The intercom uses four AA batteries. For the
longest battery life, we recommend
RadioShack alkaline batteries. ±
• Do not listen at extremely high volume
levels. Extended high-volume listening
can lead to permanent hearing loss.
1. Push the battery compartment cover
back and slide it off to open.

• When you turn on the intercom, the green
LED lights. If the LED turns red, replace the
batteries.
• Once you set the volume, do not
increase it. Over time, your ears adapt
to the volume level, so a volume level
that does not cause discomfort initially
might still damage your hearing.
2. Place four AA batteries in the battery
holder as indicated by the polarity
symbols (+ and –).
• If you do not use the intercom for an
extended period of time, remove the
batteries.
3. Slide the cover back in place until it
snaps shut.
• Disconnect the headset if it not being used.
Otherwise, if the microphone is placed near
the earpiece, it might cause a piercing
sound.
