INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY INSTALLATION
The XiA connects an iPod and a XM receiver with a display module to
an OEM radio allowing control of the iPod or the XM receiver through
the radio buttons. This manual is specifically for Ford OEM Radios that
are not equipped for Satellite reception and have the XiA Interface Unit
installed in-vehicle along with either or both iPod and an external XM
Receiver.
The XiA Interface Unit emulates an OEM CD Changer or an external
Satellite Receiver, and on installation replaces either one. In vehicles
that are not equipped for the OEM Satellite Receiver, the XiA Adapter
should be setup to emulate the CD Changer.
