term in al’s EIA port is re -con figu red as a 10BaseT (Twisted-Pa ir)

t erm in al em ulat ion .
For exa m ple, a u s er logs on to a UNIX s ys tem , a n d s elects
th e h ost em u lation to be AT386 (u sin g th e com m an d
TERM=AT386 <CR> followed by set TERM<CR>). At th is poin t,
th e u s er m u s t m a ke s u re th a t th e term in a l em u la tion is a ls o
set to AT386 (by en terin g th e term inal setu p an d ch eckin g
th e em u la tion pa ra m eter).

fou n d on th e local n etwork is s en t to th e IP a d d res s of th e
defau lt gateway for rou tin g to oth er n etworks.

Poweron Con n ect m ode. Th e s election s h ou ld be s et to Yes if
im m edia te con n ection to th e h ost is desired a t poweron . Th e
term in a l will u s e th e NVRAM va lu es (s ee Save Settings for
Powerup) to es ta blis h th e con n ection .
