Thank you for purchasing the RadioShack

an alarm and a flashlight into one convenient
device that helps ensure your personal safety. Its
siren is designed to startle and deter would-be
attackers, and its compact design is perfect for
discreet carrying. The supplied neck strap lets you
wear your personal safety alarm anywhere.
Removing the Insulation
Care
To prevent battery drain during shipping, your
Personal Safety Alarm with Flashlight is shipped
with an insulation strip inside the battery
compartment that must be removed before use. To
remove the insulation, remove the battery cover
with a flat-head screwdriver and pull off the
insulation strip. Replace the battery cover when
finished.
Keep the alarm dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry
immediately. Use and store the alarm only in
room temperature environments. Handle the
alarm carefully; do not drop it. Keep the alarm
away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp
cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
Replacing the Batteries
Your Personal Safety Alarm comes with three 357A batteries for power. When
the flashlight dims or the alarm weakens, replace the batteries.
