through the important settings prior to operation.

STEP 2 Before using the printer for the first time
1. Slide off printer cover.
2. Remove the tape holding the twin spool ribbon in place.
3. Slide printer cover back into place.
STEP 3 Load the Paper
1. Turn ON calculator and set the slide switch P/NP/IP to the P position.
2. Place paper holder into position.
3. Install the paper roll on the holder.
4. Insert the paper into the printer slot.
5. Press the feed key
to feed paper to desired length.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Plug machine directly into wall outlet.
2. Turn ON and set slide switch P/NP/IP to P position.
3. Use a paper clip to depress the RESET button; located on the bottom of the calculator in the lower
right corner.
4. Listen for activation noise.
5. Turn the machine right side up.
6. Test the machine.
