ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
oven as they may cause electric shock or fire.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
17. A fire may occur if the oven is covered or is touching flammable
material, including curtains, draperies or walls, when in operation. Do
not store any item on the oven during operation.
18. Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers
constructed of other than metal or glass.
19. Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard,
plastic, paper, or anything similar.
20. When not in use always unplug the unit. Do not store any
materials, other than manufacturers recommended accessories, in
this oven when not in use.
POWER SUPPLY CORD
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in
or tripping over a longer cord.
2. If the power supply cord is too short, do not use an extension cord. Have a
qualified electrician or serviceman to install an outlet near the appliance.
21. Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts when inserting or
removing items from the hot oven.
22.This appliance has a tempered, safety glass door. The glass is
stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage.
Tempered glass can break, but the pieces will not have sharp edges.
Avoid scratching door surface or nicking edges.
3. If it is absolutely necessary to use longer cord sets or an extension cord, extreme
care must be exercised.
a) Use an extension cord rated no less than 10-amperes.
b) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord must equal to
or be greater than the electrical rating of the appliance. The longer cord should
be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top where it
can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
23.Do not place eyes or face in close proximity with tempered safety
glass door in event that the safety glass breaks.
24.Do not use outdoors.

(2.5 cm) airspace between the top
of the container and the upper
heating elements.
Never use glass lids on glass or
metal bakeware. If a lid is necessary,
cover tightly with aluminum foil.
TOASTER OVEN TIPS
•
When setting timer for 10 minutes or
less, turn the timer knob beyond the
10 minute mark. Then, turn back to
the desired time.
Many convenience foods are
packaged in nonmetallic containers
suitable for use in microwave ovens
as well as regular ovens. Check
package directions to determine if
the container is suitable for use in a
toaster oven.
•
Experience will teach you how much
time to use for toasting various
kinds of bread. Frozen, dark, or
whole grain breads require a longer
toasting time, while fresh, soft,
or white breads require a shorter
toasting time.
5. When the time elapses, the bell
will ring and the toaster oven will
automatically shut off.
NOTE: · DO NOT leave the toaster oven
unattended during broiling or top
browning.
•
•
When cooking small pieces of food
or foods that will melt, use the
drip/baking pan. This will prevent
food from falling onto the heating
element.
· NEVER broil without the drip/baking
pan in place as fat drippings could
cause smoke or flames.
For best results, food and/or
containers must fit in the toaster
oven without touching the heating
elements or the inside walls of the
toaster oven. The door must close
completely.
TOASTING BAGELS
Only the bottom element will heat when
this function is used.
