MORE INFORMATION
This operation guide provides instructions for the most commonly
used aspects of this product. Additional instructions and information
INSTALLING BATTERIES
The battery compartment is on the back of the radio. Remove it by
pressing the two tabs and pulling up. Install only fresh, new alkaline
D cells, all of the same brand and type. To prevent battery acid leak-
age, follow these instructions. Battery acid leakage is not covered by
the radio’s warranty. Never install or replace with batteries of different
brands and types. Never intermix old batteries with new ones. When
not using the radio for more than 30 days, remove the batteries.
USING BATTERIES
Use 6 D size alkaline batteries. Install them with correct polarity us-
ing the diagram inside the battery compartment on the back of the
radio. Replace them if the battery strength indicator in the display
shows one bar or the sound becomes distorted. The radio will turn
off automatically if the batteries become too weak.
BATTERY LEVEL INDICATOR
The battery level indicator is in the upper left corner of the display.
When batteries are full, “
” will be displayed in the LCD; if “

flashes, it indicates that batteries are low and the radio will soon turn
off automatically.

USING AC POWER
Plug AC adapter into the socket on the left side of the radio. Use
only the AC adapter supplied. When the AC adapter is plugged in,
the full power level will show in the upper left corner of the display,
looking like a full battery. If you lose the AC adapter that came with
the radio, use one with 9 Volt DC output, negative polarity, 500
milliampere and a plug with 5.5 millimeter outer diameter, 2.1
millimeter inner diameter.
POWERING FROM A CAR OR BOAT
Use a DC to DC converter. Output: 9 Volt DC, negative polarity, outer
diameter 5.5 millimeter; inner diameter 2.1 millimeter.
TURNING ON AND OFF / SETTING AND
DEACTIVATING THE SLEEP TIMER
Turn on the radio by pressing the red POWER & SLEEP button on the
front top right corner of the radio. When it turns on you will briefly
see a sleep timer symbol in the bottom portion of the display, this
is the sleep time and the radio will play for this amount of minutes
and then shut off. It can be deactivated by continuously pressing the
power button until ‘on’ appears in the bottom of the display; with
each press you will see the numbers going down from 90 to 60 to
45 to 30 to 15 to 10 to 5 to 1 minute and then to ‘on’. When ‘on’
appears, stop pressing the button. The sleep timer is now disengaged
and you don’t have to change it unless you want a sleep time to
appear.
To activate the sleep timer, turn the radio on and press the POWER &
SLEEP button continuously until the desired sleep time appears. The
radio will play for the specified length of time and automatically shut
off. The sleep timer symbol will show in the display, “

TURNING THE S450DLX ON AND OFF
Turn on the radio by pressing the red POWER & SLEEP button on the
front top right corner of the radio. When the unit is on, press the
POWER & SLEEP again to turn the radio off.
SETTING AND DEACTIVATING THE SLEEP TIMER
To activate the sleep timer, turn the radio on and press the POWER &
SLEEP button continuously until the desired sleep time appears. The
sleep timer symbol will show in the display, “
”. With each press,
the display will show the following on/sleep options: On, 90 to 60 to
45 to 30 to 15 to 10 to 5 to 1 minute and then to ‘on’. The radio will
play for the specified length of time and automatically shut off. When
‘on’ appears, the sleep timer will be disengaged.
VOLUME KNOB
Turn up the volume by turning the volume knob (upper left of four
knobs at lower front center of radio) clockwise (right), down by turning
the knob counterclockwise (left).
POWER FAILURE BACKUP FEATURE
If batteries are in the unit and it is powered via its AC adapter, it will
automatically switch to battery use if there is an AC power failure.

USING THE LOCK BUTTON
To lock all of the keys and buttons press and hold the LOCK button
” (front top of the radio) until you see a symbol of a key appear
”
in the top, middle of the display. Press the same button for 2 seconds
to unlock it.
USING THE QUICK TUNE BUTTON
(Q.TUNE button, below the display)
To quickly tune across a band press the Q.TUNE button. It will save
you time when going to a frequency on the other end of the band.
This works on AM, FM and Shortwave.
THE TUNING KNOB CONTROLS:
STOP, SLOW, FAST
Above the tuning knob are the STOP, SLOW and FAST buttons. Pressing
STOP locks the tuning dial. Press it again to unlock it. Pressing SLOW or FAST
gives you slow tuning or fast tuning. Use which ever one that you prefer.
ANTENNA DX/LOCAL SWITCH
(right side of radio)
If the station you’re listening to is so strong that it sounds distorted,
turn this switch to the LOCAL position. Otherwise, leave it on DX,
which stands for maximum distance.

TUNING IN FM STATIONS
The FM frequency range is from 87 to 108 MHz.

Fully extend the telescopic antenna and turn on the radio.
Place the top BANDWIDTH control onto the MONO or STEREO
position. Stereo is needed only when you’re using headphones and
STEREO appears above the top left of the frequency in the display.
FM mono has better signal and noise ratio as well as anti-multiplex
interference.

Tune in the station with the TUNING knob or by pressing the UP/
DOWN button or by pressing and holding the UP/DOWN button for
one second to engage auto tuning.
BASS/TREBLE KNOBS
(lower left and right of four knobs at lower front center of radio)
Use these knobs to control the bass and treble response of the radio’s
speaker system.
USING THE AM RF GAIN KNOB
(upper right of four knobs at lower front center of radio)
When listening to AM (MW) broadcast stations, this control knob
should be dialed to or near position 5. If you are listening to a weak
station, increase the gain, when listening to extremely strong stations,
decrease the gain. For listening to Shortwave stations, place this
control to maximum gain and decrease the gain as necessary.

TUNING IN MW STATIONS (AM);
CHANGING THE TUNING STEPS
MW, or medium wave stations, known as AM stations in North
America, range from 520 to 1710 KHz in North America and from
522 to 1620 KHz in other parts of the world. In North America they
tune in 10 KHz steps and in other parts of the world they may tune
in 9 KHz steps. The radio is set up for 10 KHz tuning by default, but
to change the steps to 9 KHz, go into the battery compartment and
move the switch from 10 KHz to 9 KHz and then press the reset
button (in the front lower right of the radio) with a paper clip. The
switch is located on the middle of the ridge between the upper set
and lower set of batteries.
1. Turn on the radio.
2. Place the top BANDWIDTH switch into the W or N position (wide or
narrow). Place bottom BANDWIDTH switch into the MW position.
3. Place AM/SW RF GAIN switch into the 5 position, higher if necessary.
4. Tune in the station with the TUNING knob or by pressing the UP/
DOWN button or by pressing and holding the UP/DOWN button for
one second to engage auto tuning.
Use WIDE if no interference is present. Use NARROW if
interference is present.

TUNING IN SW (shortwave) STATIONS
1. Turn on radio.
2. Place the upper BANDWIDTH switch in the W or N position.
Place the lower switch into SW1, SW2 or SW3.
3. Place AM/SW RF GAIN control into the 10 position; decrease
if necessary.
4. SW appears in frequency range of 1711 to 29999 KHz.
5. Tune in the station with the TUNING knob or by pressing the UP/
DOWN button or by pressing and holding the UP/DOWN button for
one second to engage auto tuning.
TUNING TO SW FREQUENCY RANGES (BANDS)
Tune to these frequency ranges for best results. The radio can also
tune between these ranges.

OPTIMIZING SHORTWAVE RECEPTION
Shortwave enables listening to broadcasts over vast distances including
other countries and continents. The following information will help you
get the best results.

During the day, frequencies above 13 MHz are usually best.
At night, frequencies below 13 MHz are usually best.
Around sunset and sunrise, the entire shortwave range may be good.
Getting very close to a window and holding the radio improves
shortwave reception.
To learn about shortwave we recommend the publication below,
published yearly and available from major booksellers. Additionally,
the Internet is a great resource for learning about shortwave. Type
‘shortwave reception’ into your favorite search engine.

STORING AND RETRIEVING STATIONS INTO
AND FROM PRESETS (MEMORIES)
Tune to the station that you want to store. Press and release the T.SET
button and see ‘Preset’ with a number underneath it flash in the right
side of the display. Press the UP or DOWN buttons over and over to
find the ‘Preset’ number that you want to store it into. A quick press
of the T.SET button will finalize the entry.
Press the PRESET button continuously to retrieve the stations that
have been stored. Notice that the frequency in the display changes
and the ‘Preset’ number shows on the right side of the display.
A station cannot be erased from memory. Simply store another station
over it.

SETTING THE CLOCK
The S450DLX’s clock works in either the 12 hour or 24 hour mode.
To change the clock from one mode to another, turn the radio off,
press and hold the UP button for 5 seconds.
To set the clock:
1. Turn radio off.
2. Press and hold the T.SET button until the hour starts flashing.
3. Turn the tuning knob in either direction or press the UP button
to set the hour.
4. Quick press the DOWN button to make the minutes flash and turn
the tuning knob to set the minutes
5. Quick press the T.SET button to finalize the entry.
Do the above steps quickly or the time set mode will exit.
If it exits, simply start over.
SETTING THE ALARM CLOCK
There are two alarm clocks, Timer A and Timer B.
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Press and hold the TIMER A or TIMER B button until the hour flashes.
3. Turn the tuning knob in either direction or press the UP button to set
the hour.
4. Quick press the DOWN button to make the minutes flash and turn
the tuning knob to set the minutes.
5. Quick press whichever button you are using, TIMER A or TIMER B, to
finalize entry.

ACTIVATING AND DEACTIVATING
THE ALARM CLOCK
Press and release the TIMER A or TIMER B button. ‘Timer A’ or ‘Timer
B’ flashes in the display. While it flashes, press ALARM over and over.
A bell “
,” speaker
or nothing appears in the display next to
‘Timer A’ or ‘Timer B’. Select the bell icon to activate the alarm and
set the alarm to go off with a beeping sound. Select the speaker icon
if you wish to wake up to the last radio station tuned to. If nothing is
selected the alarm will be deactivated. Set the volume to a level you
want to hear.
USING THE SNOOZE FEATURE
(top right of radio)
To delay the alarm, the snooze feature can be activated by pressing the
SNOOZE button when the alarm turns on. Once pressed, the alarm will
activate again in 5 minutes. This can be repeated up to 4 times.
USING THE LINE IN/OUT SOCKETS
These sockets are on the right side of the S450DLX, an 1/8 inch stereo
type (3.5 mm). An external audio device (such as an MP3 player) can be
played by connecting an AUX line from the device into the Line-In socket.
The Line-Out socket can be used to feed audio from the S450DLX to
amplified external speakers.
USING THE EARPHONE JACK
The earphone jack can be used with stereo headphones using an 1/8
inch (3.5 millimeter) plug. FM sound is in stereo if the signal is sent in
stereo and the ST position is selected with the BANDWIDTH switch.

EXTERNAL ANTENNAS
FM/SW EXT. ANT. – this socket, on the back of the radio is primarily
for antennas designed to be fed with 50 or 75 ohm coaxial cable,
such as dipoles or comparable antennas. It can also be used for long
wire antennas. Use F plugs for feeding this socket.
ANT. SENS SWITCH: EXT or INT
(right side of radio)
Use this switch to enable the use of FM or SW internal or external antennas.
MW EXT. ANT. – This is a 500 ohm impedance socket, for use with long wire
antennas.
USING THE GRUNDIG AN200 ANTENNA FOR
IMPROVED AM(MW) PERFORMANCE
(not included)
The AN200 AM broadcast band (MW) loop antenna or any similar model
does not need to be plugged in, simply set it next to the radio and tune it
to the same frequency that the radio is tuned to. Swivel the radio and the
antenna to achieve maximum performance. This antenna can be purchased
by contacting Eton or one of our distributors. Call us for details.

USING THE AM IF OUT SOCKET
(back of radio)
Use this F socket to access an amplitude modulated intermediate
frequency output for use in receiving DRM signals. It can also be used
for other types of radio frequency experimentation. We do not provide
support for this feature. To find out more about it, enter ‘DRM digital
radio mondial’ or ‘AM intermediate frequency output for DRM’ or
‘AM intermediate frequency output’ on an internet search site or look
up these terms in a radio electronics book or in an encyclopedia. to
access an amplitude modulated intermediate frequency output for
use in receiving DRM signals. It can also be used for other types of
radio frequency experimentation. We do not provide support for this

LIGHT BUTTON
(right top of radio)
Press this button to light the display for a few seconds. When using the
AC adapter pressing it for 3 seconds will permanently light the display.
KEY LIGHT SWITCH
(right side of radio)
Flip this switch to ON to make the keys light when they are pressed.
Flip it to OFF to turn off this feature.

TO RESET THE S450DLX
If the radio malfunctions or doesn’t work properly, insert a paper clip
into the hole on the front lower right side. Make sure the paper clip is
inserted until the display reappears.

WARRANTY – If your product is still in warranty and the Etón

return authorization will be issued and instructions for shipment to
an authorized warranty repair facility. Do not ship your radio back

INSTALLATION DES PILES
Le compartiment à piles est à l’arrière de la radio. Retirez-le en appuyant
sur les deux onglets et en tirant. Installez uniquement des piles neuves,
alcalines de type bouton D, et il faut que toutes les piles soient de la
même marque et du même type. Pour éviter une fuite d’acide des piles,
suivez ces instructions. Une fuite d’acide des piles n’est pas couverte
par la garantie de la radio. N’installez et ne remplacez jamais des piles
avec des marques et des types différents. Ne mélangez jamais de veilles
piles avec des neuves. Lorsque vous n’allez pas utiliser la radio pour une
période supérieure à 30 jours, retirez les piles.
USAGE DES PILES
Utilisez 6 piles alcalines de taille D. Installez-le en respectant la bonne
polarité en utilisant le dessin à l’intérieur du compartiment à piles
à l’arrière de la radio. Remplacez-le si l’indicateur de puissance des

Pour faire une syntonisation rapide dans une bande appuyez sur le
bouton Q.TUNE. Il va vous faire économiser le temps nécessaire pour

LES COMMANDES DE LA MOLETTE DE

Au dessus de la molette de syntonisation il y a les boutons STOP,

déverrouiller. Le fait d’appuyer sur LENT et RAPIDE vous permet de

La gamme de fréquences va de 87 à 108 MHz.

Dépliez complètement l’antenne télescopique et allumez la radio.
Placez la commande largeur de bande sur la position MONO ou
STEREO. Stéréo est nécessaire uniquement lorsque vous utilisez
des écouteurs et STEREO apparaît au dessus en haut à gauche de
la fréquence sur l’affichage. FM mono a un signal meilleur et un
ratio signal sur bruit meilleur également en tant qu’anti-multiplex
interférence.

UTILISATION DE LA MOLETTE DE GAIN RF AM

Lors de l’écoute des stations d’émission en AM (OM), cette molette
de contrôle doit être ajustée sur ou à proximité de la position 5. Si
vous écoutez une station faible, augmentez le gain, lors de l’écoute
de stations extrêmement puissantes, diminuez le gain. Pour l’écoute
des stations en ondes courtes, placez cette commande sur le gain
maximum et diminuez le gain si nécessaire.
SYNTONISATIONS DES STATIONS EN ONDES
MOYENNES (Appelées en Amérique du nord AM);
CHANGEMENT DES PAS DE SYNTONISATION
OM, ou stations en ondes moyennes, connues comme stations AM
en Amérique du Nord, sont une gamme de fréquences de 520 à
1710 KHz en Amérique du nord et de 522 à 1620 KHz dans le reste
du monde. En Amérique du Nord on syntonise avec des pas de 10
KHz et ailleurs on peut syntoniser avec des pas de 9 KHz. La radio
est configurée pour une syntonisation par défaut à 10 KHz, mais
pour changer les pas en 9 KHz, allez dans le compartiment à piles et
déplacez l’interrupteur de 10 KHz sur 9 KHz et puis appuyez sur le
bouton de réinitialisation (sur la partie droite inférieure de la radio)
en utilisant un trombone. L’interrupteur est situé au milieu du rebord
entre l’ensemble supérieur et l’ensemble inférieur des piles.

DES ONDES COURTES
Les ondes courtes permettent d’écouter des émissions sur des grandes
distances y compris d’autres pays et continents. Les informations suivantes
vous aideront à obtenir les meilleurs résultats.

Durant la journée, les fréquences au dessus de 13 MHz sont gé-
néralement meilleures.
La nuit, les fréquences en dessous de 13 MHz sont généralement
meilleures.
Au coucher et lever du soleil, la gamme entière des ondes courtes
peut être bonne.
Être très près d’une fenêtre et maintenir la radio améliorent la récep-
tion des ondes courtes.
Pour se renseigner sur les ondes courtes nous recommandons les

STOCKAGE ET RAPPEL DES STATIONS VERS ET
À PARTIR DES PROGRAMMES (MÉMOIRES)
Syntonisez sur la station que vous voulez stocker. Appuyez et relâchez
le bouton T.SET (réglage de l’heure) et apparaît ‘Preset’ avec un
numéro clignotant en dessous dans le côté droit de l’affichage.
Appuyez sur les boutons HAUT ou BAS plusieurs fois pour trouver le
numéro de ‘Programme’ (‘Preset’) dans lequel vous voulez stocker la
station. Une pression rapide sur le bouton T.SET pour terminer.
Appuyez sur le bouton PROGRAMME (PRESET) continuellement pour
rappeler les stations qui ont été stockées. Notez que la fréquence à
l’affichage change et le numéro de ‘Programme’ s’affiche sur le côté
droit de l’affichage.
Une station ne peut pas être effacée de la mémoire. Stockez simple-
ment une autre station par desssus cette dernière.
RÉGLAGE DE L’HORLOGE
L’horloge de la radio S450DLX fonctionne en mode 12 ou 24 heures.
Pour changer l’heure d’un mode à l’autre, éteignez la radio, appuyez
et restez appuyé sur le bouton HAUT pendant 5 secondes.
Pour régler l’horloge:
1. Éteignez la radio.
2. Appuyez et restez appuyé sur le bouton T.SET (réglage de l’heure)
jusqu’à ce que les heures commencent à clignoter.
3. Tournez la molette de syntonisation dans une des directions ou ap-
puyez sur le bouton HAUT pour régler les heures.
4. Appuyez rapidement sur le bouton BAS pour faire clignoter les min-
utes et tournez la molette de syntonisation pour régler les minutes
5. Appuyez rapidement sur le bouton T.SET pour terminer le réglage.
Faites les étapes ci-dessus rapidement ou le mode de réglage de
l’heure va disparaître. S’il disparaît, recommencez simplement.

RÉGLAGE DE L’HEURE D’ALARME
Il y a deux horloges d’alarme, Minuterie A et Minuterie B.
1. Éteignez la radio.
2. Appuyez et restez appuyé sur le bouton MINUTERIE A (Timer A) ou
MINUTERIE B (Timer B) jusqu’à ce que les heures clignotent.
3. Tournez la molette de syntonisation dans une des directions ou
appuyez sur le bouton HAUT pour régler les heures.

souhaitez vous réveiller en écoutant la station syntonisée sur la radio. Si
rien n’est sélectionné l’alarme sera désactivée. Réglez le volume sur un
niveau qui vous convient.
UTILISATION DE LA FONCTIONNALITÉ
RÉPÉTITION D’ALARME (SNOOZE)

Pour retarder l’alarme, la fonctionnalité de répétition d’alarme peut
être activée en appuyant sur le bouton SNOOZE lorsque l’alarme est

UTILISATION DES PRISES D’ENTRÉE/SORTIE DE LIGNE
Ces fiches sont sur le côté droit de la S450DLX, de type stéréo 1/8 de
pouce (3.5 mm). Un appareil audio externe (tel qu’un lecteur MP3)
peut être écouté en connectant la ligne AUX à partir du périphérique
dans la prise Entrée de ligne. La prise Sortie de ligne peut être utilisée
pour transmettre l’audio de la S450DLX vers des haut-parleurs
externes amplifiés.
UTILISATION DE LA JACK POUR ÉCOUTEURS
La jack pour écouteurs peut être utilisée avec des écouteurs stéréo
en utilisant une fiche de 1/8 pouce (3.5 millimètres). Le son FM est
en stéréo si le signal est transmis en stéréo et que la position ST est

simplement à proximité de la radio et syntonisez-la sur la même
fréquence que celle de la radio. Faites pivoter la radio et l’antenne

INSTALACIÓN DE LAS BATERÍAS
El compartimiento para baterías se encuentra en la parte posterior de
la radio. Retire la tapa presionando las dos lengüetas y halando hacia
arriba. Instalé únicamente pilas tipo D alcalinas, nuevas, todas de la
misma marca y tipo. Para evitar fugas de ácido de batería, siga estas
instrucciones. Las fugas de ácido de batería no están cubiertas por la ga-
rantía de la radio. Nunca instale o reemplace las baterías con diferentes
marcas y/o tipos. Nunca se deben mezclar pilas nuevas con usadas.
Cuando no vaya a utilizar la radio por más de 30 días, retire las pilas.
USO CON BATERIAS
Utilice 6 baterías alcalinas tamaño D. Instale las baterías con la polaridad
correcta siguiendo el diagrama dentro del compartimiento de baterías
en la parte posterior de la radio. Cámbielas si el indicador de carga de la
batería en la pantalla muestra una barra o si se distorsiona el sonido. La
radio se apagará automáticamente cuando la carga de las baterías no
sea suficiente.

USO CON ALIMENTACIÓN AC
Conecte el adaptador AC al enchufe en el costado izquierdo de la
radio. Use sólo el adaptador AC suministrado. Cuando el adaptador
AC está enchufado, el nivel de potencia completa aparecerá en la
esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla con la imagen de una batería
completa. Si pierde el adaptador AC que viene con la radio, utilice uno
con una salida de 9 voltios DC, polaridad negativa, 500 miliamperios
y un enchufe de 5,5 mm de diámetro exterior y 2,1 milímetros de
diámetro interior.

Utilice un convertidor de DC a AC. Salida: 9 voltios de corriente

ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO / AJUSTE Y
DESACTIVACIÓN DE TEMPORIZADOR PARA DORMIR
Encienda la radio pulsando el botón rojo POWER & SLEEP en la esquina
superior derecha frontal de la radio. Cuando se encienda, usted verá
brevemente un símbolo de temporizador de apagado en la parte inferior
de la pantalla, este es el tiempo de apagado y la radio reproducirá por
esa cantidad de minutos para luego apagarse. Se puede desactivar pre-

USO DEL CONTROL DE GANANCIA RF AM

Al escuchar estaciones que transmitan en AM (MW), esta perilla de
control debe estar cerca de la posición 5. Si está escuchando una
emisora débil, aumente la ganancia, al escuchar a las estaciones
extremadamente fuerte, disminuya la ganancia. Para escuchar las
estaciones de onda corta, coloque este control para obtener la
ganancia máxima o disminuir la ganancia según sea necesario.
SINTONIZADO DE ESTACIONES MW
(en América del Norte llamado AM);
CAMBIO DE LOS PASOS DE SINTONIZADO
La MW, o estaciones de onda media, conocidos como las estaciones de
AM en América del Norte, están dentro del intervalo 520 a 1710 KHz
en América del Norte y 522 a 1620 KHz en otras partes del mundo. En
América del Norte se sintoniza en pasos de 10 KHz y en otras partes del
mundo se sintoniza en pasos de 9 KHz. La radio está configurada para
sintonizar en pasos de 10 KHz, pero para cambiar a pasos de 9 kHz, vaya
al compartimento de las pilas y mueva el interruptor de 10 KHz a 9 KHz y

Sintonice la emisora que desee almacenar. Pulse y suelte el botón

en la que desea almacenar. Presione brevemente el botón T.SET para

Pulse el botón PRESET (PREESTABLECIDA) continuamente para

de 24 horas. Para cambiar el reloj de un modo a otro, apague la radio,

Para ajustar el reloj:
1. Apague la radio.
2. Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón T.SET hasta que la hora
comience a parpadear.
3. Gire la perilla de sintonización en cualquier dirección o pulse el

Para retrasar la alarma, la función de SIESTA se puede activar pulsando

ZUSÄTZLICHE INFORMATIONEN

Das Batteriefach befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Radios. Nehmen

WECHSELSTROM (AC)- BETRIEB

AC-Netzadapter eingesteckt ist, zeigt die Batterieanzeige oben links in der
Ecke des Displays ein voll aufgeladenes Batteriesymbol an. Bei Verlust des
mitgelieferten AC-Netzadapters nur einen mit 9 Volt DC, Minuspolen, 500
mAmp und einem Stecker mit 5,5 mm Außendurchmesser und 2,1 mm
Innendurchmesser als Ersatz verwenden.

Das Radio durch Drücken auf die rote POWER & SLEEP Taste vorne oben
rechts in der Ecke auf dem Radio einschalten. Nach dem Einschalten ist für
kurze Zeit das Sleeptimer-Symbol unten auf dem Display zu sehen, das Radio
spielt für die angegebene Zeitspanne und schaltet sich automatisch ab. Der
Sleeptimer kann durch mehrmaliges Drücken der Ein-Taste ausgeschaltet
werden bis “on” unten auf dem Display angezeigt wird; mit jedem Drücken
werden die Zahlen von 90,60,45,30 ,15,10 ,5 , 1 Minuten bis zu ‘on’
herunter gezählt. Bei “on” die Taste nicht mehr drücken. Der Sleeptimer
ist nun ausgeschaltet und kann bei Bedarf wieder eingeschaltet werden.

Das Radio durch Drücken auf die rote POWER & SLEEP Taste vorne
oben rechts in der Ecke auf dem Radio einschalten. Wenn das Gerät
eingeschaltet ist, die POWER & SLEEP Taste erneut drücken, um das
Radio auszuschalten.
SLEEPTIMER EINSTELLEN UND DEAKTIVIEREN
Den Sleeptimer durch mehrmaliges Drücken auf die POWER & SLEEP
Taste aktivieren bis die gewünschte Sleeptimer-Zeit erscheint. Das
Sleeptimer-Symbol wird auf dem Display angezeigt, “
”. Mit
jedem Drücken werden die Zahlen von 90,60,45,30 ,15,10 ,5 , 1
Minuten bis zu ‘on’ im Display angezeigt. Das Radio spielt für die
angegebene Zeitspanne und schaltet sich automatisch ab. Bei “on”
ist die Sleeptimerfunktion ausgeschaltet.
LAUTSTÄRKEREGLER
(Regler oben links von vier Reglern vorne in der Mitte des Radios)
Mit Drehen des Reglers im Uhrzeigersinn (nach rechts) Lautstärke
erhöhen, Lautstärke durch Drehen entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn
(nach links) verringern.
BACKUP-FUNKTION NACH STROMAUSFALL
Wenn im Gerät Batterien eingelegt sind und es mit dem AC-
Netzadapter angeschlossen ist, schaltet das Gerät automatisch auf
Batterieversorgung bei Stromausfall um.

Um alle Tasten zu sperren, die LOCK-Taste gedrückt halten ”

um die Tastensperre zu beenden.
SCHNELLTUNER TASTE VERWENDEN
(Q.TUNE Taste am Display unten)
Um ein Senderband schnell zu suchen die Q.TUNE Taste drücken. Das
spart Zeit wenn sich eine Frequenz am Senderband-Ende befindet.
Funktioniert bei MW, UKW und Kurzwelle.
SENDEREINSTELLUNGSREGELUNG:
STOP, LANGSAM, SCHNELL
Über dem Sendereinstellungsregler befinden sich die Tasten STOP,
LANGSAM und SCHNELL. STOP sperrt die Senderwählregelung.
Erneut drücken, um fortzufahren. Mit SLOW oder FAST langsame
oder schnelle Sendersuche. Nach Belieben verwenden.
ANTENNEN DX/LOKAL-SCHALTER
(Radio rechte Seite)
Wenn der Radiosender wegen zu starken Empfangs verzerrt klingt, den
Schalter auf LOCAL stellen. Sonst auf DX für den Maximalabstand belassen.

UKW-SENDEREINSTELLUNG
Der UKW-Frequenzbereich reicht von 87 bis 108 MHz.

Teleskop-Antenne voll ausziehen und Radio einschalten.
Den BANDWIDTH Regler auf MONO oder STEREO stellen. Stereo ist bei
Kopfhörern notwendig und es erscheint STEREO oben links über der
Frequenzanzeige im Display. UKW-Mono besitzt besseren Signal- und
Rauschabstand und eine Anti-Multiplex Interferenzfunktion.

Den Sender mit dem TUNING-Regler einstellen, die UP/DOWN-Pfeiltaste
drücken oder die UP/DOWN-Taste eine Sekunde lang gedrückt halten,
um die automatische Sendersuche zu starten.
BASS/HÖHEN REGLER
(Regler unten links und rechts von 4 Reglern vorne unten am Radio)
Mit diesen Reglern können Bässe und Höhen der Radiolautsprecher
eingestellt werden.
VERWENDUNG DES AM RF GAIN REGLERS
(oben rechts von 4 Reglern vorne unten am Radio)
Bei Hören eines MW-Radiosenders sollte dieser Regler auf oder nahe
Position 5 stehen. Bei einem Radiosender mit schwachem Empfang
Regler hochdrehen, bei starkem Empfang herunter drehen. Bei
Kurzwellensendern diesen Regler auf Maximum stellen und den
Empfang falls nötig reduzieren.

MW-SENDERSUCHE (Nordamerika: AM);
SENDERSUCHSCHRITTE ÄNDERN
MW, ODER Mittelwellensender in Nordamerika AM –Sender haben einen
Bereich von 520 bis1710 KHz in Nordamerika und von522 bis 1620 KHz
auf der übrigen Welt. In Nordamerika betragen die Abstände 10 kHz und
auf der übrigen Welt 9 kHz. Das Radio ist auf 10 kHz voreingestellt und
um auf 9 kHz zu ändern das Batteriefach öffnen und den Schalter von 10
auf 9 kHz umstellen und die Reset-Taste mit einer Büroklammer drücken.
Der Schalter befindet sich in der Mitte zwischen den unteren und oberen
Mulden im Fach.
1. Radio einschalten.
2. Den oberen BANDWIDTH Schalter auf W oder N stellen (breit oder
schmal). Den unteren BANDWIDTH Schalter auf MW stellen.
3. Den AM/SW RF GAIN Schalter auf 5 stellen, ggf. höher.
4. Sender mit dem TUNING Regler oder durch Drücken der UP/DOWN
Taste einstellen oder die UP/DOWN Taste 1 Sekunde gedrückt halten,
um die automatische Sendersuche zu starten.
WIDE wenn keine Interferenzen vorliegen. NARROW bei Interferenzen.
KURZWELLENSENDERSUCHE
1. Radio einschalten.
2. Den oberen BANDWIDTH -Schalter auf W oder N stellen. Den
unteren Schalter auf SW1, SW2 oder SW3 stellen.
3. Die AM/SW RF GAIN Kontrolle auf 10 stellen; wenn nötig verringern.
4. Die KW (Kurzwelle) hat einen Frequenzbereich von 1711 bis 29999 KHz.
5. Sender mit dem TUNING Regler oder durch Drücken der UP/DOWN Taste
einstellen oder die UP/DOWN Taste 1 Sekunde gedrückt halten, um die
automatische Sendersuche zu starten.

SENDER SPEICHERN UND AUFRUFEN VON

Den Sender der gespeichert werden soll, einstellen. Die T.SET Taste
drücken und loslassen bis ‘Preset’ mit einer Zahl unten rechts im
Display blinkt. Die UP oder DOWN Tasten solange drücken, bis die
gewünschte “Preset” Nummer angezeigt wird unter die gespeichert
werden soll. Die T.SET Taste nochmals schnell drücken, um die Eingabe
zu bestätigen.
Die PRESET Tasten fortlaufend drücken um die Sender aufzurufen, die
gespeichert wurden. Die Frequenz ändert sich in der Anzeige und die
“Preset” Nummer wird rechts am Display angezeigt.
Ein Sender kann nicht aus dem Speicher gelöscht werden. Einfach
mit einem anderen Sender überschreiben.
UHR STELLEN
Die Uhr des S450DLX zeigt die Zeit im 12 oder 24 Stunden-Modus an.
Um den Uhrzeit-Modus zu ändern, das Radio ausschalten, und die UP-
Taste 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.

Uhr stellen:
1. Radio ausschalten.
2. Die T.SET Taste gedrückt halten bis die Stundenziffer blinkt.
3. Den Sendereinstellungsregler drehen oder die UP-Taste drücken

4. Die DOWN-Taste schnell drücken, dass die Minutenziffern blinken
und mit dem Regler die Minuten einstellen.
5. Die T.SET Taste schnell drücken, um die Eingabe abzuschließen.
Die obigen Schritte schnell ausführen oder der Uhrzeitmodus wird
beendet. In diesem Fall Vorgang wiederholen.

SNOOZE-FUNKTION (SNOOZE)

Um den Alarm zu verzögern kann die Snooze-Funktion durch Drücken
der Snooze-Taste aktiviert werden wenn der Alarm ertönt. Bei einmal
Drücken der Snooze-Taste ertönt der Alarm in 5 Minuten erneut. Dies
kann 4-mal wiederholt werden.
LINE-IN EINGANGS/AUSGANG SBUCHSEN
Diese Buchsen befinden sich auf der rechten Seite des S450DLX und
sind 1/8 Zoll Stereo (3.5 mm) Klinke. Ein externes Audiogerät (z.B.
ein MP3 Player) kann mit einem AUX-Kabel an die Line-In Buchse
angeschlossen werden. An die Line-Out 8ausgangs) Buchse können
Lautsprecher mit Verstärker an den S450DLX angeschlossen werden.
KOPFHÖRERBUCHSE
Die Kopfhörerbuchse ist mit 1/8 Zoll (3,5 mm) Klinke an Stereokopfhörer
anschließbar. UKW-Klang ist Stereo wenn das Signal Stereo übertragen
wird und die ST mit dem BANDWIDTH Schalter ausgewählt wurde.

Bei Verwendung eines AC-Netzadapters leuchtet die Anzeige ständig,

Diese Taste auf ON (Ein) stellen wenn die Tastenbeleuchtung eingeschaltet
werden soll. Für Ausschalten der Beleuchtung Schalter auf OFF stellen.
RESET Des S450DLX
Wenn das Radio Fehlfunktionen hat oder nicht richtig funktioniert,
eine Büroklammer in das Loch unten rechts auf der Vorderseite
einführen. Die Büroklammer sollte ganz eingeführt sein bis die
Anzeige wieder erscheint.

INSTALLAZIONE DELLE BATTERIE
L’alloggiamento delle batterie si trova sulla parte posteriore della
radio. Estrarlo premendo le due linguette e tirando verso l’alto. Servirsi
unicamente di batterie nuove, alcaline, a cella D, della stessa marca e
dello stesso tipo. Per evitare perdite di acido dalle batterie, attenersi
alle seguenti istruzioni. La perdita di acidi dalle batterie non è coperta
dalla garanzia della radio. Non installare o sostituire mai con batterie
di marche e tipi diversi. Non mescolare mai batterie vecchie e nuove.
Quando la radio non viene usata per un periodo superiore ai 30 giorni,
togliere le batterie.
UTILIZZO DELLE BATTERIE
Utilizzare 6 batterie alcaline dimensione D. Installarle con la polarità
corretta servendosi dello schema all’interno dell’alloggiamento delle
batterie sulla parte posteriore della radio. Sostituirle quando l’indicatore
di carica nel display visualizza solo una barra o quando si avvertono delle
distorsioni nel suono. La radio si spegnerà in modo automatico quando le
batterie sono troppo scariche per garantirne il corretto funzionamento.
INDICATORE DI LIVELLO DELLE BATTERIE
L’indicatore di livello delle batterie si trova nell’angolo superiore sinistro del
display. Quando la batterie sono completamente cariche, sul display LCD

UTILIZZO DELL’ALIMENTAZIONE CA
Collegare l’alimentatore CA alla presa sul lato sinistro della radio. Servirsi
unicamente dell’alimentatore CA in dotazione. Quando viene collegato
l’alimentatore CA, nell’angolo superiore sinistro del display comparirà il
livello di carica completo, che assomiglia a una batteria completamente
carica. Nel caso in cui sia stato perso l’alimentatore CA in dotazione con
la radio, utilizzarne uno con un’uscita CC da 9 Volt, polarità negativa, 500
milliampere e una presa con un diametro esterno di 5.5 millimetri e 2.1
millimetri di diametro interno.

Servirsi di un convertitore da CC a CC. Uscita: 9 volt CC, polarità negativa,
diametro esterno di 5.5 millimetri; diametro interno 2.1 millimetri.
ACCENSIONE E SPEGNIMENTO / IMPOSTAZIONE
E DISATTIVAZIONE DEL T IMER DI SPEGNIMENTO
Accendere la radio premendo il tasto rosso POWER & SLEEP sull’angolo
superiore anteriore della radio. All’accensione, comparirà per alcuni secondi
un simbolo di timer spegnimento nella parte inferiore del display; si tratta
dell’orario di spegnimento, quindi la radio funzionerà per questo quantitativo
di minuti prima di spegnersi. Questa funzione può essere disattivata premendo
continuamente il tasto di accensione fino a che nella parte inferiore del
display non compare “on”’; a ogni pressione del tasto si vedranno i numeri
diminuire, da 90 a 60 a 45 a 30 a 15 a 10 a 5 a 1 minuto per poi passare su
“on”’. Quando compare “on”’, sarà possibile smettere di premere il tasto. A
questo punto il timer di spegnimento è stato disattivato; non sarà necessario
modificare questa impostazione a meno che non si desideri attivare un timer
di spegnimento.
Per attivare il timer di spegnimento, accendere la radio e premere
ripetutamente il tasto POWER & SLEEP fino a che non compare il
tempo di spegnimento desiderato. La radio funzionerà per la durata
indicata prima di spegnersi in modo automatico. Il simbolo del timer
di spegnimento automatico comparirà sul display “

IMPOSTAZINE E DISATTIVAZIONE DEL
TIMER DI SPEGNIMENTO
Per attivare il timer di spegnimento, accendere la radio e premere
ripetutamente il tasto POWER & SLEEP fino a che non compare il
tempo di spegnimento desiderato. Il simbolo del timer di spegnimento
automatico comparirà sul display “
”. A ogni pressione, il display
visualizzerà la seguenti opzioni di accensione/spegnimento: On, da 90 a
60 a 45 a 30 a 15 a 10 a 5 a 1 minuto e poi “on”. La radio funzionerà
per la durata indicata prima di spegnersi in modo automatico. Quando
compare “on”, il timer di spegnimento sarà disattivato.
MANOPOLA DEL VOLUME
(superiore sinistra delle quattro manopole sulla parte inferiore anteriore della radio)
Alzare il volume ruotando la manopola del volume in senso orario
(destra), abbassarlo ruotando la manopola in senso antiorario (sinistra).
FUNZIONE DI BACKUP IN CASO DI
INTERRUZIONE DI CORRENTE
Nel caso in cui le batterie si trovino nell’unità e vengano alimentate
tramite alimentatore CA, passeranno automaticamente in modalità
batterie in caso di interruzioni di corrente.

UTILIZZO DEL TASTO QUICK TUNE
(SINTONIZZAZIONE RAPIDA, tasto Q.TUNE, sotto al display)
Per sintonizzarsi rapidamente su una banda, premere il tasto Q.TUNE.
Questa opzione vi consentirà di risparmiare tempo quando ci si deve
spostare a una frequenza all’estremità opposta della banda. La funzione
è operativa con AM, FM e Onde Brevi.
I CONTROLLI DELLA MANOPOLA DI
SINTONIZZAZIONE: STOP, LENTO, VELOCE
Sopra alla manopola di sintonizzazione ci sono i tasti STOP, LENTO e
VELOCE. Premendo STOP di blocca la manopola di sintonizzazione.
Premerlo nuovamente per sbloccarla. Premendo SLOW o FAST per
una sintonizzazione lenta o veloce. Utilizzare quello che si preferisce.
ANTENNA DX/INTERRUTTORE LOCALE
(lato destro della radio)
Nel caso in cui la stazione che si sta ascoltando sia a un volume eccessivo,
tanto da essere distorta, ruotare l’interruttore in posizione LOCAL. In caso
contrario, lasciarlo su DX, che indica la Distanza Massima.

SINTONIZZAZIONE DELLE STAZIONI FM
La gamma di frequenza FM varia da 87 a 108 MHz.

Estendere completamente l’antenna telescopica e accendere la radio.
Posizionare il controllo superiore BANDWIDTH (Ampiezza di banda) in
posizione MONO o STEREO. Stereo è richiesto solo quando si stanno
usando delle cuffie e nella parte sinistra della frequenza che si sta
ascoltando compare STEREO. Il segnale mono FM ha un segnale e un
noise ratio migliore oltre che interferenze anti-multiplex.

Sintonizzarsi sulla stazione con la manopola di sintonizzazione o
premendo il tasto UP/DOWN o ancora premendo e tenendo premuto
il tasto UP/DOWN per un secondo per attivare la funzionalità di
sintonizzazione automatica.
MANOPOLE BASSI/ALTI
(manopola inferiore sinistra e destra della quattro manopole sulla parte inferiore
anteriore della radio)
Servirsi di queste manopole per controllare la risposta dei bassi e
degli alti del sistema degli altoparlanti della radio.
UTILIZZO DELLA MANOPOLA GAIN AM RF
(superiore destra delle quattro manopole sulla parte centrale anteriore della radio)
Quando si ascoltano trasmissioni AM (MW), questa manopola di
controllo dovrebbe trovarsi in posizione 5 o nelle immediate vicinanze.
Nel caso in cui si stia utilizzando una stazione debole, aumentare il
gain; quando invece si ascoltano funzioni forti, abbassare il gain. Per
ascoltare stazioni in Onde Brevi, posizionare questo controllo sul gain
al massimo e diminuire il gain a seconda delle necessità.

SINTONIZZAZIONE DELLE STAZIONI MW
(in Nord America chiamate AM); MODIFICA
DEGLI STEP DI SINTONIZZAZIONE
Le MW, oppure stazioni a onde medie, note come stazioni AM in Nord
America, spaziano dai 520 ai 1719 KHz in Nord America e da 522 a
1620 KHz in altre parti del mondo. In Nord America si sintonizzano con
step di 10 KHz; in altre parti del mondo lo step potrebbe invece essere
di 9 KHz. La radio è stata impostata per step di 10 KHz in fabbrica, ma
per modificare gli step e impostarli su 9 KHz sarà sufficiente accedere
all’alloggiamento batterie e spostare l’interruttore da 10 KHz a 9 KHz e
quindi premere il tasto reset (nella parte inferiore destra anteriore) della
radio con un clip metallico. L’interruttore si trova sulla parte centrale del
ponte fra il gruppo superiore e quello inferiore di batterie.
1. Accendere la radio.
2. Posizionare l’interruttore BANDWIDTH superiore in posizione W o N (largo o
stretto). Posizionare l’interruttore BANDWIDTH inferiore in posizione MW.
3. Posizionare l’interruttore AM/SW RF GAIN in posizione 5 o superiore
se necessario.
4. Sintonizzarsi sulla stazione con la manopola di sintonizzazione o premendo il
tasto UP/DOWN o ancora premendo e tenendo premuto il tasto UP/DOWN
per un secondo per attivare la funzionalità di sintonizzazione automatica.
Utilizzare WIDE se non è presente nessuna interfaccia. Utilizzare
NARROW se è presente un’interfaccia.

SINTONIZZAZIONE DELLE STAZIONI SW (Onde Brevi)
1. Accendere la radio.
2. Posizionare l’interruttore BANDWIDTH superiore in posizione
W o N. Posizionare l’interruttore inferiore su SW1, SW2 o SW3.
3. Posizionare l’interruttore AM/SW RF GAIN in posizione 10;
diminuire se necessario.
4. SW appare nella gamma di frequenza di 1711 a 29999 KHz.
5. Sintonizzarsi sulla stazione con la manopola di sintonizzazione o premendo il
tasto UP/DOWN o ancora premendo e tenendo premuto il tasto UP/DOWN
per un secondo per attivare la funzionalità di sintonizzazione automatica.

OTTIMIZZAZIONE DELLA RICEZIONE
DELLE ONDE BREVI
Le onde corte consentono di ascoltare trasmissioni trasmesse molto
lontano, anche in altri paesi e in altri continenti. Ecco alcune informazioni
per ottenere risultati ottimali.

Nel corso della giornata funzionano solitamente meglio le frequenze
superiori ai 13 MHz.
•

Di notte operano invece meglio le frequenze inferiori ai 13 MHz.
All’alba e al tramonto l’intera gamma delle onde corte funziona
correttamente.

Per migliorare la ricezione delle onde corte si consiglia di avvicinarsi
a una finestra e di tenere la radio in mano.

CONSERVAZIONE E MEMORIZZAZIONE DELLE
STAZIONI IN E DA PRESET (MEMORIE)
Sintonizzarsi sulla stazione che si desidera salvare. Premere e rilasciare
il tasto T.SET; nel lato destro del display comparirà “Preset” con un
numero sotto che lampeggia. Premere i tasti SU o GIU ripetutamente
per trovare il numero di “Preset” in cui si vuole salvare. Premendo
rapidamente il tasto T.SET si provvederà a finalizzare l’inserimento.

Premere ripetutamente il tasto PRESET per recuperare le stazioni
salvate. Si prega di notare che la frequenza nel display varia e che i
numeri di “‘Preset” compaiono sul lato destro del display.
Non sarà possibile eliminare una stazione dalla memoria. Sarà
sufficiente salvarne un’altra sopra.
IMPOSTAZIONE DELL’OROLOGIO
L’orologio del dispositivo S450DLX funziona sia in modalità 12 ore che
in modalità 24 ore. Per modificare l’orologio da una modalità all’altra,
spegnere la radio, premere e tenere premuto il tasto UP per 5 secondi.
Per impostare l’orologio:
1. Spegnere la radio.
2. Premere e tenere premuto il tasto T.SET fino a che l’ora non
inizia a lampeggiare.
3. Ruotare la manopola di sintonizzazione in qualsiasi direzione e
premere il tasto UP per impostare l’ora.
4. Premere rapidamente il tasto DOWN per far lampeggiare i minuti
e ruotare la manopola di sintonizzazione per regolare i minuti.
5. Premendo rapidamente il tasto T.SET si provvederà a finalizzare l’inserimento.
Eseguire velocemente i passaggi sopra indicati altrimenti si uscirà
dalla modalità di impostazione dell’ora. Nel caso in cui si esca da
questa modalità sarà sufficiente ripartire.

IMPOSTAZIONE DELLA SVEGLIA
Ci sono due sveglie, Timer A e Timer B.
1. Spegnere la radio.
2. Premere e tenere premuto il tasto TIMER A o TIMER B fino a che
l’ora non lampeggia.
3. Ruotare la manopola di sintonizzazione in qualsiasi direzione e
premere il tasto UP per impostare l’ora.
4. Premere rapidamente il tasto DOWN per far lampeggiare i minuti
e ruotare la manopola di sintonizzazione per regolare i minuti.
5. Premere rapidamente il tasto TIMER A o TIMER B per completare
l’inserimento.
ATTIVAZIONE E DISATTIVAZIONE DELLA SVEGLIA
Premere e rilasciare il tasto TIMER A o TIMER B. “Timer A” o “Timer
B” lampeggia sul display. Mentre lampeggia, premere ripetutamente
ALARM. Una campana “
,” un altoparlante “ “ o nulla compare
sul display vicino a “Timer A” o “Timer B”. Selezionare l’icona della
campana per attivare l’allarme e impostarne il suono con un bip.
Selezionare l’icona altoparlante se si vuole svegliarsi con l’ultima stazione
su cui ci è sintonizzati. Nel caso in cui non venga selezionato nulla
l’allarme sarà disattivato. Impostare il volume sul livello che si preferisce.
UTILIZZO DELLA FUNZIONE SNOOZE
(in alto a destra della radio)
Per ritardare l’allarme, la funzione snooze può essere attivata premendo
il tasto SNOOZE quando l’allarme si attiva. Dopo essere stato premuto,
l’allarme si riattiverà dopo 5 minuti. Questa operazione può essere
ripetuta fino a un massimo di 4 volte.

UTILIZZO DELLE PRESE LINE IN/OUT
Queste prese si trovano sul lato destro del S450DLX, e sono di tipo stereo
da 3,5 mm. Sarà possibile riprodurre brani contenuti in dispositivi audio
esterni (come ad esempio lettori MP3) collegandoli come AUX dal dispositivo
nell’ingresso Line-In. La presa Line-Out può invece essere usata per fornire
audio dal dispositivo S450DLX ad altoparlanti esterni amplificati.
UTILIZZO DELLA PRESA CUFFIE
La presa cuffie può essere usata con jack stereo servendosi di una presa da
3,5 millimetri. L’audio FM è in stereo se il segnale viene inviato in stereo e
la posizione ST viene selezionata con l’interruttore BANDWIDTH.
ANTENNE ESTERNE
FM/SW EXT. ANT. – questa presa, sulla parte posteriore della radio, è
stata pensata per antenne la cui alimentazione giunge tramite un cavo
coassiale da 50 o 75 ohm, come ad esempio antenne a dipolo o simili.
Può anche essere usato per antenne con cavi lunghi. Utilizzare prese F
per alimentare questa antenna.
ANT. SENS SWITCH: EXT o INT
(lato destro della radio)
Utilizzare per attivare l’uso di antenne interne o esterne FM o SW.
MW EXT. ANT. – C’è una presa con impedenza di 500 ohm, da usare
con antenne a cavo lungo.

PER PRESTAZIONI MIGLIORI AM (MW)
(non in dotazione)
L’antenna AN200 AM (MW) o modelli simili non necessita di essere
collegata; sarà sufficiente posizionarla vicino alla radio e sintonizzarla
sulla stessa frequenza su cui è sintonizzata la radio. Ruotare la radio
e l’antenna per ottenere prestazioni ottimali. Questa antenna può
essere acquistata contattando Eton oppure uno dei nostri distributori.

UTILIZZO DELLA PRESA AM IF USCITA
(parte posteriore della radio)
Utilizzare questa presa F per accedere a un’uscita intermedia di
ampiezza modulata da usare per la ricezione di segnali DRM. Può
anche essere usata per altri tipi di prove di frequenze radio. Non
forniamo assistenza per questa funzione. Per ulteriori informazioni

INTERRUTTORE KEY LIGHT

Portare questo interruttore su ON per far illuminare i tasti quando
vengono premuti. Spostarlo su OFF per disattivare questa funzione.
PER RESETTARE S450DLX
Nel caso in cui la radio non funzioni correttamente, inserire un clip
all’interno del foro sul lato destro inferiore anteriore. Verificare che
resti inserito fino a che non riappare il display.

La radio è coperta da garanzia per un anno. Per assicurare una copertura
completa su eventuali aggiornamenti, completare la registrazione del
