Headrest Speaker Owner’s Manual  
Safety Precautions and Advice  
ADVICE  
There is possibility that the battery may be run down, making it hard to start the engine if you set the  
sound coming from the speakers loudly for an extended period of time.  
Never disassemble or modified the speakers. Stop operating the unit immediately and have it inspected  
and repaired by your authorized Honda car dealer if there is no sound from the speaker or speaker smells  
foul. Failure to follow is precaution can cause fire or permanent damage.  
Do not wet the speaker with water, liquor or beverage as they may cause damage or some sort of  
malfunction.  
INFORMATION  
Lower the volume to proper level in order to hear the sounds or traffic signals from outside the vehicle.  
Missing the outside sounds or traffic signals may endanger not only you but also the pedestrians.  
To take the fullest advantage from the speaker and audio unit, maintain adequate temperature in the  
cabin.  
If there is any abnormality in the operation of the speaker and audio unit, have them inspected and  
repaired by your authorized Honda car dealer.

Adjustment of the Fader (FAD) on the Standard Audio Unit  
CAUTION  
For your safety and safety of others, do not operate the fader while the vehicle is in motion.  
INFORMATION  
For operation of the audio unit, refer to the car’s Owner’s Manual.  
You may adjust the balance in volume between the headrest speakers and door speakers with the fader  
on the audio unit.

Care of Headrest Speaker  
Cleaning  
Wipe with a clean, dry cloth.  
If dust, first or dead leaf is stuck between the headrest speaker and headrest, remove the speaker from the  
headrest and clean it as described.

ADVICE  
Never touch the diaphragm with your hand as such practice may cause damage or some sort of  
malfunction.  
Do not clean the speaker with a hard cloth, or with organic solvents such as alcohol, thinner or benzene,  
or solvents designed to be used exclusively with automobiles as they may score or scratch or cause  
damage to the plastic surfaces.
