Activating the Speakerphone
Need to take a phone call while performing other tasks?
Want to have an impromptu conference call? Do both
with the AX155’s powerful speakerphone.

1. During a phone call, press and hold
to
activate the speakerphone.
2. To deactivate the speakerphone, press and

hold
once more.
Recording aVoice Dial
Quickly call frequently accessed contacts using voice
dialing. You can record voice dials for up to 30 entries
in your address book.
1. From standby mode, press
to access the
main menu.
2. Select Voice Service (4), then Voice Dialing (1).
3. Press the Left Soft Key for New.
4. Highlight the contact for whom you wish to record
a voice dial, then press
.
5. Press
to begin recording.
6. After the prompt, say the contact’s name. You’ll be
asked to repeat the name for increased accuracy.
Note: After recording a voice dial, you can use this
feature with one touch. From standby mode, press
TALK
and hold
. After the prompt, say the name of the
contact you want to call. The AX155 will automatically
Sending aText Message
Have a conversation without saying a word! Text
messaging is an efficient, discreet way to chat when
you’re in a loud environment or don’t want to disturb
those around you.
1. From standby mode, press the Right Soft Key
for Message.
2. Select New Text Message (1).
3. Enter a phone number or e-mail address, or press
the Right Soft Key to select someone from your
address book, recent calls, or groups.
4. Scroll down the text field and enter your message
using the alphanumeric keypad. You can add graphics,
animations, or sounds by pressing the Right Soft Key
and selecting Add (1).
5. When you’re finished, press
to send the message.
