TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
TIPS ON JUICING
THE INSIDE INFORMATION ON JUICE
Although juice drinks are usually developed with VEGETABLES
flavour, texture and aroma at the forefront, the
health benefits certainly add to the pleasurable
taste experience.
PURCHASING AND STORAGE OF FRUIT AND
POSSIBLE PROBLEM
Will not work
EASY SOLUTION
• Always use fresh fruit for juicing.
Switch not ‘On’
• Select fruit with firm, smooth skins and
free of blemishes.
Arm not lowered
95% of the nutrient content of fruit and
vegetables is found in the juice. Liquids are an
important part of a well balanced diet. Fresh
juice is an easy source of vitamins and minerals.
Juices are rapidly absorbed into the blood
stream therefore being the quickest way in
which the body can digest nutrients.
• Valencia oranges are ideal for juicing.
Cone or Dome not assembled properly
Make sure pulp filter is aligned correctly
• Select medium sized grapefruits, lemons
and limes for easier juicing.
• Other citrus fruits such as mandarins,
also known as tangerines, and pomelos
will yield very little juice.
Citrus juice is renowned for its high content of
Vitamin C and cold and flu fighting capabilities.
• Citrus fruits can be stored at room
temperature in a dry area.
Freshly extracted juices should be consumed just
after they have been made to avoid vitamin
content loss.
• More juice is obtained from fruit stored
at room temperature.
