2. Slid e the Do o r Op e n b utto n to o p e n the CD d o o r.  
3. Hold the d isc with the la b e l sid e up a nd p re ss it onto the sp ind le until it c lic ks” into  
p la c e .

PLAYING A MP3  
1. Inse rt a MP3 into the d isc c o m p a rtm e nt a nd c lo se the d o o r.  
2. Pre ss the Pla y/ Pa use Butto n. “CD 45 se c .” will a p p e a r in the d isp la y a nd the n c ha ng e  
to “CD MP3”, a nd “MP3” fla sh in the d isp la y. During p la ying , the MP3 a nd ESP will  
a p p e a r the d isp la y.

THE ANTI-SKIP MEMORY FUNCTION

In MP3 p la ying m o d e , the e le c tro nic a nti-sho c k func tio n is a lwa ys func tio na l while  
p la ying a nd the “ESP a p p e a r in the d isp la y.  
In CD m o d e , whe n the ESP b utto n is p re sse d d uring p la y. The “ESP ind ic a to r a p -  
p e a rs in the d isp la y a nd the d ig ita l a nti-skip func tion turns on. The d ig ita l d a ta e q uiva -

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE  
SYMPTOM

Dead or weak batteries.  
Replace both batteries.

The AC adapter not

Check the AC adapter connection at AC  
outlet and side of set.  
Disc inserted incorrectly  
Re-insert disc with label side facing up.  
Defective or wrong type

Try another audio compact disc.  
Close lid securely (push down left corner

Disc will not play.  
CD door not closed.  
Take out the CD and leave the CD door  
open for about an hour to dry the  
moisture condensation.
