High blade tip speed
Floating front axle provides for smoother ride, more uniform cut, and optimal traction
capability by keeping all tires equally in contact with the ground over uneven terrain. A foot
activated axle lock provides for temporary curb or edge cutting without grounding or hanging
up the deck.
18,515 fpm on the 54" deck and 18,700 fpm on the 60" deck for clean quality of cut.
Easy access spindle housings 1" diameter greaseable spindle housing with easy access lubrication points. Housings are
ductile iron designed to handle heavy shock loads.

Kevlar drive belts
Single hydrostatic pump drive belt and single deck drive belt made with Kevlar fiber for
long belt life.
Lever activated park brake
A manually activated over-center lever next to the operator’s seat easily and conveniently
activates or releases a highly durable and reliable enclosed wet disc brake. Mower will not
move until brake is released.

Rising off of the seat with blades engaged will cut engine power and stop blade rotation.
Engine cannot be started with blade PTO switch in “on” position.
Proven 26 hp Briggs and Stratton ELS, 25 hp Kawasaki, 31 hp Kawasaki, or 24 hp Honda
to meet customer preferences with power and performance to spare.
Premium Honda and Kawasaki engines come standard with a remote air intake which filters
out 95 percent of airborne particulate prior to contact with the primary cartridge filter. The
Briggs ELS comes standard with a proven 2-stage quick access filter cartridge.
Easy engine access
Hour meter
Easy access to oil dipstick, spark plugs, oil drain ports, air filters and oil filters for convenient
serviceability.
Measure actual engine run time to monitor service intervals.
