OPERATION
A)
Setting the Tone / Pulse switch
Please ask your local telephone company whether your phone service is
PULSE (Rotary) dialing or TONE dialing. Set the switch at TONE position for
TONE type, or set the switch at PULSE position for PULSE (Rotary) type
B)
To Receive a Call
Whenever your phone rings, pick it up and use it as you would with any standard
telephone
C)
Dialing a Call
Pick up your telephone, and listen for dial tone, then press the keys for the
number you want to call.
D)
Ringer ON / OFF switch
When you don't want to be disturbed by incoming calls, slide the ringer switch
on the base to the "OFF" position; you can still use the phone to make out-going
calls, but any in-coming call will not activate the ringer. Remember to return the
switch to the "ON" position when you are ready to receive calls.
E)
Ending a Call
After you have finished your conversation just hang up the handset. If you want
to make another call immediately, press the “ FLASH” button once,
and the line is ready for another call
F)
MUTE Button
Holding down the MUTE button during a telephone call turns off the
microphone. You can then talk privately to someone else in the room without the
person on the phone hearing you. When you hold down the MUTE button, you
can still hear the other person, but anything you say will be not heard. When you
release the button, your caller will again be able to hear your voice
G) To Redial the Last number
This telephone always remembers the last number you called
If the line is busy and you wish to try again, first press the 'FLASH' button, then
press the 'REDIAL' button, and the last number will be redialed again
