INTRODUCTION
In the U.S.A., if you have any problems with this
C ongratulations on purchasing the G em ini EX-26 m ixer!
This state of the art m ixer is backed by a three-year
w arranty, excluding crossfader and channel slides. W e
know you’re anxious to hook everything up and start m ixing
beats and cranking up the volum e on those hot dance
tracks, but we suggest reading this instruction m anual first
as there are really cool features on this m ixer that w e
w ouldn’t w ant you to m iss!

The EX-26 M ixer features a crossfader w hich controls a
super-quiet photo coupler to give you sm ooth operation and
the cleanest possible sound, along w ith a "ham ster" sw itch
that is easily accessible on the front of the m ixer. This
“ham ster” sw itch reverses the direction of the m ain
crossfader. This m ixer also features individual “ham ster”
switches for the separate channel input faders as w ell.
For additional inform ation, refer to the diagram s on pages 1
& 2 for crossfader adjustm ent and channel slide curve.

original carton and packaging. This w ill reduce the risk of
dam age during transit.

O kay, let’s hook everything up!
1. M ake sure that the POW ER (1) switch is in the “O FF”
position. This unit com es supplied w ith a 15 volt AC
adaptor. Plug the adaptor into the rear panel pow er jack.
Then plug the adaptor into your pow er strip or outlet.

2. The EX-26 m ixer is supplied w ith 3 sets of output jacks.
The BALANCED MASTER OUTPUT (2) jacks are used to
connect to your m ain am plifier using standard cables w ith
1/4” connectors. W e recom m end using the balanced am p
outputs if the cables to your am p are 25 feet or m ore.
BALAN C ED M ASTER O U TPU TS have three separate
conductors, tw o of w hich are signal (positive and negative)
and one shield (ground). The balanced line uses a tip-ring-
sleeve connection. Tip = hot or positive (+), ring = cold or
negative (-), and sleeve = shield/ground.

The MASTER OUTPUT (3) jacks are unbalanced and are
also used to connect to your m ain am plifier. The REC
OUTPUT (4) jacks can be used to connect the m ixer to the
record input of your recorder enabling you to record your
m ix.

Das EX-26 Mischpult bietet einen Überblender, der einen
superruhigen Phono-Koppler für reibungslosen Betrieb und
äußerst sauberen Klang regelt, zusammen mit einem
”Hamster”-Schalter, der von der Vorderwand des
Mischpults aus zugänglich ist. Dieser ”Hamster”-Schalter
schaltet in die Rückwärtsrichtung des Hauptüberblenders.
Dieses Mischpult verfügt ebenfalls über individuelle
”Hamster”-Schalter für die separaten Kanal-

von 45 Grad mit denen der Schalterabdeckplatte
ausgerichtet sind, setzen Sie die Schrauben wieder ein und
dann verschrauben Sie sie fest.

transversal) el cual controla un fotoacoplador super quieto
para darle un funcionamiento sin problema y una calidad
sonora muy elevada, así como un interruptor “hamster”
fácilmente accesible en el frente del mezclador. Este
interruptor “hamster” invierte la dirección del crossfader
principal. Este mezclador también incorpora interruptores
“hamster” individuales para los distintos atenuadores de

26 de Gemini! Ce mélangeur ultramoderne est
accompagné d’une garantie de trois ans, à l’exclusion du
crossfader et des voies coulissantes. Nous nous rendons
compte que vous voulez raccorder tout sans tarder,
commencer à mélanger les sons et hausser le volume de
vos chansons en vogue. Toutefois, nous vous suggérons
de lire d’abord ce manuel de fonctionnement. En effet, ce
mélangeur comporte des caractéristiques tout à fait
superbes que vous ne voudriez pas rater!
4. N’exposez pas cet appareil aux rayons directs du soleil
ni à une source de chaleur tel qu’un radiateur ou un
poêle.
5. Ne nettoyez cet appareil qu’avec un chiffon hum ide.
Évitez l’em ploi de solvants ou de produits détergents de
nettoyage.

Le mélangeur EX-26 comporte un crossfader qui
commande un photo-accoupleur supersilencieux pour vous
donner un fonctionnement sans problème et le son le plus
pur, ainsi qu’un interrupteur “hamster” facilement
accessible sur le devant du mélangeur. Cet interrupteur
“hamster” renverse le sens du crossfader principal. Ce
mélangeur comporte également des interrupteurs “hamster”
individuels pour les faders d’entrée séparés. Pour d’autres

Evitare solventi o altri detergenti.
Il mixer EX-26 è caratterizzato da un crossfader che
controlla un fotoaccoppiatore super-silenzioso che ti offre
performance regolari e un suono chiarissimo, assieme ad
un interruttore "hamster" facilmente accessibile dal
pannello anteriore. L’interruttore “hamster” inverte la
direzione del crossfader principale. Il mixer è provvisto
inoltre di interruttori “hamster” singoli per ciascun fader di
ingresso dei canali.
6. Per trasportare questa apparecchiatura, riporla nella
scatola con il materiale di imballaggio di provenienza. In
questo modo si riduce il rischio di danni durante il trasporto.
7. Non esporre questo apparecchio alla pioggia o
all’umidità.
8. Non usare spray detergenti o lubrificanti su nessun
controllo o interruttore.

riportati a pagina 1 e 2 riguardo alla regolazione del
crossfader e alla curva dei cursori dei canali.

Okay, colleghiamo il tutto!
1. Controllare che l’interruttore di alimentazione
POWER
si trovi su “OFF”. Questa unità è dotata di adattatore di

c.a. da 15 volt. Collegare l’adattatore al jack di corrente sul
pannello posteriore. Quindi collegare l’adattatore alla presa
di corrente.
• Controlli tono Gain, High, Mid e Low per ciascun canale
• Uscite master bilanciate e non bilanciate
• Uscite registrazione
2. Il mixer EX-26 viene fornito con 3 set di jack di uscita.

BALANCED MASTER

1. Leggere tutte le istruzioni prima di adoperare questa
apparecchiatura.
Le uscite BALANCED MASTER OUTPUT hanno tre
conduttori separati, di cui due per i segnali (positivo e
negativo) e uno protetto (massa). La linea bilanciata utilizza
una connessione del tipo “punta-anello-bussola”. Punta =
sotto tensione o positivo (+), anello = fuori tensione o
negativo (-) e bussola = protezione/massa.
2. Trattare l’apparecchio come qualsiasi altra
apparecchiatura elettrica e con giudizio!
3. Per ridurre il rischio di scosse elettriche, non aprire
l’apparecchio. NON CONTIENE PARTI SOSTITUIBILI
DALL’UTENTE. Affidare tutte le riparazioni a un tecnico
specializzato.

Rimuovere quindi il pannello inferiore.
2) Togliere le 2 viti dagli angoli del pannello di interruttori
assign. Far ruotare il pannello degli interruttori nella
posizione voluta, reinserire le viti e stringerle.
3) Per portare l’interruttore a un angolo di 45 gradi, occorre
farlo dal pannello degli interruttori assign. Prima di tutto
togliere le 2 viti dagli angoli del pannello di interruttori
assign. Sollevare quindi il pannello e togliere le 2 viti più
piccole accanto all’interruttore. Far ruotare il pannello di
interruttori verso destra finché i fori corrispondenti a 45
gradi non combaciano con i fori degli interruttori, quindi
reinserire le viti e stringerle. Reinstallare il pannello e
fissarlo.
9. SEZIONE CUE - Collegando una cuffia al jack
