ELECTRICAL SAFETY
People with electronic devices, such as pacemakers, should consult their
physician(s) before using this product. Operation of electrical equipment in
close proximity to a heart pacemaker could cause interference or failure of
the pacemaker.
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tool. Keep the cord
away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Replace damaged cords
immediately. Damaged cords may create a fire.
A battery operated tool with integral batteries or a separate battery pack
must be recharged only with the specified charger for the battery. A charger
that may be suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery.
WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and
other construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of California
to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints.
Use battery operated tool only with specifically designated battery pack. Use of

PERSONAL SAFETY
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like:
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can
make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery termi-
nals together may cause sparks, burns or a fire.
Maintain tools with care. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained
tools with sharp cutting edge are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any
other condition that may affect the tool’s operation. If damaged, have the tool
serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.
Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your
model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may create a risk of injury
when used on another tool.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operat-
ing a power tool. Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair.
Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switch is in the locked or “ OFF” position
before inserting battery pack. Carrying power tools with your finger on the
switch or inserting battery pack into a tool with the power switch ON” invites
accidents.
SERVICE
Remove adjusting keys or wrenches before turning the tool “ ON” . A wrench
or a key that is left attached to a rotating part of the tool may result in person-
al injury.
Tool service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or
maintenance by unqualified personnel may result in a risk of injury.
When servicing a tool, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions
in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to
follow Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of shock or injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper foot-
ing and balance enable better control of the tool in unexpected situations.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safe-
ty shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES AND/OR SYMBOLS
TOOL USE AND CARE
Keep hands away from cutting area and blade. Keep
your second hand on auxiliary handle or motor housing. If both hands are
holding the saw, they cannot be cut by the blade.
Use clamps or other practical ways to secure and support the workpiece to a
stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against your body is unstable and
may lead to loss of control.
Keep your body positioned to either side of the saw blade, but not in line with the
saw blade. KICKBACK could cause the saw to jump backwards (See Causes and
Prevention of Kickback).
Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool
will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed.
Do not reach underneath the work. The guard cannot protect you from the blade
below the work.
Do not use the tool if the power switch does not turn it ON” or OFF. A tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Check lower guard for proper closing before each use. Do not operate saw if
lower guard does not move freely and close instantly. Never clamp or tie lower
guard into the open position. If saw is accidentally dropped, lower guard may be
bent. Raise the lower guard with the Retracting Handle and make sure it moves
freely and does not touch the blade or any other part, in all angles and depths of cut.
Check the operation and condition of the lower guard spring. If the guard and the
spring are not operating properly, they must be serviced before use. Lower guard
may operate sluggishly due to damaged parts, gummy deposits, or a buildup of debris.
Disconnect battery pack from tool or place the switch in the locked or OFF” posi-
tion before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.
Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.
Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools
are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

Lower guard should be retracted manually only for special cuts such as “ Pocket
Cuts” and Compound Cuts. Raise lower guard by Retracting Handle. As soon
as the blade enters the material, lower guard must be released. For all other saw-
ing, the lower guard should operate automatically.
Do not run the Cordless Circular Saw while carrying it at your side. A mov-
ing blade could cause serious personal injury.
Always observe that the lower guard is covering the blade before placing saw
down on bench or floor. An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to walk
backwards, cutting whatever is in its path. Be aware of the time it takes for the blade
to stop after the switch is released.
Disconnect battery pack from tool and place the switch in the locked or
OFF” position before making any assembly adjustments, changing acces-
sories, performing any inspection, maintenance or cleaning procedures. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally
which could cause serious personal injury.
NEVER hold piece being cut in your hands or across your leg. It is important to
support the work properly to minimize body exposure, blade binding, or loss of control.
Be extra careful when cutting in high or hard-to-reach locations. Avoid saw-
ing overhead. Be on the lookout for hidden wires and falling debris.
Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the
cutting tool may contact hidden wiring. Contact with a “live” wire will also make
exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and shock the operator.
Do not use the Cordless Circular Saw if it has been damaged, left outdoors
in the rain, snow, wet or damp environments, or immersed in liquid.
When ripping always use a rip fence or straight edge guide. This improves the
accuracy of the cut and reduces the chance for blade binding.
Maintain labels and nameplates on the Cordless Circular Saw. These carry
important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Alltrade for a replacement.
Always use blades with correct size and shape (diamond vs. round) arbor holes.
Blades that do not match the mounting hardware of the saw will run eccentrically,
causing loss of control.
CAUSES AND PREVENTION OF KICKBACK
Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or bolts. The blade washers and
bolts were specifically designed for your saw, for optimum performance and safety
of operation.
Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched, bound, or misaligned saw blade, causing an
uncontrolled saw to lift up and out of the work piece toward the operator.
When the blade is pinched or bound tightly by the kerf closing down, the blade stalls and
the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back toward the operator.
SAFETY RULES FOR CIRCULAR SAW
If the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut, the teeth at the back edge of the
blade can dig into the top surface of the wood causing the blade to climb out of the kerf
and jump back toward the operator.
NEVER assume the blade has stopped just because the trigger has been
released. Blades may continue moving even after the motor stops.
Kickback is the result of tool misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or
conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below:
Always wear safety goggles or eye protection when using this tool. Use a
dust mask or respirator for applications which generate dust. This saw may
throw up debris that could lodge in the eyes causing severe pain or injury.
Maintain a firm grip on the saw and position your body and arm in a way that
allows you to resist KICKBACK forces. KICKBACK forces can be controlled by the
operator, if proper precautions are taken.
Inspect the bolts and blade washers before each use. Damaged or incorrect
bolts or blade washers can cause injury.
When blade is binding, or when interrupting a cut for any reason, release the
trigger and hold the saw motionless in the material until the blade comes to a
complete stop. Never attempt to remove the saw from the work or pull the saw
backward while the blade is in motion or KICKBACK may occur. Investigate and
take corrective actions to eliminate the cause of blade binding.
When using the Circular Saw, always maintain a firm grip on the tool with
both hands. Never put your hands or feet in the cutting area. Do not grasp
the tool or place your hands too close to the blade. Keep your hands well away
from the blade. Never reach underneath the tool while the blade is in motion.
Do not use your legs or feet to stabilize the work piece.
When restarting a saw in the work piece, center the saw blade in the kerf and
check that teeth are not engaged into the material. If saw blade is binding, it may
walk up or KICKBACK from the work piece as the saw is restarted.
Keep the handle of the Cordless Circular Saw dry, clean and free from oil and
grease.

Support large panels to minimize the risk of blade pinching and KICKBACK. Large
panels tend to sag under their own weight. Supports must be placed under the panel
on both sides, near the line of cut and near the edge of the panel.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
Be aware that this tool is always in an operating condition
because it does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Always turn
the switch OFF” and remove the battery pack before changing bits.
Do not use dull or damaged blade. Unsharpened or improperly set blades produce
narrow kerf causing excessive friction, blade binding and KICKBACK.
Blade depth and bevel adjusting locking levers must be tight and secure before
making cut. If blade adjustment shifts while cutting, it will cause binding and KICK-
BACK.
9
7
8
Use extra caution when making a “ Pocket Cut” into existing walls or other blind
areas. The protruding blade may cut objects that can cause KICKBACK.

hours for the battery to be fully charged.
BLADE SAFETY
LOCK BUTTON
This button locks the blade in position
and prevents it from moving.
Always switch to a fresh battery when tool performance begins to diminish.
Severe heat is most destructive to a battery; the more heat generated, the faster
the battery loses power. A battery that gets too hot can have a shortened life.
Never over-discharge a battery by using the tool even after tool performance
has decreased. Do not attempt to discharge a tool’s battery by continuing to
pull on the tool trigger. When tool performance begins to diminish, stop the tool
and recharge the battery for optimal performance.
RIP FENCE
The scaled rip fence guides the
saw to cut exactly along the edge
of work piece, making straight and
accurate parallel cuts.
Charge battery pack at ambient temperatures between 50° F – 104° F.
Store tool and battery pack in locations where temperatures will not exceed
120°F. This is important to prevent serious damage to the battery cells.
The battery pack should always be recharged when the Cordless Circular Saw
begins to run slowly.
RIP FENCE LOCK KNOB
This knob secures the rip fence in place.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects such as

WORK AREA
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, could result in
death or serious injury.
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered work benches and dark work
areas may cause accidents or injury.
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
Do not operate power tools in explosive areas, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite
the dust or fumes.
CAUTION used without the safety alert symbol
indicates a potentially hazardous situation which,
if not avoided, may result in property damage.
Keep bystanders, children and visitors away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
NOTE provides additional information that is useful
for proper use and maintenance of this tool. If a
NOTE is indicated make sure it is fully understood.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tool. Keep the cord
away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Replace damaged cords
immediately. Damaged cords may create a fire.
People with electronic devices, such as pacemakers, should consult their
physician(s) before using this product. Operation of electrical equipment in
close proximity to a heart pacemaker could cause interference or failure of
the pacemaker.
Use battery operated tool only with specifically designated battery pack. Use of
any other batteries may create risk of fire.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints.
Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products,
and arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type
of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated
area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are
specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
WARNING: Handling the power cord on corded products may expose you to
lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth
defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operat-
ing a power tool. Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
Maintain tools with care. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained
tools with sharp cutting edge are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair.
Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any
other condition that may affect the tool’s operation. If damaged, have the tool
serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.
Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switch is in the locked or “ OFF” position
before inserting battery pack. Carrying power tools with your finger on the
switch or inserting battery pack into a tool with the power switch ON” invites
accidents.
Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your
model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may create a risk of injury
when used on another tool.
Remove adjusting keys or wrenches before turning the tool “ ON” . A wrench
or a key that is left attached to a rotating part of the tool may result in person-
al injury.
SERVICE
Tool service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or
maintenance by unqualified personnel may result in a risk of injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper foot-
ing and balance enable better control of the tool in unexpected situations.
When servicing a tool, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions
in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to
follow Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of shock or injury..
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safe-
ty shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions..
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES AND/OR SYMBOLS
TOOL USE AND CARE
Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when per-
forming an operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring.
Contact with a live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the tool
“live” and shock the operator.
Use clamps or other practical ways to secure and support the workpiece to a
stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against your body is unstable and
may lead to loss of control.
Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool
will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed.
SAFETY RULES FOR CORDLESS RECIPROCATING SAW
Do not use the tool if the power switch does not turn it ON” or OFF. A tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Always wear safety goggles or eye protection when using this tool. Use a dust
mask or respirator for applications which generate dust.
Disconnect battery pack from tool or place the switch in the locked or OFF” posi-
tion before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.
Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.
Secure the material being worked on. Never hold it in your hand or across
your legs. Unstable support can cause loss of control and injury.
Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools
are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

cleaning or maintenance.
OIL
This Cordless Reciprocating Saw is lubricated before
it leaves the factory. This lubrication should last for the life of the tool. No
further lubrication is required.
Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the tool. Never let any liquid get
inside the casing. Never immerse any part of the tool in a liquid. Always keep the
ventilation openings clear.
Always clean the battery pack using only a dry cloth. Do not use liquids.
Always unplug the charger before cleaning it.
Regularly clean the ventilation slots in your tool and charger using only a soft
brush or dry cloth.
Inspect all mounting screws regularly. Tighten any loose screws. Failure to keep
the mounting screws tight could result in serious injuries.
Never open the Cordless Reciprocating Saw case, battery pack or charger. Do not
attempt to repair the Cordless Reciprocating Saw, battery pack or charger yourself.
Opening any of these parts will void your warranty.
When cutting metals other then copper, brass or aluminum, always use a lubricant,
such as cutting oil, to keep the blade cool. This will prolong the life of the blade as
well as speeding up the cutting process.
ACCESSORIES
Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model.
Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may become hazardous when used on
another tool.
• Make sure the work piece is held securely in place. Hold smaller pieces, such as
pipe or conduit, in a vise or attach to the workbench with clamps.
To eliminate vibration, always cut close to the clamping point.
Always attach grounded (3-prong) extension cords to grounded (3-hole) outlets.
When cutting thin sheets of metal, place a piece of plywood on either side to control
vibration and prevent tearing.
If you must use an extension cord, be sure that the gauge is large enough to carry
the amount of current necessary for your power tool. If not, your tool may experi-
ence a loss of power, excessive voltage drop or overheating. The smaller the gauge
number, the heavier the cord (see table on the next page).

CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
Keep bystanders, children and visitors away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
CAUTION used without the safety alert symbol
indicates a potentially hazardous situation which,
if not avoided, may result in property damage.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
NOTE provides additional information that is useful
for proper use and maintenance of this tool. If a
NOTE is indicated make sure it is fully understood.
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tool. Keep the cord
away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Replace damaged cords
immediately. Damaged cords may create a fire.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
A battery operated tool with integral batteries or a separate battery pack
must be recharged only with the specified charger for the battery. A charger
that may be suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery.
People with electronic devices, such as pacemakers, should consult their
physician(s) before using this product. Operation of electrical equipment in
close proximity to a heart pacemaker could cause interference or failure of
the pacemaker.
Use battery operated tool only with specifically designated battery pack. Use of
any other batteries may create risk of fire.
WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and
other construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of California
to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints.

Use of unauthorized parts or failure to
follow Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of shock or injury.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safe-
ty shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions.
TOOL USE AND CARE
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES AND/OR SYMBOLS
Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when perform-
ing an operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring. Contact
with a “live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the tool live” and shock
the operator.
SAFETY RULES FOR CORDLESS DRILL / DRIVERS
Do not use the tool if the power switch does not turn it ON” or OFF. A tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Always wear safety goggles or eye protection when using this tool. Use a
dust mask or respirator for applications which generate dust.
Disconnect battery pack from tool or place the switch in the locked or OFF” posi-
tion before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.
Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.
Do not grasp the tool or place your hands too close to the spinning chuck or
drill bit. Your hand may be lacerated or may cause injury.
Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools
are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Secure the material being worked on. Never hold it in your hand or across
your legs. Unstable support can cause loss of control and injury.

study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will
allow you to operate the tool better and safer.
Position yourself to avoid being caught between the tool or side handle and
walls or posts. Should the socket or bit become bound in the work, the reac-
tion torque of the tool could crush your hand or leg.
Check to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the
Cordless Drill before switching the tool “ ON” . Keys or wrenches can fly away
at high velocity striking you or a bystander.

INSTALLING DRILL BIT INTO KEYLESS CHUCK
Use only the charger which accompanied your product or direct replacement as
listed in this manual. Do not substitute any other charger. Use only Alltrade
approved chargers with your product.
WARNING
Before inserting a drill bit or other accessory, make sure the forward/reverse
and trigger lock lever is in the center OFF” position to prevent accidental starts
that may result in injury.
Do not disassemble charger.
Do not use charger if it has been damaged, left outdoors in the rain, snow, wet
or damp environments, or immersed in liquid.
Do not attempt to tighten drill bits (or any other accessory) by gripping the
front of the chuck and turning the tool on. This may cause personal injury
and/or damage to the chuck.
The battery pack and charger heat during charging. Place the charger on a flat,
non-flammable surface away from flammable materials with at least four inches of
clearance to allow proper air circulation around the charger and battery pack.
When removing the bit from the tool, avoid contact with skin and use proper
protective gloves when grasping the bit or accessory. Accessories may be hot

TORQUE SETTINGS
VARIABLE SPEED TRIGGER SWITCH
To prevent damaging the tool or driving screw too deep
into work piece, release the trigger when you feel the clutch slip.
THIS TOOL IS CONTROLLED
BY A TRIGGER SWITCH:
The speed of the Cordless Drill depends
on the amount of pressure you put on the
trigger.
CONTROL RING
THE CONTROL RING ADJUSTS THE LEVEL OF TORQUE:
For light duty work, use lower settings.
TRIGGER

PROPER SETTING FOR DRIVING SCREWS:
1. Set the ring on the lowest
setting to begin.
Release the pressure and the Cordless Drill
will slow down.
2. Try tightening the first screw.
If the drill drives smoothly,

HIGH/LOW SPEED (GEAR) SHIFTING
DRILLING WOOD
LOW SPEED
HIGH SPEED
FOR LOW SPEED SETTING:
Use twist bits to drill holes in wood. Make sure the bits are sharp. Pull the bits
out of the hole frequently to clear chips from the flutes as an overburdened bit
may overheat.
Slide the switch on top of the
Drill to Position 1 for high
torque applications and driving
screws.
HINTS FOR OPTIMUM USE
FOR HIGH SPEED SETTING:
Slide the switch to Position 2
for light duty projects.
DRILLING:
Keep the right amount of pressure in a straight line with the drill bit. Too little and
the bit will spin without cutting, too much and the motor may stall.
• Just before the drill tip breaks though the other side of the work piece drill more
slowly and decrease pressure on the tool. This will prevent stalling and leave a
cleaner hole.
Use a block of wood to back up work pieces that may splinter.
Use spade bits when drilling large diameter holes in wood.
Use HSS drill bits when drilling in metal.
SCREWDRIVING
WHEN DRIVING FASTENERS:
Use masonry bits when drilling in soft masonry.
Always start slowly and gradually increase the speed of the Drill.
Use a lubricant when drilling metals other than cast iron, aluminum, copper,
and brass.
Release the trigger when you feel the clutch slip.
Always keep the driver bit straight to prevent damage to the screw.
When drilling, start the hole slowly, allowing the bit to drill deep enough to prevent
slipping at higher speeds.
Hold the Drill with both hands to ensure control if the bit should stick or slip.
To prevent wood from splitting, drill pilot holes into the wood before driving
in the screws.
Never try to start a stalled Drill by clicking the trigger switch ON” and OFF” .
This may damage your tool.
DRILLING METAL
To reduce jamming, always keep the Drill running when pulling the bit out of a
finished hole.
WHEN DRILLING HARD METALS:
Apply a lubricant, such as cutting oil, to the tip of the bit.
SCREWDRIVING:
Always use the correct type and size of screwdriver bit.
Start with a small hole then enlarge to the required size. Make sure the bit is
actually cutting and not spinning in the hole as this will dull the edges of the bit.
• If screws are difficult to tighten, try applying a small amount of washing liquid or
soap as a lubricant.
Keep enough pressure on the bit to keep it drilling through the material.
DRILLING MASONRY
Always hold the tool and screwdriver bit in a straight line with the screw.
WHEN DRILLING MASONRY:
• Masonry can be brittle so be careful not to apply too much pressure and crack
the material.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Always remove the battery pack before attempting
cleaning or maintenance.
Apply enough pressure to keep the bit cutting and not spinning in the hole as this
will dull the edges of the bit.
Bricks and similar soft materials will require less pressure, concrete will require
much more.
