SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS  
1. Do not use this TV near dripping or splashing water. Do not use any liquids near this TV.

Base Stand Assembly Instruction  
1. Place theTV with the display sidedown  
on a flatsurface.Use a clothto protect.  
Locate the bottomat the stand.  
2. Fix thebottom with turningthe screw  
tightly on thestand.  
INSTALLATION NOTES  
This TV can be connected to an AC 100-240 Volts, 50/60 Hz power supply. Never connect  
straight to a DC power supply.  
Locate the TV in a room where light does not strike the screen directly. Total darkness or a  
reflection on the screen can cause eyestrain. Soft and indirect lighting is recommended for  
comfortable viewing.  
Allow enough space between the TV and the wall to permit ventilation.  
Avoid excessively warm locations to prevent possible damage to the cabinet or premature  
component failure.

INSTALLATION  
WALL MOUNTING INSTALLATION GUIDELINES  
This television can be wall mounted as follows:  
1.Place the LED LCD Television onto a solid surface. Please place some soft material over  
the front ofthe screen to protect it fromany damage.  
2.Remove the screws from the lower part of the television, where the base joins to the  
TV, and take away the stand (put the stand somewhere safe for future use).  
3.Use the four screws provided to fix the TV onto a wall mounting bracket (not included)  
via the four VESA standard holes on the back of the television.

Teletextis an informationsystem broadcasted bycertain channels whichwill provide  
detailed program information. It also offers access tosubtitles for viewerswith hearing  
problems or whoare not familiarwith the transmissionlanguage(cable networks,  
satellite channels, etc.)

This is usedto access and/orexit the Teletext mode.Asummary will  
appear with alist of itemsthat can beaccessed. Each itemhas a 3digit  
page number. If the channelselected does notbroadcast teletext, 100  
will be displayedand the screenwill remain blank(in this case, exit  
teletext and selectanother channel).  
Toview a specificpage enter thepage number requiredby using the  
Numeric Buttons. Thenumber will bedisplayed on thetop left. The  
page counter willturn until thepage is displayed. Repeat this operation  
to view anotherpage. If thecounter continues tosearch, this means  
that the pageis not transmitted.  
SELECTING A PAGE  
The coloured buttonscorrespond to thecolour options atthe bottom of  
the screen. Thefour coloured keysare used toaccess the itemsor  
corresponding pages. Thecoloured areas flashwhen the itemor the

DVD OPERATION  
Remote Control - DVD section  
2:Numeric keys:Press to setthe time, selecttitle, chapter ortrack  
you wish toplay. Pressthe ENTER/OK Buttonto confirm. Whena  
VCD is playing(with PBC off),press the Numerickeys to selecta  
track directly.  
5:DVD MENU:During DVD playback, press MENU todisplay the  
disc menu.  
9:DVD SETUP:Press to enterthe system settingmenu. Press again  
to exit themenu.  
11:Play/Pause:Press to beginplay of theDVD of mediayou wish to  
view. Pressagain to pauseplay.  
12:STOP:Press to stopplay of theDVD you arewatching at anytime.  
13: A-B:Press to repeata segment ofthe disc youare watching  
between Aand B. (DVDmode)  
14:TITLE:Press to displaythe DVD MainMenu.  
15:REV:Press to rewindplay in DVD, CD MP3 orVCD mode. Press  
repeatedly to scrollthrough rewind speeds. Press the Play/Pause  
Button to resumeplay.  
16:FWD:Press to fast-forwardplay in DVD, CD MP3 orVCD mode.  
Press repeatedly toscroll through fast-forwardspeeds. Press the  
Play/Pause Button toresume play  
17:RETURN:Press to returnto the MainMenu.  
18:DISPLAY:Press to showthe information ofthe current playing  
disc.  
21:EJECT:Press the EjectButton in conjunctionwith the Open/Close  
Button the backof the unitto Eject yourDVD.  
22:GOTO:For DVD discs, press to choosethe desired titleand  
chapter and searchthe desired title, time and chaptertime. For  
Super VCD,VCD,CD discs, press this buttonto search thedesired  
disc time andtrack time andchoose the desiredtrack.  
Note: During VCDplayback, the PBCmode must beset to OFF.  
24:OK:Press to confirm.

31:ANGLE:Press to viewscenes shot fromdifferent angles. (Disc  
support is required)  
32:PBC:During VCD/SVCD playback, press PBC tocontrol PBC  
ON/OFF.  
33:NEXT:During DVD,CD,MP3, orVCD playback, pressNEXT to  
play the nextchapter, titleor track.  
34:PREV:During DVD, CD,MP3, or VCD playback, press PREV  
to play theprevious chapter, title or track.  
35:SUBTITLE:Press to choosedifferent captions (Requiressupport  
from disc).  
37:FREEZE:Press to freezethe picture youare watching.

MENU OPERATION  
Press the Setup Button on the remote control to display the DVD Setup Menu. Once in the Setup Menu  
use the Cursor Buttons to select your desired Settings. Then press theENTER/OK Button to confirm.  
To exit the Setup Menu, press the Setup Button again.  
In the Setup Menu, you may choose any of the following options:  
LANGUAGE SETUP  
Use the Cursor Buttons in the Setup Menu to select the Language option and display the Language  
sub-menu:  
OSD Language  
The OSD Language allows you to set Subtitle or change the on-screen display language.  
Subtitle  
This option provides the preset subtitle language.  
MPEG4 Subtitle(optional)  
Select different MPEG4subtitle encoding option.  
Note: Not all players support this item.  
Audio  
This option allows you to change the Audio Language of the DVD you wish to play.  
DVD Menu  
This option provides the film's menu language options.  
VIDEO SETUP  
Select Video in the setup menu to display the Video submenu:  
SYSTEM SETUP  
Aspect Ratio  
In the VideoSetup Menu use the Cursor Buttons to select the aspect ratio.  
Notes:  
The image display ratio is related to the recorded disc format. Some discs may not be able to format to  
the aspect ratio of your choice.  
TV System  
In the VideoSetup Menu use the Cursor Buttons to select the differentTV systems.

RATING SETUP  
The Rating setup allows youto lock playof certain ratedmovies/DVDs. Use theCursor Buttons to  
select the Ratingoption in theSetup menu andto display theRating submenu:  
Parental Control  
The Parental ControlSetting allows youto lock theDVD Player. You must enter thedefault password  
(6666) before settingyour own password.  
Setting the Password  
Once you haveentered the defaultpassword you willbe asked toinput a fourdigit code ofyour choice.  
Press the ENTER/OkButton to confirm.  
Note: If youforget your password, you can usethe universal password6666 to unlock.  
MISC Setup  
Use the CursorButton in theSetup Menu toselect the MISC Menu and to displaythe sub-menu:  
Use Default Settings  
This allows youto reset yourDVD settings andgo back tothe factory defaultsetting. This willerase all  
previous settings.

When playing anMP3, WMA, JPEGor MPEG4 discthe above screenwill appear. Tonavigate this menu,  
use the Buttonsto scroll throughthe directory optionsor to selecttracks or filesyou wish toplay.  
Press Enter/OK Buttonsto confirm anyselections.  
Filter:This option allowsyou to filterand categories yourfile list inthe directory menu.  
Repeat: This option allowsyou to seta desired trackto repeat.  
Mode:The Mode optionallows you toscroll through thebelow playing modes:  
Normal:This will playthe tracks orfiles in theorder they appearin the directory.  
Shuffle:The Shuffle mode allows thetracks and orfiles to beplayed at random.  
Edit Mode:This option allowsyou to editthe directory andfiles and tracksdisplayed. Use theCursor  
Buttons to selecttracks or filesyou wish toedit and pressthe Enter/OK Button. Toexit the EditMode or  
cancel press theexit button.  
Program View:This option allowsyou to displaythe track orfile directly.  
Browser View:This option allowsyou to displaytrack directory.  
Add to Program:This option allowsyou to createyour own playlistin the trackdirectory.  
Clear program:This option allowsyou to clearany playlists youhave created.  
PICTURE CD PLAYBACK  
When you wishto view Picturefiles, the belowdirectory will show.  
Tonavigate this menu, use the Buttonsto scroll throughthe directory optionsor to selecttracks or  
files you wishto play.Press Enter/OK Buttonsto confirm anyselections.

Troubleshooting

NO PICTURE ORSOUND  
Ensure the powerbutton is on.  
Ensure the poweroutlet is operational.  
Ensure the powercord is notdamaged.  
Ensure the powerplug is connectedfirmly to theoutlet.  
PICTURE BUT NOSOUND  
Ensure the audiois not setto mute.  
Ensure you haveset the player's Audio settingscorrectly.  
POOR PICTURE ORSOUND  
Ensure you haveset the player's Audio settings correctly  
Ensure the discis not scratchedor stained.  
Disc Error Displayed  
Ensure the discis not warped, damaged or deformed.  
Ensure the discis not badlystained or damaged.  
Ensure the discformat is compatiblewith the player.  
Please check whetheryou have triedto play asoftware CD. If so, please restartthe  
player.  
REMOTE NOT WORKING  
Make sure theMain unit's POWER buttonis on.  
Ensure the remotebatteries are working.  
Point the remotecontrol directly atthe player's IR sensor.  
Remove any obstaclesbetween the remoteand the IRsensor.  
UNIT NOT WORKING  
Turn offthe power, and then turn it on again.  
"NO DISC" DISPLAYED  
Ensure you haveput the disc on thetray.  
Ensure the discis not upsidedown.  
Ensure the discis not distorted, stained or scratched.
