We know how precious and inspiring a new little person can be in your world. It’s so  
important to be able to show your baby to the world and just as important to show the  
world to your baby.

We also know that many parents use strollers incorrectly and as a result may put  
their children at risk. Please take the time to read through this manual carefully. Your  
Mountain Buggy carrycot will provide you with optimum safety if you follow the  
instructions as detailed.

instructions.

Important:  
Please read instructions carefully, follow them strictly and keep these instructions for  
future reference. Your child’s safety is your responsibility and may be compromised if you  
do not follow these instructions.  
Warning  
•
Carrycot is suitable for newborns through to 6 months old, or until baby can sit up  
unaided.  
•
•
Baby must not be in Carrycot when it is being fastened or removed from the stroller  
frame.  
Depth from top of mattress to top of side of Carrycot at any position within 300mm/11.8in  
from harness attachment points, should not be reduced to less than 150mm/5.5in when  
mattress is in position. Mattresses purchased separately should conform to BS 1877 part  
10.

Do not add a mattress thicker than 25mm.  
Check snap locks are closed and firmly attached to frame so Carrycot will not tip or fall.  
Check Carrycot is horizontal and located correctly onto stroller frame. Refer back to  
diagrams for your model to ensure positioning of snap locks is correct.

Do not use Carrycot if you are unable to secure it to stroller frame. In this case contact  
store where stroller was purchased for more help.

Check that Carrycot attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.  
Always remove Carrycot before folding stroller.

Preparing your Stroller to fit the Carrycot  
Before you can attach the Carrycot to your stroller you will need to remove the fabric  
sunhood and seat on your stroller.  
Removing the Sunhood  
1.  
Standing beside your stroller and using a  
reasonable degree of force, pull the sunhood  
support wire towards you (by about 50mm/2in).

Remove support wire W from sunhood bush J on  
the side nearest to you.  
Unfasten sunhood domes that  
attach the sunhood to stroller  
frame and to stroller seat back.

Unfasten domes on seat that attach to frame.  
Urban (Jungle) Only: unfasten strap  
underneath seat at point A.

Terrain Only: remove seat support wire from

Preparing your Stroller (continued)  
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DOUBLE AND  
TRIPLE STROLLERS

If you have a double or triple stroller you will need to remove the centre metal bars of the  
frame to release the domed fabric. You may then need to reattach the metal bars without  
the fabric, depending on whether you are attaching a Double or a Twin Carrycot. See chart  
below.  
How to remove the centre bar(s)

point F and remove hinge pin from seat base.

Preparation  
You will need to have all components on the parts list  
shown to fit Carrycot to your stroller.  
Carrycot  
Have a look at sides of Carrycot. There are three holes  
4 x snap locks  
on each side of Carrycot to allow snap locks to be fitted.  
Configuration varies depending on the Mountain Buggy  
model you have.

2 x screws

Two snap locks are fitted to each side of Carrycot.  
The unused hole can be fitted with the spare screw  
and cover button.

How to fit the Snap Locks  
1.  
Place one snap lock over hole A. Make sure it is  
aligned correctly with the hole in Carrycot.  
2.  
Using Allen key, rotate screw in snap lock in  
clockwise direction until screw is tight. Snap lock  
will still be able to rotate but is firmly attached.

Fitting the Carrycot to the Frame

Ensure snap locks are rotated so screw holes are  
on top.

they are fully locked.  
Fitting the Feet to the Carrycot

Take one foot and place provided screw through  
hole in narrow end of foot.

Screw whole unit into one of the 4 holes located  
on bottom of Carrycot.

Ensure foot is screwed tightly.  
Repeat process for all 4 feet.  
To remove: unscrew each foot from bottom of Carrycot.

Preparation  
Make sure you have all the necessary  
parts as outlined in this picture.

NB: The sliding plates part kit is  
not supplied with a twin carrycot  
and will need to be separately  
purchased to attach the twin to  
a triple stroller. Also note that the  
snap locks used in Configuration 1  
are different from those used in this

Work out which side you want to  
attach the Carrycot to. If you want to position the Carrycot onto the right side of stroller,  
put the snap locks onto the right side of the Carrycot and the sliding plate onto the left. To  
position the Carrycot onto the left side of the stroller the snap locks go on the left side of  
the stroller and the sliding plate on the right.  
NB: Left and right are considered from the point of view of the user when they are  
pushing the buggy.  
Attaching Snap Locks

Fitting the Sliding Plate to the Carrycot  
•

Position sliding plate on opposite side of Carrycot to snap locks.  
Sliding plate screws are located at Holes A and C in side of Carrycot. Hole B is not  
required.

There are 4 screw holes in sliding plate. Use diagram below to locate which two  
holes are required for your stroller model.

Fitting the Carrycot to the Frame

Ensure snap locks are rotated so screw holes are on top.  
Open snap locks.  
Place Carrycot between side tube and centre bar of  
stroller. Locate centre bar lug then move sliding plate  
down centre bar until groove in sliding plate locks onto  
located lug.

Push snap locks firmly down flat, making sure you hear  
the lock ‘click’, indicating they are fully locked.  
To fit a second Double Carrycot onto a Double or Triple Stroller  
repeat above instructions.  
To remove Carrycot from frame: open snap locks and lift Carrycot off frame.  
Fitting the Feet to the Carrycot  
1.

La nacelle convient aux nouveaux-nés jusqu’à l’âge de 6 mois, ou jusqu’à ce que le bébé  
puisse se maintenir assis sans aide.  
Le bébé ne doit, en aucun cas, se trouver dans la nacelle quand celle-ci est posée ou  
enlevée du châssis de la poussettte.  
La profondeur de la nacelle, depuis le haut du matelas jusqu’au côté supérieur de la nacelle,  
ou dans toute autre position à l’intérieur de celle-ci, doit être de 300 mm/11,8 pouces à  
partir des points d’attache des harnais, et ne doit pas être inférieure à 140 mm/5,5 pouces  
quand le matelas se trouve dans la nacelle. Les matelas achetés séparément doivent être  
conformes à la norme BS 1877 section 10.

N’ajoutez pas un matelas plus épais que 25 mm.

siège en tissu de la poussette.  
Extraction du pare-soleil

INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTES POUR LES

POUSSETTES DOUBLES ET TRIPLES  
Si vous avez une poussette double ou triple, vous devez enlever les tiges métalliques  
centrales du châssis pour retirer le tissu. Vous devrez alors rattacher les tiges sans le tissu,  
selon le type de nacelle (double ou triple) à poser. Référez-vous à l’illustration çi-dessous.

Deux fermoirs sont posés de chaque côté de la  
nacelle. Le trou inutilisé peut servir pour la vis et le  
couvre bouton de rechange.

Placez l’un des fermoirs dans le trou A. Assurez-  
vous qu’il est aligné avec le trou de la nacelle.

A l’aide d’une clé Allen, tournez la vis dans le  
fermoir dans le sens des aiguilles ďune montre  
jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit bien serrée. Le fermoir peut  
tourner mais reste fermement attaché.

Décidez de quel côté vous désirez poser la nacelle. Si vous voulez la poser du côté droit de  
la poussette, attachez les fermoirs sur le côté droit de la nacelle et la plaque en métal sur le  
côté gauche. Si vous voulez poser la nacelle sur le côté gauche de la poussette, les fermoirs  
doivent être attachés sur le côté gauche de la poussette et la plaque métallique sur le côté  
droit.  
Remarque: la gauche et la droite sont situées du point de vue de la personne qui pousse  
la poussette.  
Attache des fermoirs  
1.  
Placez un fermoir sur le trou A. Assurez-vous qu’il  
est aligné avec le trou dans la nacelle.

A l’aide de la clé Allen, tournez la vis dans le  
fermoir dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre  
jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit bien serrée. Le fermoir peut  
tourner mais reste fermement attaché.

coulissante avec le trou C de la nacelle.

Placez les vis dans les trous 1 et 2. A l’aide de la clé  
Allen, vissez-les dans le sens des aiguilles d’une  
montre.

Avertissement: vérifiez que les attaches de la nacelle sont correctement engagées avant  
de l’utiliser.  
Pose de la nacelle sur le châssis

Assure-vous que les fermoirs sont tournés afin que les  
trous des vis soient situés vers le haut.

Ouvrez les fermoirs.  
Placez la nacelle entre le tube latéral et la tige centrale  
de la poussette. Trouvez la patte d’attache centrale, puis  
poussez la tige coulissante vers le bas de la tige centrale  
jusqu’à ce que le fermoir trouve la rainure de la tige sur la  
patte d’attache.

Poussez les fermoirs à plat solidement et assurez-vous qu’ils ‘cliquent’, indiquant

das Kind ohne Hilfe aufrecht sitzen kann.

Das Kleinkind darf sich nicht im Tragekorb befinden wenn dieser befestigt, oder vom  
Kinderwagenrahmen entfernt wird.  
Die Tiefe vom Kopfende der Matzratze bis zur Spitze der Seite des Tragekorbs, kann  
jede Position innerhalb 300mm/11.8in von den Gurt-Anbringungspunkten betragen,  
sollte aber nicht auf weniger als 140mm/5.5in reduziert werden wenn den Matratze  
in Position ist. Matratzen die separat erworben werden, sollten BS 1877 Teil 10  
entsprechen. .

Benutzen Sie keine Matratzen die dicker als 25mm sind.  
Überprüfen Sie dass die Schnappschlösser geschlossen und sicher am Rahmen befestigt  
sind, damit der Babytragekorb nicht kippen oder fallen kann.

Überprüfen Sie dass der Tragekorb sich in der Horizontalen befindet und korrekt auf  
dem Kinderwagenrahmen angebracht wurde. Beziehen Sie sich auf die passenden  
Abbildungen ihres Modells, um sicherzugehen dass die Position der Schnappschlösser  
korrekt ist.

Benutzen Sie den Babytragekorb nicht wenn Sie diesen nicht am Kinderwagenrahmen  
befestigen können. Bitte kontaktieren Sie in diesem Falle den Händler bei dem Sie den  
Tragekorb erworben haben um Hilfe zu erhalten.

Überprüfen Sie vor Nutzung dass die Befestigungsvorrichtungen des Tragekorbs korrekt  
schließen.

Sonnenschutz und den Sitz ihres Kinderwagens entfernen.  
Entfernen des Sonnenschutzes

Falls Sie einen Zwei- oder Dreisitzer-Kinderwagen besitzen, müssen Sie die zentralen  
Metallstäbe vom Rahmen entfernen um den gewölbten Stoff abziehen zu können.  
Eventuell müssen Sie dann die Metallstäbe ohne den Stoff wieder anbringen, je nachdem  
ob Sie eine Doppel- oder Zwillings-Babytragekorb befestigen. Bitte beachten Sie die  
folgende Darstellung.

Vorbereitung  
LISTE DER ZUBEHÖRTEILE  
Sie müssen alle Teile der unten aufgeführten Teileliste  
Babytragekorb  
bereitliegen haben, um den Tragekorb am Kinderwagen  
anzubringen.  
Werfen Sie einen Blick auf die Seiten des Tragekorbs. Dort  
befinden sich auf jeder Seite des Tragekorbs Öffnungen, an  
welchen die Schnappschlösser angebracht werden können.  
Die Ausstattung hängt von dem von ihnen erworbenen  
Mountain Buggy Modell ab.

Zwei Schnappschlösser werden an jeder Seite des  
Tragekorbs angebracht. Die ungenutzte Öffnung  
kann mit einer überschüssigen Schraube und einem  
Abdeckknopf ausstaffiert werden.

Wie Sie die Schnappschlösser anbringen

Platzieren Sie ein Schnappschloss über der Öffnung  
A. Stellen Sie sicher dass es genau bündig ist mit der

Schnappschlösser auf der linken Seite des Kinderwagens und die Gleitplatte an der rechten

NB: Links und rechts sind vom Standpunkt des Nutzers wenn der Kinderwagen

Anbringung des Tragekorbs an den Rahmen  
Platzieren Sie den Tragekorb zwischen der Seitenstange und der Mittelstange des  
Kinderwagens. Lokalisieren Sie das Mittelstangen Anschlussstück und bewegen Sie dann  
die Gleitplatte an der Mittelstange nach unten, bis die Fuge in  
der Gleitplatte in das Anschlussstück einrastet.

Stellen Sie sicher dass die Schnappschlösser gedreht sind,  
so dass die Schraubenlöcher oben sind.

Platzieren Sie den Tragekorb auf dem

Dreifachkinderwagen anzubringen, wiederholen Sie obenstehende Anleitungen.  
Um den Tragekorb vom Rahmen zu entfernen: öffnen Sie die Schnappschlösser und  
heben Sie den Tragekorb vom Rahmen.  
Anbringen der Füße an den Tragekorb

Prima di attaccare il Carrycot (lettino portatile) al passeggino bisogna rimuovere il  
cappuccio parasole di stoffa e il sedile del passeggino.  
Rimozione del cappuccio parasole

usando una forza moderata tirate il filo metallico di  
supporto al cuppuccio, verso di voi (di circa cm 5).

Se voi avete un passeggino doppio o triplo, dovrete rimuovere le barre metalliche di centro  
del telaio per liberare la stoffa coi bottoni automatici.  
Poi forse dovrete riattaccare le barre metalliche senza la stoffa: questo dipende dal Carrycot  
(lettino portatile) che state attaccando, se il Double (doppio) o il Twin (gemelli). Vedere il  
diagramma qui sotto.

Dovete decidere a quale lato attaccare il Carrycot (lettino portatile). Se volete mettere  
il Carrycot al lato destro del passeggino, mettete le serrature a scatto al lato destro del  
Carrycot e la piastra scorrevole alla sinistra. Se invece volete mettere il Carrycot al lato  
sinistro del passeggino, le serrature a scatto vanno messe al lato sinistro del passeggino e la  
piastra scorrevole al lato destro.  
NB: La sinistra e la destra sono considerate dal punto di vista della persona quando questa  
spinge il passeggino.  
Come attaccare le serrature a scatto  
1.  
Mettere una serratura a scatto sopra il buco A.  
Assicurarsi che è allineato correttamente con il  
buco nel Carrycot (lettino portatile).

en el lado izquierdo. Si la quiere en el lado izquierdo del coche, ponga los soportes en el lado  
izquierdo de la cuna portable y la placa de deslizamiento en el lado derecho.  
Nota: Lado derecho o izquierdo es considerado desde el punto de vista del usuario

De babywieg is geschikt voor pasgeborenen tot en met 6 maanden, of tot de baby  
zonder hulp rechtop kan zitten.  
De baby mag zich niet in de reiswieg bevinden wanneer deze wordt vastgemaakt of  
wordt verwijderd van het frame van de kinderwagen.  
Diepte van de top van de matras tot de top van de kant van de reiswieg op, of om op het  
even welke positie tussen ca 300mm van de bevestigingspunten van het harnas, mag  
niet gereduceerd worden tot minder dan ca 140mm wanneer de matras op haar plaats  
ligt. Matrassen die apart zijn aangekocht moeten overeenkomstig de Britse Standaard  
(BS) 1877, deel 10 zijn.

De matras mag niet dikker zijn dan 25 mm.  
Controleer of het knipslot stevig is aangebracht aan het frame zodat de reiswieg niet  
kantelt of valt.

Controleer of de reiswieg horizontaal is en correct op het frame van de wandelwagen  
is geplaatst. Kijk opnieuw naar de diagrammen voor uw model om te verzekeren dat de  
plaatsing van de knipsloten correct is.  
Gebruik de reiswieg niet wanneer u niet in staat bent om het aan het frame van de  
wandelwagen vast te maken. Indien dit het geval is, neem dan contact op met de winkel  
waar u uw wandelwagen kocht om meer hulp te krijgen.

Alvorens u de reiswieg kan aanbrengen moet u eerst het gestel van het zonnescherm en  
het zitje van uw wandelwagen verwijderen.  
Verwijderen van het zonnescherm

trek de steundraad van het zonnescherm naar u  
toe (ca 50 mm).

Indien u een tweevoudige of drievoudige wandelwagen hebt zal u de centrale metalen  
stangen van het frame moeten verwijderen om de kap van het materiaal te los te maken.  
U moet dan de metalen stangen opnieuw vastmaken zonder het materiaal, afhankelijk of u  
een Dubbele of Triple reiswieg vastmaakt. Zie grafiek onderaan.

Varning

Babyliften tillämpar sig för spädbarn upp till 6 månader eller till och med bebisen kan sitta  
rak utan hjälp.  
•
•
Bebisen får inte befinna sig i babyliften när denna fästas eller tas bort från barnvagnens  
ram.  
Djupet från madrassens topp till babyliftens sidotopp på, eller på vilken som helst  
position, ca 300 mm från säkerhetsselens fästningspunkter, borde inte minskas till  
mindre än 140 mm när madrassen är på plats. Madrasser som är köpte seprat borde vara  
i överensstämmelse med den Britiska Standarden (BS) 1877 del 10.

Madrassen får inte vara tjockare än 25 mm.  
Kontrollera om trycklåsen är stängda och noga fästade på ramen, så att babyliften inte  
kommer att välta eller ramla.

Kontrollera om babyliften är horisontell och korrekt placerad på barnvagnens ram.  
Titta åter på diagrammen för din modell för att försäkra att placeringen av trycklåsen är  
korrekt.  
Använd babyliften inte om du inte har någon möjlighet att fästa den på ramen av  
barnvagnen. Om detta är fallet, vänligen ta kontakt med den affär där du köpte din  
barnvagn för att få mer hjälp.

Kontrollera om babyliftens alla monterbara delar är applicerade innan de används.

Innan du kan montera babyliften bör du först ta bort solskyddens ram och barnvagnens säte.  
Att ta bort solskyddet

Stå bredvid din barnvagn och använd lite styrka, dra  
solskyddets stödtråd mot dig 8ca 50 mm).  
Ta bort stödtråden (W) från solskyddets hylsa (J) mot  
sidan som är närmast dig.  
Lossa solskyddets huv som  
fästas vid barnvagnens ram och  
sätets stolrygg.

Enkel Urban (Jungle) Modell: Lossa bältet på

BARNVAGNSMODELLER  
IOm du har en dubbel eller trippel barnvagn måste du ta bort de centrala metallstänger  
från ramen för att lossa materialets huv. Sedan måste du åter fästa de metallstänger utan  
materialet, beroende om du fästar en Dubbel eller Trippel babylift. Se figur nedan.  
Hur ta bort den centrala stången/stänger

Att montera din babylift på barnvagnen är ganska enkelt. Det är dock viktigt att följa de  
rätta instruktionerna.  
Mountain Buggy bjuder en hel del kombinationer för babylift och barnvagnar, så välj de  
instruktioner som du behöver följa från listan nedan, som är baserad på den babyliftmodell  
som du vill montera på barnvagnen.

Titta på babyliftens sida. Det finns re öppningar på varje sida

av babyliften, som tillåter att trycklås fästas. Konfigurationen  
varierar beroende på den Mountain Buggy Modell du har.

Skruva fast alltihop i ett av de fyra öppningarna på  
babyliftens botten.

Upprepa denna process för alla fyra fotstöd.

Bestäm på vilken sida du vill placera babyliften. I fall du vill placera babyliften på  
barnvagnens högra sida, placera trycklåsen på högra babyliftens högra sida och skjutplåtan  
på vänstra sidan. För att placera babyliften på barnvagnens vänstra sida, placera trycklåsen  
på barnvagnens vänstra sida och skjutplåtan på högra sidan.  
OBS: Vänster och höger betraktas från användarens synvinkel, när denna skjuts fram.  
Att fästa trycklåsen

Placera ett trycklås i öppning A. Se till att låset är kopplat in korrekt på babyliftens  
öppning.

centrala stång. Placera centrale stångens fog, flytta sedan  
skjutplåtan från centrala stången tills skåran i skjutplåtan  
är fästad på fogen.

Tryck ner trycklåsen ganska ordentligt, se till att låset

För att montera en andra Dubbel babylift på Två- eller  
Tredubblamodeller, upprepa instruktionerna ovan.  
Att ta bort babyliften från ramen: öppna trycklåsen och ta din babylift ur ramen.  
Att montera babyliftens fotstöd  
1.  
Ta ett stöd att placera den försedda skruvan  
genom fotstödets öppning på fotstödets ände.

Skruva fast alltihop i ett av de fyra öppningarna på  
babyliftens botten.

Se till at forstödet är skruvat fast ordentligt.
