Volumizer
Basic Technique for Adding Volume:
Use the hair dryer without the volumizing attachment first. Keep
the dryer at least 8" from your hair to prevent damage.
Start with high speed and temperature, keeping the dryer pointing
down the hair shaft. (This gives maximum volume and helps the
hair achieve a shiny appearance.)
When the hair is about half dry,
reduce speed and heat.
Attach the volumizer.
Bend your head forward. Starting at
the base of the neck and working
side to side in small rows, rotate the
dryer tip with volumizer fingers
about a quarter turn to wrap the
hair root and lift out. Work to the
front of the head.
(Repeat as necessary to completely dry your hair.)
Finish by holding in the COOL SHOT button and comb the volu-
mizer fingers through the length of your hair (in the direction
your hair naturally falls).

User Maintenance Instructions
When not in use, unplug the dryer, allow it to cool and store it in its
box or in a dry place. Never store it while it is hot or still plugged
in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Never hang
the appliance by the cord. Do not put any stress on the cord where
it is attached to the dryer as this could cause the cord to
fray and break.
This dryer is virtually maintenance free.
No lubrication is needed. Keep all open-
ings clear of dirt, dust and hair.
Unplug the dryer and use a damp cloth to
wipe away accumulated dirt or oils from the
exterior. The dust filter may be removed by
pulling the tabs on the sides of the cover
toward the rear and cleaned using warm sudsy
water. Allow the filter to dry before returning it
to the unit.
This appliance is equipped with a built-in safety
device which operates if extreme internal heat-
ing should occur. If this happens, the dryer auto-
matically switches to cool air only. Normal func-
tioning will resume after several seconds.

your preference.

guided through the open slot.
