Removing the Battery Insulation Strip  
To prevent battery drainage during shipping, your  
recorder is shipped with an insulation strip that you  
must remove before use.

1. Press and rotate the battery compartment  
cover counterclockwise to remove it.  
2. Remove the insulation strip.  
3. Replace the cover and rotate it clockwise to  
secure it.

it to your local RadioShack store for assistance. To  
locate your nearest RadioShack, use the store  
locator feature on RadioShack’s website
