AirSource Mobile Purification System
Place the unit where it is not easily knocked over. The ideal location is
above floor level on a countertop, end table, or on a bookcase shelf. The
ideal location in a vehicle is a cupholder or behind a headrest in the
optional Mobile Carrying Harness (Item #55300).
ꢀ
ꢀ The unit must be used in its upright position.
The AirSource Mobile is not a medical device and the company makes no

claims concerning its usefulness in connection with any disease or health-related
condition. The unit was designed to reduce airborne microbials and odors and
thereby promote freer breathing. If you have questions or concerns about
whether this unit is appropriate for you, please consult your physician.
Preliminary research on the effect of low amounts of residual ozone (less than
ꢀ
.05 ppm) on birds does not indicate that it would be harmful to them. The
AirSource Mobile has not been tested for its effect on birds, and given the
absence of available information, as a precaution, we recommend that the unit
not be used in close proximity to birds.

or office.†
2. Plug the unit into a DC or AC adapter and press the switch on.
3. Breathe more freely with your AirSource Mobile™ Purification System.

†Save all packaging materials for storage or future shipment.
Positioning the Unit
The AirSource Mobile Purification System is designed to treat air in spaces up to
300 square feet. The physical location of the unit indoors can determine how
effectively the unit purifies the air surrounding it. A higher elevation enables the unit
to more effectively combat odors and pollutants. The ideal location for the unit is
near a return air duct or in a high-traffic area (indoors). Both these locations provide
excellent air circulation, which will increase the unit’s effectiveness.
For optimum performance indoors, place on a table or other solid surface, three to
four feet off the floor.
3
For optimum performance in a vehicle, place in a cup holder or back of headrest
in a carrying harness and run unit with car ventilation system on. If your vehicle is
equipped with both a keyed and non-keyed DC adapter, it is recommended that
the keyed DC adapter be used so that the unit shuts off when the ignition switch is
turned off.
If unit overheats (such as on a hot day without air conditioning), it will shut off
automatically. Unit is equipped with a thermal cutoff switch, which will shut off
when the unit becomes overheated. When the unit cools down, it will resume
operation automatically provided the switch is in the on position.
Operation of unit with car air fresheners is not recommended.
Cleaning the Unit
Unplug the unit and use a water-dampened cloth to remove dust particles that
may accumulate on the unit. Do not use harsh detergents, abrasives, furniture
cleaner, or polishes. Do not spray water or cleaners directly on the unit.

How Does Your AirSource Mobile
Purification System Work?
The AirSource Mobile is an extremely effective indoor air purifying system. It works
through a patent-pending technology — Photohydroionization™*. Here’s how the
technology works:
Photohydroionization™* Mobile Module:
An advanced oxidation reaction occurs when light energy from the ultraviolet (UV)
lamp reacts with oxygen, ozone, a small amount of moisture in the air, and the
hydrated tri-metallic catalyst. This reaction creates cleansing ions, such as
hydroperoxides and superoxide ions, which are gently exhausted from the system
into the surrounding air. The treatment of your air includes:
Suppression of bacteria growth (bacteriostatic)
ꢀ
Suppression of mold growth (mycostatic)
ꢀ
Reduction of odors
ꢀ
Reduction of chemicals (VOCs)
