Removes total dissolved solids (TDS) by using a
mix of cation and anion resin
Especially useful on low capacity flash steamers
and warrmers that are not emptied each day
Reduces scale build-up
Sanitary cartridge replacement is simple, quick
and clean. Internal filter parts are never exposed
to handling or contamination

Install vertically with cartridge hanging down
Change cartridges on a regular 6 month
preventative maintenance program

Allow 2-1/2” clearance below the cartridge for
easy cartridge replacement
Change cartridges when capacity is reached or
when pressure falls below 10 psi
Capacity: 1,600 grains or 103,000 ppm
Flush cartridge by running water through filter
for three minutes at full flow
To determine cartridge life, divide total capacity
of cartridge (1,600 grains or 103,000 mg) by the
TDS in grains per gallon (gpg) or milligrams per
liter (ppm), respectively
Always flush the filter cartridge at time of
installation and cartridge change
Use plastic tubing after DM cartridge
