1 Your SRC2063WM
Congratulations on your purchase of the
Philips SRC2063WM universal remote control
twinpack.The pack contains the 3-device remote
control SRP2003WM and the 6-device remote
control SRP2006WM.
After setting up the remote controls you can
operate up to 3 different devices with the
SRP2003WM and up to 6 different devices with
the SRP2006WM.
Simple Setup
Both universal remote controls come with the
innovative Simple Setup technology.
After setup the remote controls can operateTV,
DVD player / recorder (including Blu-ray player)
and all common Cable, Satellite, DTV and other
set top boxes, such as DirecTV, Comcast,AT&T,
Verizon,Time Warner, Scientific Atlanta,Tivo and
many more.
The SRP2006WM can also be set up forVCR,
and DVR.
Simply follow the instructions in chapter 2.2 to
set up the remote controls for your devices.

The SRP2006WM glow buttons (-VOL +, - CH
+, ENTER, (-) and the numeric buttons) glow
in the dark, enabling easy use of the remote
control, even in a dimly lit room

2 Getting started
2.1 Inserting the batteries

Insert 2 AAA type
batteries, noting
the + and -
configuration in the
battery
compartment.
Note
When replacing the batteries, all user settings
will be retained in the remote control
memory for 5 minutes.
2.2 Setting up the universal remote
controls
The example below instructs you how to set
up your universal remote controls for yourTV.
You can repeat the same steps for other devices
(
DVD player / recorder, DTV, Cable / Satellite
box, DVR andVCR) which you want to operate,
using the universal remote controls
.

The setup procedure is the same for both

exit setup.The red Setup light turns off.
Restart from the beginning.

If the device does not respond at all or not to
all of the button commands or if you cannot
find the code for your brand, enter ‘9, 9, 9, 9’ in
step 3 and continue with step 4.The remote
control will now search its full database for a
code that works with yourTV. Full database
search may take up to 15 minutes.

operational and able to respond to remote

2.2.2 Improving buttons
When correctly set up, the remote control
should be able to operate all your devices.
However, when using the remote control for the
first time it might occur that some buttons do
not yet function as expected.
In this case you can have the remote control
search for alternatives.
Note
Improving buttons is not possible when the
code was found during full database search
(with code ‘9, 9, 9, 9’).

During initial setup

respond. E.g. when you try to repair the Play
button for your DVD player, make sure to
insert a DVD into the DVD player otherwise
the Play button is not able to function.

it pressed and immediately release it when
the device responds. Repeat this for every
button that does not function.

remote controls
3.1 Buttons and functions
The illustrations on page 2 gives an overview of
all buttons on the remote controls.Try out the
buttons you need for operating your devices.
Notes

may have different namings on the
SRP2003WM / SRP2006WM (e.g. Info /

original function
If an improved button (see chapter 2.2.2) still
does not function as expected, you can always
reset the button to its original function.

4 Service and support
4.1 Frequently asked questions
In this chapter you will find answers to the most
frequently asked questions about your universal
remote controls.
Setup
I cannot enter setup mode.
Battery level too low or battery lifetime came
to an end.
•
Replace the batteries. See chapter 2.1.
After replacing the batteries, test if the
remote control still operates your devices. If
it does not, you have to set up the remote
control again. For this refer to chapter 2.2.
The brand code for my device is missing in the
‘Shortlist of brands’ in the Quick Start Guide.
The ‘Shortlist of brands’ only mentions the most
commonTV, DVD, CBL/SAT, DVR andVCR
brands.
•
You will find a complete brand list on page
31-42 of this user manual.
Use ‘9999’ as 4-digit code in case you cannot
find your brand in the complete brand list.
Note that using ‘9999’ may result in a long
setup (up to 15 minutes).
•
My TV switches OFF in step 4 but does not
switch ON again in step 5.
TVs of some brands (e.g. Panasonic) only
switch ON after a long press on one of the
digit buttons.After a long button press in setup
mode the remote control will start trying to
improve the button (see chapter 2.2.2) instead
of switching ON theTV.
•
In this case, switch ON theTV manually
or use the original remote control for this.
Continue with step 6.After successfully
completing setup, the remote control will
switch ON theTV with a long button press
on one of the digit buttons, just as your
original remote control.

After setup, not all buttons work al expected.

Try improving the button(s). See chapter

How do I set up the remote control for combo
devices (TV /VCR,TV / DVD, DVD /VCR, etc)?
Some combo devices require you to set up two
different device selection buttons to control
both parts of the combo device. For example,
if you have aTV / DVD combo, you might need
to set up the remote control for both TV and
DVD to operate yourTV / DVD combo.
Operation
The remote control does not wake up
anymore.
Battery level too low or battery lifetime came
to an end.
•
Replace the batteries. See chapter 2.1.
After replacing the batteries, test if the
remote control still operates your devices. If
it does not, you have to set up the remote
control again. For this refer to chapter 2.2.
The device I want to operate does not respond
at all / does not respond to all of the button

Batteries
Will my settings be deleted when I replace the
batteries?
No. All user settings will be retained in the
remote control memory in the remote control
memory for 5 minutes.
Warning
(Installed) batteries shall not be exposed to
excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Le felicitamos por la compra del paquete de
dos unidades de mandos a distancia universales
SRC2063WM de Philips. El paquete contiene el
mando a distancia SRP2003WM que controla
3 dispositivos y el mando SRP2006WM
que controla 6 dispositivos. Después de la
configuración podrá controlar hasta

Configuración sencilla
Ambos mandos a distancia universales están

permiten un uso fácil del mando a distancia,
incluso en una habitación poco iluminada

Cabe la posibilidad de que los botones
con las mismas funciones que los de
su mando a distancia original tengan
nombres diferentes en el SRP2003WM /
SRP2006WM (por ejemplo Info / Display).
Sólo se pueden usar las funciones que
estén disponibles en su mando a distancia
original para controlar los dispositivos

Si un botón cuyo funcionamiento ha sido
corregido (consulte el capítulo 2.2.2) sigue

restablecer su función original.

técnica
4.1 Preguntas más frecuentes
En este capítulo, encontrará respuestas a las
preguntas más frecuentes sobre los mandos a
distancia universales.
Configuración
No puedo acceder al modo de configuración.
El nivel de las pilas es demasiado bajo o se ha
agotado la vida útil de las pilas.
•
Sustitúyalas. Para obtener más información,
consulte el capítulo 2.1.
Después de sustituir las pilas, compruebe
que el mando a distancia sigue controlando
sus dispositivos. En caso contrario, deberá
volver a configurar el mando a distancia. Para
ello, consulte el capítulo 2.2.
El código para la marca de mi dispositivo no
está en la ‘Lista resumida de marcas’ de la Guía
de inicio rápido.
La ‘Lista resumida de marcas’ únicamente
menciona las marcas más comunes de
televisores, DVD, CBL/SAT, DVR y vídeo.
• Encontrará una lista de marcas completa en la
página 31-42 de este manual de usuario.
• Utilice el código de 4 dígitos ‘9999’ en caso de
que no pueda encontrar su marca en la lista
de marcas completa.Tenga en cuenta que al
utilizar el código ‘9999’ la configuración puede
ser más larga (hasta 15 minutos).

El televisor se apaga en el paso 4 pero no se
vuelve a encender en el paso 5.
Los televisores de algunas marcas (por ejemplo,
Panasonic) únicamente se encienden tras
pulsar de forma continuada uno de los botones
numéricos. Después de pulsar el botón de
forma continuada en el modo de configuración,
el mando a distancia intentará corregir el
funcionamiento del botón (consulte el capítulo
2.2.2) en vez de encender el televisor.
•
En este caso,encienda el televisor
manualmente o utilice el mando a distancia
original para hacerlo. Continúe con el paso 6.
Tras finalizar correctamente la configuración,
el mando a distancia encenderá el televisor
si pulsa uno de los botones numéricos de
forma continuada, tal y como lo hacía con el
mando a distancia original.
Después de la configuración, no todos los
botones funcionan correctamente.
• Intente arreglar los botones. Consulte el
capítulo 2.2.2.
¿Cómo configuro el mando a distancia para
aparatos combinados (TV con vídeo integrado,
TV con DVD integrado, DVD con vídeo, etc.)?
En algunos aparatos combinados, es necesario
configurar dos botones de selección del
dispositivo diferentes para poder controlar
ambas partes del aparato combinado. Por
ejemplo, si tiene un televisor con DVD integrado,
quizá necesite configurar el mando a distancia
tanto para el televisor como para el DVD para
poder manejar el aparato combinado.
Funcionamiento
El mando a distancia no responde.
El nivel de las pilas es demasiado bajo o se ha
agotado la vida útil de las pilas.
•
Sustitúyalas. Consulte el capítulo 2.1.
Después de sustituir las pilas, compruebe
que el mando a distancia sigue controlando
sus dispositivos. En caso contrario, deberá
volver a configurar el mando a distancia. Para

para el aparato. Compruebe siempre si el
aparato responde antes de abandonar el
modo de configuración.
Tal vez los botones que intenta utilizar tienen
un nombre diferente en el mando a distancia
original.

Compruebe todas los botones para
encontrar los que necesita.
Pilas
¿Se borrarán mis ajustes al cambiar las pilas?
No.Todos los ajustes de usuario se guardarán
en el mando a distancia durante 5 minutos.
Advertencia
No exponga las pilas (insertadas) a
temperaturas altas, como las que emiten la luz
solar, el fuego o similares.
