens blijft  
de opnametijd branden.

2. Tryck på REC. Inspelningen börjar med ett nytt filnummer. LED-  
lamporna för inspelning.

Colocación de las pilas  
1. Retire la tapa del compartimiento de las pilas.  
2. Coloque dos pilas “R03/HP16/AAA” (no incluidas). Compruebe

Pitido  
Se escuchará un pitido cada vez que pulse un botón, excepto en los

Ajuste de fecha y hora  
Gracias a esta función podrá ver el día y la hora en que se grabaron  
los mensajes almacenados en la unidad (consulte la página 88).

En cualquier caso, podrá utilizar esta unidad para grabar  
normalmente sin necesidad de ajustar la fecha y la hora. Sin  
embargo, no dispondrá de los datos correctos acerca del día y la  
hora en los que grabó los mensajes.

Procedimientos comunes de la función de menú  
1. En el modo de parada, pulse el botón MENU brevemente. La unidad  
entrará en el modo de ajuste del menú. Sólo se mantendrá iluminado  
el indicador relacionado con cada ajuste, y el resto se apagarán.  
Cada vez que pulse el botón, la pantalla cambia según se muestra  
a continuación:

Grabación  
Ajuste las condiciones de grabación (DICT o CONF), la calidad de  
grabación (LP o HQ) y la función VAS antes de empezar a grabar  
(consulte las páginas 86 y 87).  
1. En el modo de parada, seleccione la carpeta que desee (consulte  
la página 86).  
2. Pulse el botón REC. La grabación comienza con el número de  
archivo nuevo. El LED de grabación se ilumina.

Reproducción  
Ajuste el modo de reproducción (ONE o ALL) antes de iniciar la  
reproducción (consulte la página 87).  
1. En el modo de parada, seleccione la carpeta que desee (consulte  
la página 86).  
2. Pulse el botón e o f SKIP/SEARCH para seleccionar el  
archivo deseado.  
3. PulseelbotónPLAY/PAUSEparainiciarlareproducción.Aparecerá  
la fecha de grabación brevemente en el indicador del tiempo y, a  
continuación, aparecerá y quedará en pantalla el tiempo de  
grabación.

9. Pulse el botón STOP/OFF para detener la reproducción.

Reproduce los primeros 3 segundos de cada uno de los archivos de  
una carpeta.

Borrar el archivo seleccionado

2. Pulse brevemente el botón ERASE. “DELETE”

Asegúrese de que ha seleccionado una carpeta con mensajes

Los auriculares no deberían estar conectados.  
Limpieza de la carcasa  
Limpie el exterior de la unidad con un paño suave humedecido en  
agua templada. No utilice benceno, diluyentes ni alcohol, ya que
