To ensure your personal safety and to maximize the full operating potential of your Drive, read and follow

these safety precautions:

ENVIRONMENT - Please do not use the unit at places with much dust, high temperature, or high humidity.

Please use the unit at a place where it is not subjected to vibrations or shocks.

POWER - Turn off your system and attached hardware devices before installation.

READ INSTRUCTIONS - Read all safety and operating instructions before the Drive is operated.

RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS - Retain the safety and operating instructions for future reference.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS - Follow all operating and use instructions.

HEED WARNINGS - All warnings must be adhered to.

CLEANING - DO NOT use liquid, aerosol cleaners, or alcohol. Use only a damp cloth to clean the exterior

housing.

WATER AND MOISTURE - DO NOT use this product near water.

POWER SOURCES - Operate this product from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you

are not sure of the type of power available, consult Authorized Pioneer Dealer.

OVERLOADING - DO NOT overload wall outlets and extension cords. Doing so can result in fire or electric

shock.

OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY - Never push objects of any kind into this product. Touching dangerous voltage

points may cause a short resulting in fire or electric shock. Do not spill liquid of any kind on this product.

CONDENSATION - Moisture will form in the operating section of the product causing performance to be

impaired if it is brought from cool surroundings into a warmer environment. If you are moving the unit to a

location with a warmer temperature, let the product stand for 1-2 hours in the new location before turning it

back on.

SERVICING - Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Opening or removing covers may expose you to

dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. (Refer to the enclosed

Service and Support Card.)

÷ Avoid touching or scratching the signal surface (shiny

side) of the disc.

÷ Hold the disc by the edges or by the center hold and one

edge.

÷ Do not affix paper or labels to the disc.

÷ Discard warped or cracked discs as they may cause

damage to the drive.

÷ Avoid specially shaped discs such as hearts or polygons.

÷ Remove dust or lint from the disc with a soft cloth by

wiping from the inside to the outside edge rather than in

a circular motion.

÷ Do not use record-cleaning or anti-static agents as the

solutions may cause damage to a disc.

Always be sure to store your discs in proper DVD-R storage

cases when not in use, and always be sure to check for dirt

or dust on discs (especially on the recording side) before use.

1 Forced Ejection Hole

Insert a stiff rod into the hole and push to eject the tray when the tray doesn’t unload by

pressing the Eject button. In the normal operation, the eject button should be used to unload

the tray. Make sure the power of the drive is turned off and wait more than one minute till the

disc rotation is stopped when access the eject hole.

To unload /load the disc, press the button.

5 Disc Tray

Open the loading tray by pressing the eject button, then place a CD or DVD disc into the slit

with the label facing up.

Press the eject button or push the front part of tray to load the tray with the disc.

Do not attempt to pull out the disc tray forcibly.

Precautions on playing 8 cm (3.15") Discs

An 8 cm (3.15") disc cannot be played even an adapter is attached to the disc when the drive is

upright condition.

ABOUT REGION CODES

The region code can be changed ONLY 5 times, including the 1st setting. Please be

aware the 5th change will be PERMANENT, therefore, please pay attention when

changing region codes.

÷ Region codes are part of the DVD Standard. However, Region codes on DVD

discs are optional. DVD discs with no specified Region code can be played on all

players.

INSTALLATION

1 Turn off the power of the personal computer and remove the power cord from the

AC outlet, then remove the cover or the front panel.

2 Remove the blank panel installed on the front of the 5.25 inch slot.

3 Install the fixing slide rails on the drive. (When slide rails are required, please contact

your shop or the computer manufacturer.)

4 Insert the drive into the slot.

5 When fixing is required, please refer to the instruction manual for the computer.

÷ Please use screws with a length of 5 mm (3/16 in.) or less for mounting. Using

longer screws may cause damage on the drive.

÷ When the mounting screws are loose etc., the vibrations from disc rotation may

generate ripping noise, to prevent it the screws should be tightened securely.

et non en effectuant un mouvement circulaire.

÷ N’utilisez jamais de produit de nettoyage pour disque ou

d’agent antistatique, car ces solutions peuvent

endommager le disque.

Rangez toujours vos disques dans les boîtes de rangement

de DVD-R prévues à cet effet lorsque nous ne les utilisez pas

et vérifiez s’ils ne sont pas couverts de saletés ou de

1 Orifice d’éjection forcée

Insérer une tige rigide dans l’orifice et pousser pour éjecter le tiroir lorsque celui-ci ne s’ouvre

pas lors d’un appui sur la touche d’éjection. En fonctionnement, utiliser uniquement la touche

d’éjection pour ouvrir le tiroir. Veiller à ce que l’alimentation du lecteur soit coupée et attendre

l’arrêt de la rotation du disque pendant plus d’une minute avant de tenter d’éjecter le tiroir au

moyen de l’orifice d’éjection.

Pour décharger / charger le disque, appuyer sur la touche.

5 Tiroir du disque

Ouvrir le tiroir de chargement en appuyant sur la touche d’éjection, puis placez un CD ou un

DVD dans l’emplacement prévu avec l’étiquette tournée vers le haut. Appuyer sur la touche

d’éjection ou sur la partie avant du tiroir pour charger le disque.

N'essayez pas de retirer de force le plateau du disque.

Précautions à prendre lors de la lecture de disques de 8 cm

Les disques de 8 cm ne peuvent pas être lus par le lecteur même en utilisant un adaptateur intermédiaire

au disque lorsque le lecteur est placé en position verticale.

A PROPOS DES CODES REGIONAUX

Le code régional peut être modifié 5 fois SEULEMENT (premier réglage compris).

Comme la cinquième modification sera DÉFINITIVE, soyez particulièrement prudent

lorsque vous décidez de modifier les codes régionaux.

÷ Les codes régionaux sont couverts par la norme DVD. Toutefois, les codes régionaux

des disques DVD sont facultatifs. Les disques DVD qui ne possèdent pas de code

régional peuvent être reproduits sur tous les lecteurs.

INSTALLATION

1 Couper l’alimentation de l’ordinateur personnel, débrancher le cordon d’alimentation et

déposer le capot ou le panneau avant.

2 Retirer la plaque masquant de la fente de 5,25 pouces.

3 Poser les glissières de fixation sur le lecteur. (S'adresser au magasin ou au fabricant de

l’ordinateur lorsque des glissières sont nécessaires.)

4 Introduire le lecteur dans la fente.

5 Lorsqu’il est nécessaire de fixer le lecteur, se reporter au manuel d’instruction de

l’ordinateur.

÷ Utiliser des vis ayant une longueur inférieure ou égale à 5 mm. L’utilisation de vis plus

longues pourrait endommager le lecteur.

÷ Lorsque les vis de fixation ne sont pas suffisamment serrées, etc., les vibrations

provoquées par la rotation du disque peuvent générer un bruit de déchirure et il faut

donc serrer les vis solidement pour éliminer ce bruit.

÷ Mettre l’ordinateur personnel hors tension.

÷ Connecter le cordon d’alimentation de l’ordinateur personnel. Respecter la polarité

du cordon lors du raccordement.

÷ Connecter le câble d’interface IDE. Confirmer que la broche 1 du connecteur IDE

du lecteur est bien connectée à la broche 1 du câble.

÷ En cas d’utilisation d’une carte de sons, connecter la sortie audio à la carte de son à

l’aide d’un câble audio.

N’oubliez pas que l’alimentation de cet appareil doit être fournie par l’ordinateur

auquel il est relié. N’utilisez aucune autre alimentation que celle de l’ordinateur

personnel.

EINDRINGEN VON FLÜSSIGKEITEN UND FREMDKÖRPERN - Niemals Fremdkörper in das Geräteinnere

eindringen lassen. Das Berühren von unter Spannung stehenden Kontakten kann zu einem Kurzschluß führen, was

einen Brand oder Stromschlag auslösen kann. Vorsicht, damit keine Flüssigkeiten auf dem Gerät verschüttet werden.

KONDENSATION - Wenn das Gerät von einem kalten in einen warmen Raum gebracht wird, verursacht der

Feuchtigkeitsniederschlag in Gerät eine merkliche Leistungsminderung. Betreiben Sie das Gerät deshalb nicht für

ca. 1 bis 2 Stunden, bis sich die Bauteile der Umgebungstemperatur angeglichen haben.

WARTUNG - Nicht den Versuch unternehmen, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren! Das Öffnen oder Entfernen von

÷ Zu vermeiden ist das Berühren oder Zerkratzen der

Signalfläche (glänzende Seite) der Platte.

÷ Die Platte entweder an den Rändern oder im Loch in der

Mitte und am Rand fassen.

÷ Auf der Platte dürfen weder Papier noch Etiketten

angebracht werden.

÷ Keine gewölbten oder rissigen Platten verwenden (da

diese das Laufwerk beschädigen könnten).

÷ Keine Platten mit Spezialformen, wie z.B. Herzen oder

Vielecke, verwenden.

÷ Staub oder Flusen mit einem weichen Lappen von der

Platte entfernen, indem man diese von innen nach außen

(statt in kreisförmigen Bewegungen) abwischt.

÷ Keine Schallplattenreinigungs- oder antistatischen Mittel

verwenden, da diese die Platte beschädigen könnten.

Bewahren Sie nicht benutzte Discs stets in geeigneten DVD-

R-Behältern auf, und prüfen Sie die Discs vor dem Einlegen

auf Verschmutzungen oder Staub (insbesondere die

Aufzeichnungsseite).

1 Loch für erzwungenen Auswurf

Wenn die Schublade nach dem Drücken der Eject-Taste nicht ausfährt, führen Sie eine

unbiegsame Stange in das Loch ein und drücken sie, um die Disc auszuwerfen. Im normalen

Betrieb wird eine Disc mittels Eject-Taste ausgeworfen. Achten Sie vor dem Zugriff auf das

Auswurfloch darauf, dass die Netzversorgung des Laufwerks ausgeschaltet ist, und warten

Sie länger als eine Minute, bis sich die Disc nicht mehr dreht.

Diese Anzeige kennzeichnet den aktuellen Betriebsstatus wie folgt.

4 Eject-Taste (0)

Drücken Sie diese Taste, um die Disc einzulegen bzw. herauszunehmen.

5 Disc-Schublade

Öffnen Sie die Schublade, indem Sie die Eject-Taste drücken. Legen Sie dann eine CD oder

DVD in den Schlitz, wobei die Beschriftung oben liegt. Drücken Sie die Eject-Taste oder drücken

Sie vorne an der Schublade, um die Schublade mit der Disc zu laden.

Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, das Disc-Fach gewaltsam herauszuziehen.

Vorsichtmassnahmen beim abspielen von 8 cm CDs/DVDs

Bei Betrieb des Laufwerks in senkrechter Lage können 8-cm-Disc gelbst bei Verwendung eines

Adapters nicht abgespielt werden.

ÜBER REGIONALCODES

Der Regionalcode kann NUR 5mal geändert werden, einschließlich der ersten

Einstellung. Beachten Sie, dass die 5. Änderung PERMANENT ist, und lassen Sie

bitte daher bei der Änderung von Regionalcodes Vorsicht walten.

÷ Regionalcodes sind Teil des DVD-Standards. Auf DVD-Platten sind Regionalcodes

jedoch nur bedingt vorhanden. DVD-Platten ohne Angabe eines Regionalcodes

lassen sich auf allen Geräten abspielen.

EINBAU

1 Schalten Sie die Spannungsversorgung des Personal-Computers aus, ziehen Sie den

Netzstecker ab und nehmen Sie die Abdeckung oder die Frontplatte ab.

2 Entfernen Sie die Blende von einem leeren 5,25-Zoll-Laufwerkschacht.

3 Befestigen Sie die Klemmschiebeschienen an das Laufwerk. (Wenn Schiebeschienen

benötigt werden, wenden Sie sich an das Geschäft, wo Sie den Computer erworben

haben, oder an den Hersteller des Computers.)

4 Schieben Sie das Laufwerk in den Schacht ein.

5 Wenn eine Befestigung erforderlich ist, befestigen Sie das Laufwerk gemäß den

Anweisungen im Handbuch des Computers.

÷ Verwenden Sie Montageschrauben mit einer Länge von höchstens 5 mm.

Durch längere Schrauben kann das Laufwerk beschädigt werden.

÷ Bei lockeren Befestigungsschrauben erzeugen die Vibrationen durch die rotierende DVD/

CD ein störendes Geräusch.

Die Schrauben müssen daher gut festgezogen werden.

÷ Schalten Sie die Spannungsversorgung des Personal-Computers aus.

÷ Schließen Sie das Spannungskabel vom Computer an. Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige

÷ Schließen Sie das IDE-Schnittstellenkabel an. Vergewissern Sie sich, daß der Stift 1

des IDE-Anschlusses richtig mit dem Stift 1 des Steckers verbunden ist.

÷ Wenn eine Soundkarte vorhanden ist, verbinden Sie den Audio-Ausgang über ein

Audiokabel mit der Soundkarte.

Die Stromversorgung für dieses Greät muß unbedingt über den damit verbundenen

CONDENSA - Trasportando l’apparecchio da un ambiente freddo ad uno caldo, all’interno della sezione operativa

dell’apparecchio può formarsi della condensa, che può essere causa di disfunzioni nelle prestazioni. Dopo aver

portato l’apparecchio in un luogo a temperatura superiore a quella del precedente, attendere per circa 1 o 2 ore

prima di passare all’uso dell’apparecchio stesso.

MANUTENZIONE - Non tentare per nessun motivo di riparare l’apparecchio da se stessi. L’apertura o la

contenente i segnali (quella rilucente).

÷ Tenere il disco per i bordi, o per il foro centrale e il bordo.

÷ Non applicare fogli di carta o etichette al disco.

÷ I dischi deformati o rigati possono causare danni

all’apparecchio e si consiglia quindi di eliminarli.

÷ Evitare l’uso di dischi di forme particolari (a cuore,

ottagonali, ecc.).

÷ Per eliminare polvere e sporco strofinare il disco con un

panno morbido in direzione dall’interno verso l’esterno

del disco, evitando movimenti circolari.

÷ Non utilizzare agenti appositi per la pulizia di dischi, o

altri agenti antistatici, che possono causare danni al disco

stesso.

I dischi devono essere conservati negli appositi astucci per

dischi DVD-R, e devono essere sempre accuratamente ripuliti

da entrambi i lati, ma particolarmente da quello contenente i

segnali sonori, prima dell’uso.

1 Foro per l’espulsione forzata

Se il vano portadischi non si apre alla normale pressione del tasto di espulsione, inserire in

questo foro uno stilo appuntito e spingere sino ad espulsione avvenuta.

Nel corso del funzionamento normale, per l’apertura del piatto portadischi si deve far uso del

tasto di espulsione. Prima di agire sul foro di espulsione controllare che l’apparecchio sia

stato spento (alimentazione disattivata) e che il disco abbia completamente smesso di ruotare.

5 Piatto portadischi

Aprire la fessura del vano portadischi agendo sul tasto di espulsione ed inserire nella fessura il

disco CD o DVD con il lato etichettato rivolto verso l’alto. Per far entrare il disco dentro l’apparecchio

premere di nuovo il tasto di espulsione o spingere il lato anteriore del disco stesso.

Nom tentare di estrarre a forza il piatto portadischi.

Precauzioni per la riproduzione di dischi da 8 cm

I dischi da 8 cm non possono venire riprodotti in un drive installato in posizione verticale, anche se

si fa uso di un adattatore.

CODICI REGIONALI

Il codice regionale può essere modificato SOLO 5 volte, compresa la predisposizione

iniziale. Tenere presente che la 5a modifica diviene PERMANENTE e immodificabile,

e regolarsi di conseguenza.

÷ I codici regionali fanno parte dello standard dei dischi DVD. Tuttavia l’inserimento del

codice regionale sui dischi DVD è facoltativo. I dischi DVD senza specifica di codice

regionale possono essere utilizzati su tutti i lettori e registratori.

INSTALLAZIONE

1 Spegnere l’alimentazione del personal computer, scollegare il cavo di alimentazione dalla

presa di corrente e togliere il coperchio del pannello anteriore dell’apparecchio.

2 Togliere il panello senza indicazioni, che si trova installato sul lato anteriore della fessura

da 5,25 pollici.

3 Installare sul drive le guide fisse. In caso di necessità di guide scorrevoli, rivolgersi ad un

rivenditore o al fabbricante del computer.

4 Inserire il drive nella fessura.

5 Se si rende necessario il bloccaggio, vedere il manuale di istruzioni del computer.

÷ Per il montaggio usare viti di lunghezza non superiore a 5 mm. L’uso di viti più lunghe può

danneggiare il drive.

Se le viti di montaggio sono lente le vibrazioni dovute alla rotazione del disco possono generare

dei rumori di ferraglia, per prevenire il quale è necessario serrare molto bene le viti.

1 Orificio de expulsión forzada

Inserte una varilla rígida en el orificio y empújela para abrir la bandeja cuando no se abra la

bandeja al presionar el botón de expulsión.

Durante la operación normal, debe utilizarse el botón de expulsión para abrir la bandeja. Antes

de introducir la varilla en el orificio de expulsión, asegúrese de que la alimentación de la

unidad esté desconectada y espere más de un minuto hasta que el disco haya dejado de

girar.

Los discos de 8 cm no pueden reproducirse cuando la unidad se ha instalado verticalmente,

aunque se coloque un adaptador en el disco.

OBSERVACIÓN SOBRE LOS CÓDIGOS DE REGIÓN

Los códigos de región SÓLO pueden cambiarse 5 veces, incluyendo el primer ajuste.

Tenga presente que el quinto cambio será el que quedará PERMANENTEMENTE,

INSTALACIÓN

1 Desconecte la alimentación del ordenador personal, desenchufe el cable de la alimentación

del la toma de CA y extraiga la cubierta o el panel frontal.

2 Extraiga el panel de protección instalado delante de la ranura de 5,25 pulgadas.

3 Instale los rieles de deslizamiento de fijación en la unidad. (Cuando sean necesarios los

4 Inserte la unidad en la ranura.

SCHOONMAKEN - Geen GEEN vloeibare reinigingsmiddelen, middelen met aërosol, of alcohol. Gebruik voor

het schoonmaken van de behuizing uitsluitend een licht bevochtige doek.

WATER EN VOCHT - Gebruik dit apparaat NIET in de buurt van water.

STROOMVOORZIENING - Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend op de stroomvoorziening die op het label is

aangegeven. Neem contact op met een officiële Pioneer dealer als u niet zeker weet welke stroomvoorziening

u hebt.

OVERBELASTING - Zorg dat stopcontacten en verlengsnoeren niet overbelast worden. Dit kan resulteren in

brand of een elektrische schok.

BINNENDRINGEN VAN VOORWERPEN EN VLOEISTOF - Steek nooit een voorwerp in het apparaat. Bij

aanraking van gevaarlijke spanningspunten kunt u een elektrische schok krijgen of kan brand ontstaan. Let er

tevens op dat geen vloeistof in het apparaat terechtkomt.

CONDENSATIE - Als het apparaat vanuit een koude omgeving in een warme ruimte wordt gebracht, zal er

condensvorming in het apparaat optreden met een aanzienlijke afname van de prestatie tot gevolg. Wanneer

u het apparaat naar een warme ruimte verplaatst, moet u het apparaat ongeveer 1 tot 2 uur laten acclimatiseren

voordat u het in gebruik neemt.

ONDERHOUD - Probeer het apparaat nooit zelf te repareren. Bij openen of verwijderen van deksels stelt u

zich bloot aan hoge spanningen en andere gevaren. Laat alle onderhoud en reparaties over aan deskundig

onderhoudspersoneel. (Zie de bijgevoegde klantenservicekaart.)

÷ Vermijd aanraken of bekrassen van het signaaloppervlak

(glanzende kant) van de disc.

÷ Houd de disc bij de rand vast of met een vinger in het

middengat en een bij de rand.

÷ Plak geen papier of etiketten op de disc.

÷ Gooi kromgetrokken of gebarsten discs weg, want deze

kunnen het aandrijfmechanisme van het apparaat

beschadigen.

÷ Gebruik geen discs met een afwijkende vorm, zoals

hartvormige of veelhoekige discs.

÷ Gebruik een zacht doekje om stof en pluisjes van de disc

te verwijderen. Veeg hierbij vanaf het midden van de disc

naar de buitenrand toe.

÷ Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddelen voor grammofoonplaten

of anti-statische middelen, want deze kunnen de disc

beschadigen.

Plaats de discs na gebruik altijd in de bijbehorende DVD-R

opbergdoosjes. Controleer of er geen vuil of stof op de disc

is (vooral op de opnamekant) voordat u deze gebruikt.

1 Gat voor geforceerd uitwerpen

Druk met een dun staafje in dit gat om de lade naar buiten te laten komen, indien deze niet

naar buiten komt bij indrukken van de uitwerptoets. Bij normale omstandigheden moet altijd

de uitwerptoets worden gebruikt. Wanneer u gebruik maakt van dit gat, moet u ervoor zorgen

dat de stroomvoorziening van het station is uitgeschakeld en dan minimaal 1 minuut wachten

zodat de disc volledig tot stilstand is gekomen.

Deze indicator geeft de bedrijfsstatus aan.

Druk op deze toets om een disc te plaatsen of verwijderen.

5 Disc-lade

Open de disc-lade door op de uitwerptoets te drukken en plaats vervolgens een CD of DVD-

disc met het label naar boven in de lade. Druk nogmaals op de uitwerptoets of duw tegen de

voorkant van de lade om deze te sluiten.

Probeer de disc-lade niet met geweld naar buiten te trekken.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij het weergeven van 8-cm discs

Een 8-cm disc kan niet worden weergegeven, ook wanneer een adapter is aangebracht, wanneer

het station in de verticale stand staat.

BETREFFENDE REGIOCODES

De regiocode kan SLECHTS 5 maal worden gewijzigd, inclusief de 1ste instelling.

De 5de instelling is PERMANENT en kan niet meer worden veranderd. Let daarom

goed op wanneer u de regiocode wijzigt.

÷ Regiocodes zijn een onderdeel van de DVD-standaard. DVD-discs zijn echter niet altijd

van een regiocode voorzien. DVD-discs zonder regiocodes kunnen op alle spelers

worden afgespeeld.

INSTALLATIE

1 Schakel de personal computer uit, trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en verwijder de

afdekkap of het voorpaneel.

2 Verwijder het afdekpaneel van een leeg 5,25-inch stationsvak.

3 Bevestig de montage-schuifrails aan de zijkanten van het station. (Neem contact op met

de winkel waar u de computer hebt gekocht of met de fabrikant van de computer indien

u niet weet of het gebruik van schuifrails nodig is.)

4 Schuif het station in de opening van de computer.

5 Raadpleeg voor eventuele verdere montagestappen de handleiding van de computer.

÷ Gebruik montageschroeven met een lengte van 5 mm of minder. Bij gebruik van langere

schroeven kan het station worden beschadigd.

÷ Als de montageschroeven niet goed vastzitten e.d., kunnen de trillingen van de

ronddraaiende disc stoorgeluiden veroorzaken. Zorg er daarom voor dat de schroeven

stevig zijn vastgedraaid.

使用上のご注意

イジェクトボタンを押してもディスクトレイが開かない場合に、細長い棒をこの

穴に挿入することによりディスクトレイを開けます。通常は、イジェクトボタン

本機を垂直に設置したときは、ディスクに8cmアダプターを装着しても8cmディス

クを使用できません。

リージョン（地域）コードについて

このドライブの地域コードの変更は（初回の設定を含め）5 回しか行えませんの

で（5 回目の変更が最終の地域コードとして固定されています）、変更を行う際

には十分に注意してください。

÷ 地域コードは、DVD規格の一部です。しかし、地域コードはDVDディスクの随意

科目ですので、地域コードを規定していないD V D ディスクはすべてのプレーヤー

で再生できます。

ドライブの取り付けかた

1 コンピュータの電源を切り、電源コードをACコンセントからはずしてから、カバー

またはフロントパネルを取り外します。

2 5.25インチスロット前面に付けられているブランクパネルを外します。

3 ドライブに固定用スライドレールを取り付けます。（スライドレールが必要な場合

は販売店またはコンピュータメーカーにお問い合わせください。）

4 ドライブをスロット内に挿入してください。

5 固定が必要な場合にはコンピュータの取扱いマニュアルに従って固定してくださ

い。

÷ 取付け用ネジは5mm以下のものを使用してください。長いネジを使用した場合は

ドライブが損傷を受ける場合があります。

÷ 取付ネジにゆるみ等があると、ディスクの回転による振動でビリつき音が発生する

ことがあるので、確実に取り付けてください。

¶ コンピュータの電源を切ります。

¶ コンピュータからの電源ケーブルを接続します。接続時はケーブルの極性に注意

してください。

¶ I D E インターフェイスケーブルを接続します。この時ドライブのI D E コネクタの

pin 1にケーブルのpin 1が正しく接続されていることを確認してください。

¶ サウンドボードを使用する場合は、オーディオアウトプット端子とサウンドボー

ドの間をオーディオケーブルで接続します。

ケーブルを接続する時は必ずコンピュータの電源を切ってから行ってください。

本機の電源は必ず接続されているコンピュータからとってください。コンピュー

タの内蔵電源以外は使用しないでください。
